I have literally applied for assistance twice. The first time it took almost four months for them to approve me for two months. I do property management and think they are suspicious seeing my name due to my name being on some of my tenants paperwork. The second time they mailed my check to the old landlord and it has now been over a month since she s mailed it back and they are taking my new landlord through the ringer. She has yet to receive the check. They received what they needed months ago but as a stall tactic, they asked my landlord for a copy of her lease at her place if residence! She s not the one applying. Does that even make sense? I m to the point of calling the news. They don t answer the phones and will reply to your email three weeks after you ve sent yours.

Trying to find out what's going on with my application. I've received another notice. Now I'm scared. How long is the intake process I don't understand email regarding forms I've given hardship form

I took someone else there, they said it kinda helpful.

Unfortunately, there was no real structure to the process. & the communication factor amongst employees is flawed .An the level of professionalism could definitely be improved. Considering people are coming there in search of alternative and in need of understanding and assistance .

Very very slow service even when there's only two people waiting. Still takes at least one hour!! Plan ahead everyone!!

3 security guards at entrance. All polite. Temperatures taken. Sign in required. Social distancing. Wide range of community services. Offices on North and Southsides of town.

I thank sdc for assiting me with the rental help i needed.It was a challenging process but the staff was very friendly and patient with me and willing and able to assit me with the application. This has really made a difference in my familys life ,i was worried ,stressed,and depressed and i was praying. Im thankful greatful and feeling blessed .Once again thanks to the staff thats assiting people with there applicantions for being very professional ,understanding,and ready to help and assit the community.

Staff is very helpful, when trying to do your taxes. if you have a problem standing up.
They will assist you help you out. Because when the chairs is to low and I need help. One of the security personnel came over and help me.
Because I couldn't stand to properly due to a fall on my knees.
I have been going there for a while to over to SDC on North Avenue. And got nothing but good help from the staff.
And I hoped they continue the program as the can in the community.
It's a pleasant place to go.
