SOMETHING NEW FASHION Review

I found Something New at a local bridal show. Kristi was there, and we got to talking for about an hour! It was 14 months before the wedding date and I was worried about how soon or late I should wait to get a dress since I wanted to lose weight. First off Krisi was super positive and said that she doesn t believe brides should have to lose weight for the wedding because they are all perfect as is! I loved that. Second, she told me that dresses can take 6-9 months to be made to order and come in. Not including time for alterations! So I set an appointment with her right there to get in at her next available appointment.

At the appointment I brought my mom, mother-in-law, and grandma. Kristi made us all feel super comfortable and walked us through what the appointment would be like, and then let us go explore the dress floor! We all looked at and picked some dresses to try on. From there, it was trial and error, and talking things out with Kristi so she could make her next great recommendation. She made me laugh and feel comfortable, and amazingly I never got overly stressed at the appointment! I just had fun trying things on! It came down to two dresses, and Kristi helped me talk things out so I could figure out for myself which was THE ONE. I figured it out, and we did the fun little Say yes to the dress bit, and caught it all on video! Kristi even took the time to help walk me through what kinds of alterations their recommended seamstress could do, and give me a rough look at what it might look like. This really helped me to see the dress was me!

Flash forward to getting alterations, I was having some doubts about what I had communicated to the seamstress and felt she wasn t really listening to me. I reached out to Kristi who stepped in as a sort of middle-woman and helped communicate with the seamstress. She stressed it was important to get what I want so I can be comfortable and have exactly what I want - after all it s one special day, right? We got it all worked out and it ended up perfect!!

Let s not forget the bridesmaid appointment! I booked Kristi for that too and she was super helpful. It was a super fun experience for us and helped us narrow down what we wanted as far as color and style. We didn t end up ordering through Something New because the perfect dress ended up being from another shop, but it was still a wonderful experience and made my bridesmaids feel comfortable and excited!

If you are looking for a great, local business to support - Something New Boutique is it! All of their employees made us feel welcome, comfortable, and beautiful. I m sure all their stylists are great, but I would highly recommend Kristi if you can book with her! She knows how to keep appointments focused on the bride and dance, politely, around family members who might make comments that aren t constructive. She also focuses on body positivity which is so refreshing!

This boutique is the best. Stylist Jess is amazing, she made my daughters experience so easy. She is very patient and talented. I would definitely recommend this place.

Something New Boutique is the place to go to find a wedding dress. All of the ladies here are fantastic, your budget will be held, they don't pressure anything, AND part of the proceeds go toward a non-profit to help end human trafficking!

I joined my future daughter-in-law for what turned out to be the most special experience of choosing a bridal gown I ever seen! The boutique is exceptionally beautiful with rows of gorgeous gowns, and the staff and owner treated the bride and all of our party like queens! It was worth the trip from Tennessee to experience this unique and extraordinary shop! I highly recommend working with them for your own wedding attire needs even if it requires a plane ticket to get there!!! Wish there was a way to give them more than 5 stars!!!

Kristi Gurule is beyond words!! She took my vision and picked out the perfect dress for me. The staff and energy of this boutique is phenomenal.

As a plus size bride, I was absolutely dreading the process of finding my wedding dress. Something New Boutique made it an experience I will cherish and never forget. The moment I walked through the door I was greeted and taken to a private fitting area. I worked with Kedra who started off by getting to know me a little bit, and discussing in great detail what I had in mind for my wedding dress. Honestly, I had no idea what I wanted. I seriously have to commend Kedra and Jalen for their patience as they fitted me into several dresses and I cried and rejected dress after dress. It was very near closing time when I asked to try on one last dress I had seen earlier. At this point, the owner Mindy and several other sales assistants were all helping me in the hunt for my wedding dress. That one last dress ended up being the dress of my dreams and the entire shop was so happy for me and it was just a wonderful experience and I felt so beautiful and taken care of. I got the dress at a great price since it was National Brides Day, but even without the sale, the dresses in the shop are fantastically priced for the quality of dress you are getting. These are designer dresses. Yes, you might find cheaper dresss somewhere like David's Bridal, but I found the quality and selection to be far more superior to anything I saw in David's Bridal or any other shop in town for that matter. Combined with the overall experience of finding my dress, I would say my dress was worth every penny!!! Thank you to everyone at Something New Boutique it was an unforgettable experience.

Ask her about the proceeds from dresses that go towards women who have been rescued from trafficking in Cambodia. This shop has it all, ladies. I recommend you check it out for yourself!
