I called to set up an intake session appointment, but they didn't have any openings until June 2nd.
I am unable to wait two weeks, and had mentioned the urgency.
Upon hearing the nearest available date, I responded with "I am sorry but I may have to try another service."
I was immediately hung up on.
I was surprised to be treated rudely by the behavior of the receptionist at a behavioral health clinic.
Perhaps she should set up an appointment for herself...

*Edit: I feel I should mention that had she let me finish my sentence, I would have let her know that they were my first choice, and that I intended to call back to set up an appointment on the 2nd if I was unable to find anything sooner.
