I visited the Parks and Recreation District to swim at the municipal swimming pool. The pool is 4 or 5 Lanes wide, with a deep end in all the lanes. Swimming was okay and the water temperature was acceptable. The locker room contains no lockers, and has tiny narrow benches on which to sit and dress. I was not very fond of the locker room. The reason I only gave it three stars, however, is the inaccessibility of the pool for physical therapy or anything other than lap swim or free time with children everywhere. They have no time that a person can just get in the pool and do their own exercise routine. Not only that, but they would not even let me in the locker room until the time that lap swim began. That means that you cannot be ready to get in the water when the lap time begins because they will not let you in the locker room to dress and prepare. This is a blatant waste of time and allows others who can walk in in their swimsuits get a lane before you. I did find the staff nice, however, and the other swimmers friendly.
