British Swim School continues to provide an outstanding swim program that is complemented by an extreme attention to cleanliness!! They have transformed our 6 year from putting their feet into the water to swimming proper strokes in a lane. The facility is always clean, organized, and ran efficiently; which for a kids business is hard to come by. We are gratefully for their program and continue to be amazed by the progress of our 6 year old.

Good teachers, happy with them, but man at reception not so friendly and changed the good experience

I enjoy the get in get out time slot I've selected - Very clean place, personable young staff who's always ready to assist when needed I have no complaints.

School is very well run. Staff is professional, friendly and very skilled. I signed up my two little ones and they are having a great time while learning the basic swimming skills. Very grateful to the staff and managers for this wonderful place

Two children, in my family, go to British Swim School in South Lyon. We were impressed from the very first day!

The pool is very clean and maintained.
The customer service could not be more accommodating. The instructors are geared to show children how to feel comfortable in the water and practice with confidence the various swimming techniques. The youngest member of our family started at British Swim School about a year ago. She did not want any part of water on her face. We watched the instructors delicately help her to enjoy swimming by building her confidence and skills. She has now advanced and looks forward to each and every class!!

We have 2 children at the South Lyon British Swim school and they love it. So do we. It is clean, professional and a lot of fun. The owners are serious about making it a top notch place, and they hire instructors who actually care. Our children are so much more confident and excited about swimming now.

The swim school is very nice and couldn't be happier with the teaching experience. The only downfall is the changing rooms. They are extremely small. I bring my infant along to watch my older child swim. The dressing rooms are so small I have to leave the infant carrier outside of the room in order to fit. There is also no bench in the room so you have to do everything standing on the floor.

We have been very pleased so far with the British swim school! Thrilled to have this location in South Lyon (we switched from another big swim school in Novi) and have been very happy with the clean facilities and friendly staff. Great mix of swimming skills as well as fun for our 2.5-year-old son. I also love that they get to burn off energy in the little inner-tubes at the end of class. Instructor Viyan has a wonderful friendly energy and our son responds so well to her instruction!

Prior to joining British Swim, my son was enrolled in another large swim school. It didn't focus on survival skills which is the number one reason we want our son to learn how to swim. Switching to British Swim was the best decision we made. We can already see a vast improvement in his swim/survival skills, and equally important, his confidence in the water - he now gets excited for swim school and to see his instructor! Great service, staff are always helpful, instructors are true professionals and very well trained, and the new location is so fresh, vibrant, with the chicest layout. I cannot speak highly enough of this place! Highly recommend A++++

Absolutely outstanding caring and compassionate people that are genuinely interested in the welfare of children and their ability to defend themselves in the water. We would highly recommend taking your children there who need to learn to swim

This was our first visit to a British Swim School and it was great. Facility was large and clean with plenty of changing rooms and 90 degree water. Mr. Neil (general manager) checked us in to make sure we were having a great time. We learned a lot and our 7 month old swimming with more to come!!....Thank YOU BSS

I love British Swim School.The life saving skills my children are learning will stay with them for life. It s great that they focus on survival first and swim skills second. Great experience every time. Professional and skilled staff and very cute clean facilities.

This swimming school is what I have been look for, I travel each week from Windsor to South Lyon so my kids can get the proper life saving training , the staff is amazing they knew exactly how to train my kids according to their swimming abilities , very neat and clean facility.

This place is such a blessing to South Lyon! We were previously going to swim school in Canton and we are so happy to have something closer to home. My 4 year old daughter has always been nervous to swim and she has made huge improvements in only 4 weeks. She cried the whole way there the first time and now she can't wait to go back each week. The instructors make the kids so comfortable and the owners are very hands on and friendly. My son (1.5) just comes to watch and they know his name and make sure he's having fun too. The facility is beautiful and is not packed so the kids seem to get more time in the water than at other swim schools we've attended.
