BEWARE! This company admittedly took advantage of our business and didn't set up our account as promised. A year later we refused payment and they promised to fix the account credit the back amount and bill our obligation forward. We thought that was great! Instead they had a company call pretending to do an asset investigation for a potential legal award for the back money! I called and paid these people and would still be with them if they had kept their end of the bargain. Find another procurement registry. These people are shady! Check the BBB and reviews online!
Service makes it easy to find and qualify leads and to access documents that would otherwise take great effort to acquire through FOIA requests. My only issue is that not all municipal entities in my geography have PO info listed.
UPDATE: I was called by the VP of the company on July 17 2018 and he took care of the situation. He listened to the problem and said he will take care of it and refund me the money. I think they have a great product. While it wasn t the right fit for me at the moment, I think many businesses can benefit from it and if used right it can generate a significant amount of business. Original Post: they refuse to refund me $400 after i canceled my service within 2 hours of signing up. a sales rep named Tommy Lopez contacted me on July 6 2018. said he wants me to see the GovSpend platform from SmartProcure for businesses that could get my business more sales from government job opportunities. he spent an hour on the phone with me trying to sell me on it. he presented it in a very attractive way and got me to sign a contract for $400 a month for the term of 12 months. about an hour after the call i realized i made a mistake signing with them because my business cannot afford this expense at this time. i called back saying i would like to cancel the contract and close the account. they said they will be contacting me in the next day and then stretched it out over a week. the accounting department finally called me on July 16 2018, and said they will cancel the contract but will NOT refund the initial $400 paid. i asked them why are they keeping my hard earned money after they are canceling the contract and they said that the reason is "you signed the contract, sorry". there is no justification to take my money because i was sold on a service that i cannot afford. i did not use the service at all and would like to resolve this in a nice way. i would like to get a $400 refund. i didn't use the service and there is no reason for them to keep the money. they didn't provide me with any services.
This is a phenomenal product and a simply outstanding company. Dave in sales worked with our budget and timeline - without his help, we couldn't have pulled it off. Misty conducted our onboarding training; she is FABULOUS. Smooth, perfect speed, very professional, really knows her products. Quinn is our rep, and he has been quick to tend to our needs; he's an excellent trainer as well. HIGHLY recommended company - the customer service is remarkable.
Marina with SmartProcure has been great to work with! Always available to assist, if its creating searches or providing tips to narrow a search. She's also kept me posted with the ever changing software updates. SmartProcure listens to their clients and makes appropriate enhancements to their product which allows easier and more productive searches for the end-user.
Half of these reviews must be fake, this is a scam company. They buy data from government agencies (that is free information anyways) and resell it and scam people. Don't buy, horrible product and it doesn't even pull up the full or right data they make it look all nice in the demonstration then pressure you to buy it. Scam.
Since we have started using Smart Procure in October 2015, we have generated a handful of leads, a few of them have even turned in to sales. We are using Smart Procure to seek out new opportunities, as well as gather further contact information about our current customers. The customer service staff is incredibly helpful and easy to work with. My only complaint is the speed at which the information downloads. There is a lot of lag and often takes a while for information to load. Overall experience has been good.
I thought the webinar presented by Misty Wilmore was very well done and very helpful.
We have been using Smart Procure for approx. 3 years. It is well worth the money. We have been able to find new business opportunities every week. Penny Gillespie is my rep and she has walked me through every aspect of the program, even setting up search terms for me since I am on the road constantly. Outstanding company, outstanding rep!!
They try to lock you into long term contracts. There records are not no where as good as they put on. They don't fulfill things promised. Please don't fall for this scam.
SmartProcure and the SmartProcure team have a great product. Excellent service/tool to identify who and where your product and competing product is being utilized. Excellent portal to create searches specific to your market.
Terrible scamming company to work for. Still owe me a $50 dollar paycheck. It s not the money, it s the principal, do not trust them when it comes to business or employment.

SmartProcure has helped us know exactly what price our competitors are selling product for and has allowed us to get back into accounts that we haven't been able to penetrate. SmartProcure gives us just what we need when we sit down with our customers during our planning meetings because we know what they have purchased from both us as well as our competitors. This is a great tool for any sales department.
We started using Smart Procure to compare our pricing w/ our competitors. This gave us a competitive edge when bidding and responding to government RFP's. Our Client Services Manager has always been available for any questions or issue that I have. There is a lot of information with the entities that is available quickly on their website. I've recommended this to our distributors as well.

Hello, I completely agree with all the positives reviews I ve seen about this place, I was hire in this great company as a blessing living my job as in a restaurant. They always take care god their employees, realizing Meetings with lot of Breakfasts. Even after my accident Mr. Cagnina has been saving a place to me to come back whenever I m ready to work again. I have make a great friendships there with all the employees such Amy, Danick, Erick C., Jose R and more in the DIA department. I assure you this blessed company with support you no matter what.

SmartProcure has been great to work with. My CSM, Aly, is so legit you would think she created the system herself. They work hard to make sure you can see where your business is going, and help you plan to get it back.
I would not recommend anyone applying for a job with this company. First thing first their product is a scam. You can find all this information freely, nothing proprietary about it. I applied for a job with this flunky company, which was a 3 step process. However, I got a silly email from them stating they re going with another candidate aka with someone they can pay way less money and extract them for all their energy. This company will not be around for long mark my words.
SmartProcure is a good prospecting tool to use and relatively reasonably priced. The service support person (Misty) is outstanding and really cares about her customers. Good experience overall and would recommend them.

These guys are spammers and phishers of Government Contract data. Do not respond to their emails, else you will get marketing blasted and possible contract dismissal.

You kind of expect that if you're going to go on a cruise and you're going to deal with people that try to push timeshares or do different things for you to schedule in vacations you just kind of have your expectations ready of what you're going to deal with they didn't bother me any it's just their job
