Loved this area. Only got in my car a few times because I could bike to the beach, the store, even a beautiful nature preserve and lunch. Right on a canal for easy boating and the private swimming pool was a favorite for everyone.

This review reflects the golf course only which I played on Dec 26th 2019. In short the course is in poor condition. Based on what I could find out from the internet the course was heavily damaged during Hurricane Irma which explains a lot about the condition. Only 9 holes are open but they do put 2 pins on each green so that you fire at different pins if you play 18 holes. 5 sets of tees are supposed to be available but on 2 holes I couldn't find the sets 4 &5 like they weren't set out by the greens staff. Some Tee boxes are ok. Most fairways are very patchy and are bare in places, weedy in others and soggy in others. Rough was ok, greens were very very slow and in poor condition. I don't want to be overly critical because obviously the hurricane did serious damage but this was really not worth playing. Hopefully it improves.

This was the only public full course near us, 28 miles, and we really wanted to golf on the Keys. The Pro Shop was friendly and did not charge for our non-golfer who rode on our cart. I thought the price was reasonable until we saw the course. The course is in poor condition. Stay in the fairways and it s in fair shape. Greens are fair as well. No scorecards. $45 for 9 holes and a cart per person seemed high given the conditions. The bathroom Par 3 Hole 5 had one working bathroom, the men s of course, with no toilet paper or drying towels. There are not many public courses or be prepared to drive 1 hr+. We were happy to swing our clubs though.

This course really should be completely closed while they are renovating it. My husband and a friend went there 2 days ago and it was barely playable. The course is in awful condition, yes it is open to the public but should it be? Absolutely not.

Unspeakably awful. Think of it more like a driving range where you get to go find your ball and hit it again and you will not be disappointed. Currently undergoing a renovation and it can't happen soon enough.

showed up without a tee time and was told I couldn't play, though there was no one on the course. ( played this course a few times in the past but was not thrilled with the value other then it was close by) it is 65 to play and course is in less then average condition with only 9 holes. and no improvements made that could be seen . I will never visit this course again.

Negative stars if possible! For $100 you would would/should expect a lot more from a "Country Club Golf Course".
We rented clubs, they were about 5 yrs old, in terrible shape, and did not even receive a full set.
The course in terrible shape (more sand than grass on fairways), restrooms were locked (needed a code to unlock, which we didn't receive), and there wasn't even water to drink on the course.
Save your money and go to the Par 3 Municipal Course! It's $13 ($16 to rent clubs that are just ok) and a hell of a lot better! Or better yet, go to a bar and play Golden Tee
