Went to renew passport on weekend. Quite fast and efficient. From 830am take number and collect passport around 945am. Total less than 1.5hours. Not bad.

Went for a drink during lunchtime. Pretty crowded place. Parking is limited. LRT across the road is a smarter option.

Arrived at 10.30am on Wednesday and it's closed!!! Only open from 1pm onwards!! What kind of services???

I'm a foreigner and I don't do much business here. But first impression: this is the 'civilized' part of the whole keramat mall. The space is clean, bright, and less dusty compared to the rest of the place.
The mini UTC shop is small (well, it's mini afterall), but the price is the best.
There's library across the shop if you want to read or work while waiting for services.
We can walk through the bridge on the same level to get to LRT Damai.

Official all Utc stated open at 8AM but this branch for immigration open at 8:30AM take note. Also do remember to wear darker color shirt since the photo shooting background is white.

This place is a very nice place! The items are chaep. And the doctors there are so kind and nice. Plus the fee is almost free. But the building is too old and dirty. I hope there will be a refurbishment to this building!

JPJ service here is excellent here. 5 counters open out of 6. The executive also served with good attitude and manner. JPN service aslo fast.

Very good services under one roof almost all government agencies are there

Plenty of seats due less crowd. All the essential government departments are here for passport, identity card and driving license.

RENEW PASSPORT
Thursday. Got here at 11.05am. Kaunter 8 for number (1111) by 11.14am, couldn't really tell which number they were serving cos it was jumping but looked like 1102. Anyway by 11.38am was my turn and photo all done within 10mins. Next was payment done by 12.02pm (cash only!!). Waited to collect within the next hour. Can have lunch or snacks in the next building connected. Passport done by 12.57pm. Staff all very friendly, helpful and would speak in Bahasa Malaysia or English whatever you prefer. Good job keep it up!

Went on Sunday morning to renew passport, settle within 1.5h, efficient!! Gonna arrive early to avoid crowd.

7.30am Arrive utc, queue for number
8.00am Counter open, take number (mine is no. 15)
8.20am Thumb print, take photo
8.25am Make payment
8.50am Collect passport

Personally feel that UTC Keramat has lesser crowd on weekend compare to sentul & pudu.

Decided to go there to renew my Identification Card on Sunday. They finished it very quickly in under half an hour when it s not crowded. I m very happy with the service.

It's easy to deal with government departments here.

Arrived at 9.30am on Saturday morning to renew passport. Fortunate enough to get number 1188. At 9.30am they were calling 1035.

Finally called my number 1188 at 1.30pm. Made payment at 1.50pm. Collected passport at 2.30pm.

They had 6-7 counters open for taking photos, but at 1pm, only 2 were open as the rest went for lunch break.

Lots of gerai for local food while waiting. Please come early by 7.30am on weekends if you want to get done by lunch time!

Reached there on a Friday morning at around 11.20am to renew my passport. Within half an hour I got my passport renewed. Wow! And the officers are very friendly and helpful.

Today Saturday, reach utc Keramat around 9.15am, renew the passport ~ take photo ~payment ~collection at 10.50am. Thank you UTC, safe me a lot of time

come here for two times , firstly for checking my wisdom tooth and second one to get a letter to hospital for mini surgery because they cant do it there. packed but still have a place to sit, the front desk staff all nice and efficient roughly waiting around 1 hour and half but im happy with the service.

Renew passport at Immigration during weekend which was very crowded. You need to take number outside the office (at 1serve counter). Long queue even before 8am. Anyway overall is smooth.

Went there on Thursday afternoon to renew passport. All done in 1 hour by efficient and polite staff. Am really impressed with the service.

When to replace IC due to chip damage. Cost RM10. Service was ok. Waiting time reasonable. Reach at 12.45pm. IC done 2.30pm. Then renew driving license. All done in less than 30min For Malaysian citizen RM30 and for PR RM60 for each year. For ramadan, JPJ operate until 4.30pm only. Plus the facilities not bad. Surau, library window shopping. I have 3 years old boy myself. He enjoyed the library. All and all it was a good experience. Good job to all staff even though its Sunday

love the cheap local food at the food court. One stop for immigration, police, government medical clinic and dentist. The clothes tailors are cheap and reliable. Easily accessible by lrt.

Get up at the counter at 4pm. Passport renewal affairs up to 5.53pm. He said the passport will be ready to print 6.53 pm (an hour). But when back at 6.55 is closed. The rest said. Please come back at 8 pm. Yess, it's a joke for the kingdom. Likes very much

I brought my girlfriend to apply her very 1st passport on 14th Oct 2016(Friday) at UTC Keramat after our office hour.
Here is our experience :
8pm - We reached the building and found a parking spot easily (FREE parking)
8:11pm - Got a Nombor giliran from the information counter
8:20pm - Number being called, took photo and submitted documents to the friendly officer
8:34pm - Payment made at another counter
8:54pm - TADA! A new passport
Everything is done within an hour! We didn't expect to get the passport so soon! Oh ya, if you happen to have an empty stomach while you are waiting for your number being called, you can grab a meal just outside the office, there are a few gerai-gerai selling food and other thing, don't worry, you can still hear your number being called even you are outside the office, they have speakers built around the building :)
I highly recommend this place to everyone!

P/S: Of course, please prepare all needed personal documents before the application, it will help making the process even faster!

A lot of government branch here
But I did not expect it takes from 11am to 3pm to process a passport

UTC Keramat open 1 to 10 weekday, 8 to 5 weekend.
Same with UTC Shah Alam.

But different with UTC Pudu and Sentul which open 8 to 5 weekday and weekend.

If want to apply new or renew pasport at Immigration, please come early. Nombor giliran limited, always finish within 2 hours of opening.

I m impressed! The entire process including waiting and collection completed within an hour.

Fantastic services. Totally the opposite experience I had 5 years back when I renew my passport. Was there at 7.45 and the counter open at 8.00 and after 5 minutes, awaiting payment and collection. Well done.

Efficient service if come for renewing passport. Be aware of the opening & resting & closing time. Please don t ware short for both male & female. Well, actually it s applies on every government office.

One stop centre for UTC...came here to renew passport and IC. The service is very fast and we can do other things while waiting to complete the errands since they also have other government agencies in this building.

Location wise, UTC Keramat Mall is conviniently located nearby Damai LRT Station and connected to the Station via a pedestrian bridge.

It would be best if they can have some banking facilities here, especially ATM machines.

Got my passport and driver's license done in under an hour. Fast, courteous service.

Thank you and congratulations to the Keramat UTC Immigration Department. Passport renewal process is ready in less than 1 hour. I took the number 8 at night, and took a new passport at 8.55 pm. The process is clear, smooth and fast.

Friendly, Fast and Efficient! It took me an hour to renew, pay and collect my passport. Even though today is the first day of Ramadan, the pegawai still work in a professional manner. Respect and Thumbs up!

The mini Immigration dept very efficient. Maintaining consistent operations 5 of the 6 photo booth throughout. Staffs are courteous and helpful. You have to get your number at a counter outside the immigration office. Better to take mrt to this mini utc that is located in a mall. Just walk to the building which is just opposite the road from Damai station. The mall is a bit run down though.

Renewed my passport during the Rmco period. Made an online appoint for 8 am, was the first one there and received my passport within 30 mins.

Located 100m away and connected via a pedestrian bridge to Damai LRT Station. Well places directions from the station to the office.

Immigration officers were very friendly and efficient. Great overall experience!

The imigresen staff is doing their best, they explain everything clearly. They r working on sunday and long hours . Good job

1 star for fast service, 1 lg for better explaination orgnye kt counter 7..1 star lg for smile 0 star for the same address even though it was changed 2 years ago..0 stars for pure explaination at the first sight counter 4.

Saturday a lot people 8.30am arrived until estimated 1pm only can collect the passport counter close 12pm due all number have given out

Qued at 8am for number. Got no 6 at 825am. 1st call at 835am to hand old passport and IC. 2nd call 845am to pay. 3rd call at 915am to collect new passport. Process was excellent, speedy. Not crowdy as at 920am. Observed that there was no priority service for senior citizens like me. Everyone treated the same!

Reach here on Saturday 7.30am, got number 1008, office opens at 8am, waited 5 mins till my turn, took photo and made payment. After 40 can collect passport, super efficient, done in less than an hour if u reach here early for the number. Kudos!!

Sistem down. Do nothing only.. Switch rosak dont ask people to do maintaince. Reached at utcSentul 3:30pm. Hurry go to utc keramat. Also not able go in said because too many ppl come over they stop the ticket. Staff only 3 at counter on weekend. Good one! Because need you as Govt thing!!

My experience renewing my passport on a Saturday morning:

9.45am ambil nombor giliran (there were already about 120++ people before me still waiting for their turn for the next step)
12pm ambil gambar & tanda tangan borang
12.23pm bayar yuran
1.45pm ambil passport
> 4 hours!!!

Took much longer than I expected. I came here expecting it to take ~1.5hr max after reading all the (mostly positive) reviews here. But there there you go... spent twice as long just waiting for my turn... Not sure whyyyy considering all the good reviews I ve read/heard...regarding UTC Keramat being the most efficient amongst all immigration offices.

Anyway by the time i was collecting my passport I noticed some people tak boleh ambil nombor dah. Sebab dah reach limit. Soooo yeah better to come early.

My advice:
- Do it online if you can. Just search about the procedures etc. You d save so much timee.
- Take the lrt if it s convenient for you. Parking space here is very limiteddd i spent 15mins making rounds just looking for a spot.
- Ladies wearing hijab, other than making sure your tudung is dark, remember to pull it back far enough to fully show your eyebrows. Lol. I was told by the officer to fix my tudung right at the counter before he let me get my photo taken. Wowsies. Okay sure. I just wish I knew this beforehand.

Cheap eateries & tailors. Reasonably clean. Government agencies in one roof (JPN, Immigration, JAWI), klinik 1 malaysia & kedai rakyat 1 malaysia. Also has a mini library and a youth center.

Good place to settle your business involving government bodies. There's a mini library to keep your young ones entertain too. Parking is a little bit limited, recommends using LRT since the station is near.

government affairs such as licenses, ic, pages. religion, taxes ... one stop center that appeals to and facilitates the public. It is also close to the Peace LRT station

This is easy to find via damai lrt station. Not bad.

If you are going to make your passport during the night (8 - 10 pm), make sure you come early and queue by 715pm. Only 30 tickets are available for the people to proceed with immigration process

6/10/19 Sunday arrived 7.45am before counter opened at 8am already long queue. 8.30am got number 81. They have limited numbers a day. 10am counter for number already close. By 10.30am they called me for picture and 10.45am for payment. Collected my passport at 11.30am. Almost 4 hours to get a passport. The process was smooth all counter open and all officers nice to entertain just too many crowds on weekend. If possible pls avoid weekend. They have free parking you need to come early because parking quite limited.

Their service efficient, first time here no waiting for too long, just need to queue for number. Give them likes

Arrived around 7.10am on Sunday, get number 1008 at 7.57am. I got problem with my fingerprint but successfully completed renewal and got my new passport at 8.50am. I think it's the fastest government immigration office in Malaysia. Thumbs up! By the way, the parking area next to Mini UTC was closed and under construction. You may park your car in the limited spaces at the opposite side of UTC, which near the Damai Lrt station. (RM4 per entry if I 'm not mistaken.) Remember to bring all your documents, otherwise the officer will not give you a number.

Parking spaces is hard to find.. A lot of jewellery store here..

All administration matters cannot be done here ... only the facilities are not maintained

Looks old but had a great lunch at the food court. If you're in this neighbourhood, drop by for breakfast or lunch.
