Based on my experience, I do not recommend this place .
Service on March 16 and I still waiting for them to have the labs results for a bladder infection and the cost for a bladder surgery. Today March 31.

I called many times and emailed them.
They mentioned cultures take up to 5 days.
I wait too much.
They may handling more that they can. I don t know, but they just could explained that.
They may have good technology and doctor. I don t know. After $1300 service they could call and advise they were too busy to work with us.
Customers time is also valuable, not words for our dog life.

My cat broke his leg while we were out of town & the team at Southeast Veterinary Referral Center took fantastic care of him! He had a successful surgery & is on the mend. Thank you to the entire staff for keeping him comfortable!

Professional and kind!

I brought my pup here because she was not looking good and they were very kind through the process. unfortunately my pup did not make it even to see the doctor and passed away, so i was a destroyed mess in the parking lot. The staff were very empathetic and kind to me throughout the process and made it as easy as smooth as possible for this awful situation. They even through in a copy of her pawprint to come with her ashes.

It is hard to find places that have staff that care, so when you do hold onto them. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone who is in need of desperate help with their pet.

It was hard to hear that our Maltese would need a operation but Dr. Daubs, Luis and Ray were all great. They were compassionate and patience with us as we were told what had to be done. Follow-up during and after the operation was greatly appreciated. We are now on the road to recovery... Thank you!!!

I do not know where to begin all I can say is if it wasn t for Southest veterinary referral center I would not have my little guy. It definitely left a huge imprint in my heart might sound a little cheesy but my dog is my child. My pup was only nine weeks old little French bulldog my first dog ever owned. within 72 hours of me having my pup he became very sick very ill and lethargic he would not stop vomiting so it was normal for me to freak out. I immediately started searching the web I needed to take my pup in to the urgent care came across their page immediately called them and told them what was going on and they told me to bring him in. Long story short my dog was diagnosed with Parvo at nine weeks they were very honest and told me the positive and negative they told me it was gonna be a hard 24 to 72 hours of admission. I am beyond grateful for the team every single time there was a change in shift doctors, nurses... etc I would always get a phone call on any status changes whether his vitals were OK they were normal they were improving. I can t thank the team enough they definitely put me at ease at such a traumatic and scary time. I was able to pick up my pup after a week and a half of him being admitted and he was stronger than ever and honestly I will forever recommend Southeast veterinary referral center!

Avoid this place at all costs!! Like most dog owners, my dog is my life and went to the surgery team unable to walk. First, after waiting over an hour to be seen, a nurse comes and takes my dog who is unable to walk and drags him into the hospital instead of just picking up my 35 pound dog. Next, he s seen for two hours with no updates from the Dr. Lin until she calls and says she ll email me all the details in a few hours. They didn t ask me for permission before anything and just charged my card $200. Later that night, I get an email saying the issues is bigger then they thought and I ll hear back next week. No other details were provided. A week later she emails me saying the surgery team is full for the next few months and I should go see another surgeon. This whole time my pet is crying and unable to walk. Now I m behind weeks waiting for another appointment with zero explanation of whatever issues SVRC found with my pet. If you care about your pet at all, DO NOT GO HERE.

I had an emergency with my dog. I went to MVS at 9:30am and they turned us away saying they were too busy all day. I called SVRC who was also very busy but said they would never turn anyone away. I arrived and was treated professionally and compassionately. My dog was well cared for and is now resting happily back home. Thank you very much!

I worked as a veterinarian at the affiliated emergency service when this practice first opened. We took care of their patients overnight and transferred additional patients to them in the morning. The specialists are highly trained, extensively experienced and doing it for the right reasons - they genuinely care about their patients and are seriously committed to helping them. I am a better vet for having had the opportunity to work with this group and, despite now having my own practice in a different part of the country, still sometimes call to speak with one of the specialists when I have a question about something unusual. Very rarely, I have even had reason to refer my own patients (whose owners have been in the area) to this practice for advanced care. It s always a good feeling knowing that they are going someplace that will take great care of them.

We took our beloved hamster to them during his last moments. He lived for almost 5 years and was very special to us. They treated him kindly and took care of the cremation process for us. Once I picked up his ashes, I was so surprised to see it already came a beautiful wooden box, in a sweet bag that said "Angel Pet" outside. They helped in making a difficult experience, as good as it got. Thanks for all your care.

We were surprised at the impersonal disposition of the vet that we were referred to see here, Dr. Carro. She repeatedly and systematically referred to our cat as 'It' which we found to be profoundly heartless in and of itself, but then we got her back, it was the first time our little girl was ever literally and emotionally shaking from a vet visit.

We will never go back here. It's worth mentioning that there was a covid outbreak in the hospital itself at some point which resulted in us having to find restroom facilities elsewhere despite a $1,300 bill.

The price was expected, and we have pet insurance, but the disposition toward us and our pet was not. Our recommendation is to seek care elsewhere. We found a caring doctor up in Broward that we are happy to travel to.

It pays to bring your furry family who to a good doctor. Especially one who doesn't casually and repeatedly refer to your little one as 'It'.
