Friendly knowledgeable staff that help put you in the right gear!

Friendly & helpful staff. Highly recommend checking them out first for whatever sporting goods you need. Some of their stuff is cheaper than the box stores which is just another great reason to support them.

Loved it they had all the answers and are driven to make sure you gave a great exprience in whatever sport you choose!

I haven't had many visits to Sommerville's but my last one was fantastic. I took my bike in to get fixed and within a day or two I got a call back saying it was a little beyond what they normally service. They had already called Norco to inquire about the problem, then had called a bike shop in peterborough to let them know about my problem and finally called me to let me know where I can be helped. Rather then dinking around they got me intouch with the right channel and prepped the alternative shop on what I was bringing in. To me they saved me money, and they went beyond expected by making the calls and providing me with the numbers. Thanks so much.

Sommerville s won t win any merchandising awards, but will win on customer service and the best place to shop for sports equipment in the Cobourg and Port Hope area.
David Sommerville the owner comes across as the local yokel...but is extremely knowledgeable about bikes, hockey, baseball and lacrosse.
David s prices are some of the best that I ve seen when compared to other retailers.
The entire staff are just nice people.
I don t begrudge parting with my money when I shop there.

Easy to do buisness with, some stuff is over priced but you can find some great deals on sticks, just be aware that if you buy one cheap you have no warranty on them

Wow. What a privilege to have shop like this for bikes and sports gear here in Cobourg. If you need repairs these guys have an excellent mechanic in the back.

Bought a pair of skates that we're too small (after being told that "there's no way you're a EE" by a staff member at Pro Hockey Life) so I gave these guys a call and we made a great deal.

Best place to go for customer service, and knowledgeable employees when it comes to all sporting equipment. If they do not have what you are looking for they will get it. Our go to place for all of our sporting equipment.

Worse service ever.Was told $300 in parts to start walked out went to another bike shop cost me $60 an bike runs like new again.

Amazing knowledgeable staff, GREAT PRICES best sales prices I've ever seen on Snowboards,Boots & Bindings.
Went in for 1 Snowboard setup for my young son and left with 2 complete setups ( extra one for him when he outgrows the first one) and a board for myself.
Wish you could rate higher than 5 they deserve an extra one.
Will be back for years to come.

I had them put a new chain on my bike and I couldn't be happier with the price and service.

Awesome staff. Took tire in to have bearings looked at and promptly had it repaired.

Very friendly staff. Didn't have my size skates. They said people don't exchange as much as they do buy. So if you have stuff laying around you don't need anymore, unload on them.

Very pleased with all my purchases. Their repair shop is far above any other store in Cobourg that does this kind of thing.
