Love the layout and the staff is very friendly and make four a great atmosphere.

Nice course, but with leagues and tournaments it can be hard to get out.

Love this golf course. I've been multiple times even though i live up north. It has great greens and is well maintained. I highly recommend this as your Sunday pick of the week.

This is a great golf course. It s not easy but not too hard. The greens and fairways are always in good shape. They recently upgraded the golf carts to include GPS and also give you the option to order food / drinks when you re approaching the 9th hole. The price is reasonable compared to other courses in the area. The only reasons for 4 stars instead of 5 is the old man in the starter booth is always miserable. I ve never had a pleasant experience with him and they way they do tee times is terrible. You can call 48 hours ahead but even if you wake up early and call at 6am 48 hours before they won t answer the phone for hours and then tell you the tee times are booked until 10-11am. This has happened several times.

The best gift to give to your father who enjoys golfing and it s very clean secluded and enjoyable.

It's not much of a secret anymore but this course is one of the absolute best municipal golf courses. Absolutely maintained. A great challenge for any level golfer.

In as good as shape as some local country clubs. Good price for residents.
Response to person who said you can't ride carts in the parking lot, explain this, why should golf carts be driving in the same space as my truck? Dangerous. You know how many times I've almost hit drunk golfers in the lot when I'm pulling up.

For being a cheap little muni, this place is really nice. Greens roll true, but very slow, they ll catch you off guard how slow they are. Greens are firm, and fairway and rough looks very nice. Very nice, I like it! Glad I visited

You could get on this green really quickly it's not crowded and it's very inexpensive

Played here since I was 12 years old. (Living in The Villages Florida now). Always at least a decent condition. Most of the time better than average. Let's remember when we rate this course, it's run by the city. That in itself should be worth and extra star, being Sch'dy is a horrible place to be. A good test from any set of tees. Since Matt took over, he has made a great turnaround with his staff. Played in a league here for quite a few years and always enjoyed my league night. League play is slow everywhere, so it's not the courses fault. Dave and June do a great job with the bar and the food is always outstanding. Looked forward to getting my Chicken Caesar wrap every Wednesday. They don't have a lot to work with in that old building, but they have made it work. Dave and June know how to treat customers and really I can't say enough about them and the business.

Great course and reasonably priced. Tee boxes on most of the 3 pars were rebuilt last year and now the parking lot is being redone.

Great course, staff and rates...best value in the Capital District.

The best municipal golf course in the area. They just made capitol upgrades to the course with new riding carts which have GPS in there. Course is extremely well kept and greens are sometimes speedy.

There's is a practice range but it's irons only, no driver. Large putting greens to manage short game practice.

In response to Ryan Kent, we do not take the phone off the hook and we don't start taking tee times until 7 am which is why you are having difficulty getting someone prior to that. Typically, the phone stays active in the first hour each day we take tee times so yes, by 10 or 11 am, many of the tee times are gone for the day you are looking for. So to state the policy and be clear, we accept tee times two days in advance starting at 7 am, (7:30 in the Fall Season) and accept walk ups at 6 am. Season Pass holders may call 3 days days in advance however, we only reserve 12 tee times for them in which case, once that allotment has been filled, they must adhere to the rules of the general public.

My best friend's daughter's baby shower was held here, and not only was it fantastic but the service was great as well as was the food! Simply fantastic.

Terrific renovations, new carts. Course in great condition

Hated the parking arrangement, I am handicap and I found it a lousy idea to pet it on the opposite side of the lot. Plus if you just wanted to eat, they force you to walk a bit to far for someone who can't walk very well!

The new golf carts with GPS in them the greens are running true and smooth and the fairways are very nice and manicured and the course has come a long ways in the last 2 years

Carts are awesome. GPS & USB on board. Can't take carts into parking lot which is a little strange.

Lot of construction and noise. Will not return soon. Not right to charge full rate when three tee boxes are under construction.
