South Florida Diving Headquarters Review

My husband and I recently finished out checkout dives using S Florida Diving and I have nothing but positive things to say about them. The check in process was easy. Our captain Brad was confident and helpful and our dive master Candi was extremely informative and always there to lend a helping hand. They are clearly both very experienced. As a new diver, it was nice to know I was being so well looked after. I would highly recommend them for any of your future diving needs.

Edit: I don t think it was Jason but, he was Italian I believe and he had an accent.

Where do I start. How about AMAZING!!!
We had a party of 4 and 2 were diving and 2 were snorkeling. Both sides had amazing experiences. The staff were very friendly. It was Martin and I can t remember the captains name but he s captain of the black pearl. We had Martin come snorkeling with us and helped us do a dive snorkel (just swim down to the bottom and back up). It was so fun and he even gave us some weights to help us get down once we got the technique down. It was such an amazing experience. I highly suggest this place. I wouldn t want to go anywhere else.

South Florida Diving Headquarters is a first-class diving operation who prioritizes safety. Although I am open water certified, I had not been on a dive in over 20 years. Scheduling my pool refresher and dives, from another state, was simple and hassle-free. The rental equipment was in good condition and had been serviced. Tim and Jade (his divemaster in training) were fun to hangout with and quickly knocked the rust of my diving skills. We had lots of laughs in the process. They identified my blind spots, corrected them, and helped me quickly reacclimate to the water. I was also impressed by Tim s ability to activate my diving muscle memory. Unfortunately, the weather conditions would not allow for ocean diving, but Tim utilized his ingenuity and arranged our dives in the bay. I will definitely book future dives with South Florida Diving Headquarters and I wish them good luck this season!

First time out with them. We had a great experience. The the boat deck is huge on their boat. Great crew and great reef selections. Looking forward to going back.

Went to this company for my 15 year old son s certification dives. Instructor TIm was the best!!
Crew was super friendly and great to be with on the boats!! Very attentive to their passengers!
Can t wait to come see them again in a few months!!!!

Good captain and dive master. Well organized. We Enjoyed our trip to aqua zoo and a 2nd drift dive. Reasonably priced and they coordinated well with our local Ohio dive shop for open water certification dives. I recommend.

We booked an afternoon dive and the person on phone day before seemed very nice and pleasant.but the in store associate was far from that.
The store associate was very rude and her attitude towards us as customers was very bad.
She expected us to know what to sign and where everything was just a very unpleasant trip I ended up canceling the dive after driving 2.5hrs just to go.
We were in from out of town and were referred by another dive shop and it was a definite mistake.
Will definitely not recommend or go back to them in future.

Funny how all the other places we went to had no problem with the mask even the shop that recommended you guys.
Also the document was signed and if she would of looked the first time she would have seen that and she did after I told her it was already signed.
so it s nice you want to stick up for your employees but the attitude and rudeness was all her from the start.
Not a single person in there had a mask on until we walked in and she got attitude on putting them on. So you guys do you I ll go elsewhere in the future

Had a great snorkeling session today on the Acqua View with Jade and Zoli. From the start the customer service at South Florida Diving Headquarters was phenomenal. There is parking down the road for those with a vehicle. Check in was smooth and Dave behind the desk was super friendly. Getting the equipment was quick and they made great recommendations for our gear. The boat ride was good and the crew was a blast! Took us out to the Copenhagen wreck site and shared the history with us before our dive. We also stopped at the nursery where we saw a juvenile nurse shark. Highly recommend these guys!

This is a prime example of a thriving dive shop! I have dove with them for several years during my family's annual spring break trip and they have always been professional, safe and fun! I dive alone and really appreciate their taking the time to check in on me and make sure I'm all set or pairing me up for drift dives. They work very hard and are accessible and friendly and so knowledgeable. The wrecks they dive are varied and interesting. I see the same faces year after year so their turnover must be pretty low which we all know is rare in this industry. Plus their website is great for booking. You can't go wrong here, I can't wait for next spring!

We had a great experience with these guys. Well organized, safety focused, and friendly. Captain Brad was very capable, informative, and entertaining as he expertly skippered the Black Pearl... argh! He was an expert pirate captain with only one useable hand (recovering from a ski injury. Who knew a salty sea dog could ski!) Candace is very skilled dive master. I highly recommend this crew.
