I had my gallbladder taken out a couple of months ago and the procedure was peformed at Nebraska Surgery Center. I was very impressed with the staff and care I received before, during and after the procedure. They were very accommodating - they explained everything very well to myself and my husband - and they followed up after the surgery as well to check in with me. I highly recommend them!
I got insulted by 2 nurses for crying in pain and having a panic attack. One called me a big baby and annoying while the other laughed and agreed, they both stood over me while I couldn't breathe, or talk for that matter. Everyone else was nice, they should have given me a drink when I asked an hour before they brought me one and they should have had my dad in there when I woke up like I requested before so I wouldn't have such a bad panic attack. Definitely one star, you guys need to check your attitudes before you talk to patients with PTSD.
The office manager there is a very unkind person. She cancelled my surgery because I didn't have proof that I had someone to stay with me for 24hrs. I did but she said they had to come there to sign papers when I had someone to take me to their home. My nurse and doctor were very compassionate.
Probably the best experience before and after surgery that I have ever had. It s really relaxing hearing the Christian music playing in the background. It felt safe and they made sure it stayed that way. Best nurses and doctors I could have ever asked for.
My husband s procedure was moved up from 9am to 6:30 am with less than 18 hours notice. The change was done by the Surgery Center without giving my husband s gastroenterologist advance notice of the change in schedule and his office manager told us that they would not have approved this change if they had been notified in advance. This resulted in my husband getting very little sleep that night and I too was very sleep deprived when I had to drive him to the facility. We are both seniors and don t have anyone available to help us with transportation on such short notice. We did not have any issues with his physician, the anesthesiologist or medical support staff - they were all very professional. But we will not be returning to this facility. Lincoln has many other excellent options for this type of medical service.
I had a routine screening colonoscopy here, and couldn't have been more impressed by the entire staff, from the person who greeted me to all of the people involved in the procedure. This is a high-caliber facility that I would readily return to.
Excellent and caring staff. There was plenty of communication and I felt cared for before, during, and after my procedure.
The surgeon was good but the nurses were not all good and we waited two hours before the operation. After the operation, my daughter took her bed and sat on the chair and was in great pain. We did not expect to go out within half an hour after the operation.
My 6 yr old needed her arm re-set after a fracture. They were helpful and kind. And the reception area had worship music playing which created a sense of peace for my wife and I. Great experience with compassionate staff.
