Boy this place has it all wrong!

Boy this place has it all wrong!

The candy is overpriced, the food is trash, the milkshakes are soup. I cannot find the words to describe my dissatisfaction with this place. The only thing I ve had from here that I ve enjoyed is the Empanadas that some local restaurant was selling, and even then it wasn t worth the price ($10 for 2 empanadas and some bland rice).

I order my food, wait at least 10-15 minutes longer than it reasonably takes to make a panini, and when it comes to, the server (henceforth known as The Slapper ) slaps it on the counter like a sack of bricks. It was such a mess, I had to eat the panini a sandwich I might remind you out of the bag with a fork and knife. Unbelievable.

The food is either scalding hot when it arrives, or already too cold. Either way, there s no reliable way to predict when your food arrives, as half of the staff can be seen aimlessly wandering around. The servers are careless and the cashiers look like they ve been lobotomized.

The icing on the proverbial cake (and a cake laced with arsenic and raw sewage at that) is the time I ordered a Tiger Tracks Sundae. To the credit of the Sol s Underground Staff, the sundae itself was delicious. The only bone I have to pick is in the abhorrent service. Five, ten, fifteen minutes go by, with no ice cream in sight. At the 20 min mark, my friend told me to ask someone. Upon questioning the lady in charge, I discovered that they had no record of such order, despite the fact I had a receipt to prove my purchase. I watched, dumbfounded, as the untrained employee struggled to assemble a sundae.

In the end, Sol s Underground is, as they say in the old country, a steaming hot plate of garbage. They lack the work ethic, staff experience, and resources to provide a reasonable and fullfilling experience for the customer. I d like to offer advice to the management, but I have no idea where to start.

P.S. Jaser is the only employee worth keeping, perhaps even promoting. I don t know this other guy s name, but he referred to me as my sir as he handed me my wrap, a bold move that humbled me and made me feel important all at once.
