A lot of helpful people, the salesman was very honest on what I already thought. "Have more money modifying a chainsaw then buying the right one." I would like to give them a lot of business, but I was just stopping by as I live an hour away.

Wanted to buy here, to support a locally owned small business and bypass big box stores such as home depot and Lowes......but man, they made it tough to follow through. Its a 2 star instead of a 1 star only because I think they have potential. But the customer service for non-regular customers is lacking.................at best. Act as if you want to help people, not as if its an obligation.

These guys are so good at repairs and helping one get what they actually need. The selection of "toys for men" is outstanding and they help with any and all questions.

This is one of favorite stores to visit. Lots of "big-boy" toys and outdoor tools - from the top brands. They have friendly, knowledgeable service. Whenever I've had questions or problems with something, they can tell me exactly what to do to fix it. They also offer expert service for machinery on-site. If you are interested in outdoor tools or machinery from brands like Echo or Stihl, this is the best place to go in Lincoln.

Brian was very helpful. He took the time to evaluate my situation for moving snow and recommend the best snow blower for my needs. He also took the time to explain all the features, starting/shutdown/operating procedures and instructions for proper care of the engine. I highly recommend this business.

Met with Tim about a carburetor issue on my Troy-Built lawn mower. I went in to get parts and he gave great advice. Had a laugh with the guy and that's all it took for me to wanna come back again.

Always fast, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable staff regardless of who you speak with. They always have parts or equipment that I need or want in stock. Even though they are the only Exmark dealer in town they do not act or treat you like it. YUUGE selection of Exmark, Toro, Echo and Stihl.

I needed a small idler wheel spring for my Toro snowblower and they had it. Very friendly and efficient transaction!

I've been using Small Engine Specialists for 16 years. I've bought equipment and parts, and had service / repairs done in their shop (an Exmark riding mower, Stihl chainsaws and string trimmers, and Toro push mower). They provide me with free advice. They don't make me feel stupid for how poorly I treat my equipment. They have been candid about the pros and cons of different machines I've considered purchasing. The replacement parts are high quality and the prices over the counter are about the same as online, but with the advantage of being able to examine and compare in person before spending a dime. Every time I walk in the door they make me feel welcome, treat me like a friend (whether they recognize me or not) and I leave knowing more about my equipment, plus I feel good about the money I spend there, and I'm not a person that likes spending money.

These folks were great! Been to other shops in town but none compared with the selection of new equipment and the knowledge of the staff. Best outdoor power equipment shop in town hands down!

Trip was initially a disaster but these guys are old fashioned good people and kept going until they made things right.

I purchased a toro mower here for home use as opposed to home depot. So happy with the customer service. They assembled it, filled with oil and gas, and sent in warranty information. Made the whole process so easy.
