I first met Dr June Hou last August 2017... the day that changed my life! I needed a new PCP and the admin Tonya understood I wanted an appt sooner rather than later. She got me in quickly. I knew nothing about Dr Hou but was instantly put at ease by her demeanor. She is straight, and to the point, very detailed... and that first day ordered some changes for me that literally changed my life!

I have seen dozen of doctors over the years- and never did a doctor listen with such care - think thoughtfully for a few moments - make certain suggestions for immediate changes in my daily regime. I was so impressed. And they were suggestions that I thought were a little unusual- yet, I knew I should try. And I am here 10 months later saying she was 100% on point!. I only wish I had met her 15 years ago.

Highly recommend Dr Hou, the epitome of the PCP professional you want caring for you. She treats you from years of experience, wisdom and confidence in her knowledge. She is an advocate for you being aware of what is going in in your life, mind, body and working through it- with exercise, proper nutrition , proper sleep, and medication if needed.

Dr Hou is a traditional (I say his is the best sense)
doctor, and at the same time well versed in everything medical today. She knows exactly who to refer you if needed, and assists you in getting an appointment in good time.

I am so grateful to Tonya for gettinng me into
Dr Hou and will be forever grateful to Dr Hou for her determined -yet kind- drs orders ... for she gave me my life back!

08/20/14 1:45 PM After spending a full 30-minutes waiting through the count down in the main number queue, I reached "Tanya". I asked her if she could tell me if three of their internal medicine physicians were accepting new patients. Without a word, she hung up on me. I'd venture a guess that there are plenty of people who would actually be interested in doing Tanya's job (properly).

I was a longtime patient of Peter Martens until he told me I needed to take Paxil for anxiety caused by a pinched nerve injury, which in of itself is absurd. Antidespressants should never be scribed for situational anxiety. He failed to give me any informed consent, he told me nothing about the risks or warnings associated with the medication and failed to the do the appropriate screening to make sure it was safe for me to take. Sure enough I took the medication and couldn't sleep naturally for 3 weeks without an aid. The medication triggered a hypomanic-like episode and Dr. Martens was no where to be found when it came to stopping the episode in its tracks. When he spoke with an organization that had screened me prior to taking Paxil, he said he was concerned enough about my health that he would refer me to a specialist to screen for manic symptoms - except he never did such a thing. Instead, I suffered through 3 weeks of hellish symptoms until I had to be hospitalized. After living through such horror, I confirmed with 6 separate psychiatrists that just 2 days of Paxil could cause such a reaction while arrogant Dr. Martens denied any responsibility for this event even though I never suffered through insomnia or any sort mood episode until I took Paxil. Such behavior from a doctor is utterly despicable and doctors who cause such reactions needed to face consequences or more victims will surface. Frankly, the prescribing of antidepressants by primary care doctors should be illegal. It's sad to say but going to Dr Martens for mental health issues was ultimately the worst decision I have ever made in my life and will likely remain the worst decision I've ever made in my life. The potentially life changing impact of what occurred could have far-reaching consequences for the rest of my entire life.

I saw Dr.Hau after needing to leave my primary doctor for a practice more close to home. She barely familiarized herself with my chart and came in suggesting weight watchers as my only hope, but for a person with Binge Eating Disorder, that's the worst referral you can give.

Staff is overworked and their phone lines are at times 19 deep in the queue. Go elsewhere.

Dr.Patel is amazing. She is my mother's cardiologist and she is the one who was able to diagnose her and help. I am so happy we met Dr.Patel in this practice. She is always so helpful, very caring, never rushes you and patiently answers to all questions.

Rude and dismissive when you call and are lucky enough to talk to a human. Left two messages prior and never got a return call. The lack of attention to detail and follow up is really scary for a doctors office.

phone call queues are insane in this location. Only 2-3 staff who answers the phones.. The amount of times I had to wait an hour for my turn and "somehow" i get disconnected.. Do not be surprised when the front desk hangs up on you after waiting an hour because they simply do not care...

I cant imagine why DR FIORI practicing here! He is professional, kind and quick to respond. The office/ billing department is rude, doesn't return calls for days. The most shocking and nasty call was from Debby in billing, She did some "research" and decided what the DIAGNOSIS was!, NOT DR FIORI BUT DEBBY IN BILLING!! i cant see Dr FIORI there anymore!
