Did an RBC intake manifold swap on my 2012 civic si and immediately regretted trying to do it without having an appointment to get it tuned the next day. I tried throwing a flashpro base map on for a short time until it could get tuned, but it was not enough. So I called up SloMo and they set me up for 1 week later. I still could not drive my car without fear of causing more problems, so they let me come in 6 days earlier to get a propped base map thrown on. And to top it off, they contacted me and told me they had availability open 4 days before my original appointment to properly tune my car!
They did a great job with the tune, and still keep in contact with me to make sure I like how it runs and to bring it back in if I have any concerns or small tweaks. Great people, great atmosphere, and I will always come back.

I do the landscaping and also own a civic. Love pullin up and seein all the sick projects. Cant wait till i can get to do business and maybe H22 swap my ek coupe

Slowmotion helped me with my 15 wrx. Not only are they one of the only shops in the area able to do a walnut blast service, I decided to get all my performance mods and tune through them as well. Car sounds and feels absolutely insane. Would highly reccomend these guys for anyone in the central Ohio area. The prices are inline with what others charge, and the work is excellent. They go above and beyond to make sure everything is done right. I had a complete rebuild done on my 2015 STI and they talked me through the whole process. They recommended parts to meet my power goals and budget (which I blew anyway, because mor powa). Great communication and people. My STI makes 470 to the wheels and is driven daily. These guys (and girls) know their stuff! I'm very happy to be part of the Slowmotion family.

Hands down great people always willing to work with you and go the extra mile to help i have came in multiple times with diffrent problems and they always steered me in the correct direction. One time i had trouble and they worked all day trying to retime and tune it was up to about 800 dollars in labor but because i brought in a car with extra problems they let me slide on the work and even gave me a great deal on getting my car back on the road again. Corey is one of the best honda ecm tuners in the state and i have many friends who can vouch for him. They do quality work and stand by it if you have trouble

Great group of guys, always stand by their work. very knowledgeable, and very helpful! they tuned my old wrx with good numbers and still reliable, then i bought Coreys old sti, and it puts down great power but still has great drive ability.I have seen some amazing cars built by slowmotion and none of which have problems, unless its a driver error lol. Bryan and Corey are the best tuners around in my opinion! All and all it is a great shop with very experienced guys. I promise you wont be a guinea pig. They really know what they are doing. Thanks again guys for all you have done for me and for the future work you do on my car!!

Had an Invidia exhaust installed by these folks on my 2018 Honda Type R. I had talked to a few standard muffler shops and none of them seemed really hip on going a full exhaust on this car as it also involved a front pipe. I stumbled upon these local folks via an internet search and found they have been around for years in the Honda/WRX/EVO tuning and performance business. Their reviews were sky-high, and after talking to them I knew this was the right place.
Everyone there from the front office/counter folks to the actual installation and tuning techs, know their business. Several of these people race or track their cars regularly.
I can't recommend them highly enough!

These guys are awesome! They are extremely helpful and very knowledgeable about the products they sell and their work is top quality. Mandi and Corey went above and beyond helping me with my civic build. I would definitely recommend them to anybody needing Any kind of work done to their car.

Best performance shop in Ohio. The service is excellent. I haven't met a single person there that I wouldn't trust with my WRX. The mechanical knowledge is tremendous, and the work is always to the best quality possible. Even if it takes a little extra time, they will make sure your car is done right. Specifically, Drew, Jack, and Corey provide a welcoming, friendly, and personal atmosphere that makes the experience enjoyable and comfortable from a customer standpoint. They advise without judging, and take pride in making the customer feel like "one of the guys". I would recommend Slowmotion to anyone, and I wouldn't take my car anywhere else.

Full machine shop in house and injector cleaning service for those of us running E85

Took my Honda to these guys with a fuel injection issue. I had upgraded my Honda from DPFI fuel injection to MPFI. Basically going from 2 to 4 injectors. A reasonably easy conversion but, the car was not running well. On the phone SLOW MOTION assured me they could help. Saying "we cut our teeth on honda". So I thought okay let them have at it, they are the professionals... right???

I tow my honda to them from 80 miles away. Drop my car off and gave them plenty of info about the car. They said they were busy but would look at it ASAP.

2 weeks later I get a call that they spent 4 hours working on the car. The guy on the phone did not seem to be able to answer most of my questions. He did however tell me "my ecu wires didn't match up" whatever that means???

He went on to say that to get my car running right I would need to have them install a
hondata s100
boomslang OBD0>OBD1 jumper harness
ECU chip,
honda OBD1 P06 ECU
OBD1 distributor
OBD1 distributor connectors
install distributor, set timing
and dyno time.

All at a grand total of $2000......

I told them NO WAY, they knew I was on a budget and only had $2800 invested into the entire car. No way in hell was I going to pay them $2000....
So I said ill come get it don't do anything further. I pick up the car and pay my bill of $385. When I got the car home I do some investigating. I see they have poked around and soldered a few wires, and played with my distributor adjustment. Other then that the car was untouched...It doesn't exactly take 4 hours to do that little bit of work.
I figured if nothing else they at least adjusted my timing belt that they had informed me was incorrectly installed. Unfortunately the paper work from slow motion said nothing about the timing belt having been "adjusted". I call them up just to find out they didn't even adjust the timing belt. NO.. no... they just take the timing belt cover off and confirm my belt is screwed up but don't bother to fix the thing....

So to sum things up SLOW MOTION DID BASICALLY NOTHING AND CHARGED ME $385.

I ended up fixing my car myself NO professional mechanic needed. I adjusted the timing belt, set timing, and swapped out my PM6 ecu for a new one...Now my car runs GREAT...So i guess I didn't need all that expensive crap SLOW MOTION wanted me to buy.....lol

I have a twin turbo system on my 01 Corvette and needed assistance. I called all around my home town and couldn't get anyone to help. One of them recommended Slowmotion Motorsports in Sunbury Ohio. I didn't have any other option but boy I'm glad they told me about them. I called and immediately after explaining the issue I was having, Jack said "We can definitely help you!". I can't tell you how awesome that felt after so many told me they couldn't. I had a great experience and the customer service was over and above expectations. Jack was the consummate professional who took care of all my needs. The prices were fair and the work was top of the line.

Year Two Update: Returning back to Slowmotion in spring of 2019 for a few check ups and I am still just as happy as the first time they helped build and tune my 03 Evo. Due to their touch, the car has run flawless every time for close to 20k miles now! The whole team is helpful in parts, service, and overall knowledge in the vehicles they work with. I owe it to them to the MANY fun times I have been able to have in my car!

(Spring 2018) I was very satisfied with my entire experience with Slowmotion Motorsports! They came highly recommended, and the work provided for me was of the best quality! I was treated much more than just a customer as well, and felt like a member of the team and would trust no one else but them to help me in the future! From the start of my planning the team was there to recommend varioius performance parts and explained why they were used and gave advice with the work I had completed before handing the rest to them. From there I was given updates consistently and the work was done right as expected and spot on the budget! The Slowmotion team will be who I trust from here on out with any performance needs!

Ive had a lot of problems with my car as far as getting it fixed the proper way and getting it to run again. But after slowmotion got my hands on my car, not only was I impressed with the way my car ran. (ran like new) but i have confidence in my car now. The entire staff is amazing, super fun people that are nice and make you feel welcome. I vouch for only this shop. I've had experiences at other shops. They just want the money, Well slowmotion is totally different. They want you to feel safe and happy with your car!!!!

Corey, Jack, and the guys at Slowmotion are great. I set a tuning appt. roughly three weeks in advance, and the entire process ended up going very smoothly. All of the guys were very friendly, and it felt like hanging out with friends more than a business transaction.

Corey did a great job with my Hondata tune, making close to 600 whp on C16. He answered all of my questions, and made sure I was happy before we ended the session.

I would recommend Slowmotion to anyone in Cincinnati or Columbus looking for a professional tuning experience for Honda/Mitsu/Subaru etc.

Drew, Corey, and Jack are some of the greatest tuners and mechanics I know. They are always there for their clients, and go above and beyond in making projects and dreams come true.

Called for price on 1 or 2JZ+R154 swap for my SC300. The guy who picked up the phone sounded really polite and promised to get back to me shortly and now three months later, nothing.

Met Drew selling tires on Craigslist. Told him I would be late to meet him cuz I was having trouble replacing plugs on Legacy GT. I joked and asked if he knew anything about replacing the plugs - little did I know that he worked at SM!. In selling the tires, we talked about my plans to modify the intake and exhaust. He told me what I needed and what to save my money on. I followed his advice an did the intake/exhaust myself and took it to SM for tune. During Tune #1 we found head gasket leak from previous owner accident. Drew gave us great price to repair the damage (gaskets, timing belt, water pump, new fan, replaced head dowels, etc, etc.) After Tune #2 we were good to go. Car runs and sounds AWESOME! Drew, Mandi, Corey and staff are all GREAT!

My experience was as good or better than all of the good reviews I have read or listened to in person. This team really knows their stuff! They were more interested in guiding me to the components that work, not the most expensive. Their quote was dead on and they kept me updated with the progress and even finished earlier than I had requested. Highly recommended!

Great shop they know what they're doing. They are really good with customers. They are good with communication with the customer on letting them know what's being done. Overall I recommend getting your work done by them.

I left a negative review because at the time I was frustrated with my car and was not aware that Slowmotion is mainly an import shop. Drew reached out to me on Facebook and we had a very long conversation, which quite frankly blew my mind. I totally did not expect for him to take the time out of his day to message back and forth on facebook for as long as we did. What a great guy! And I apologize for the negative review.

Slowmotion is the place to go for anything from tuning, to block builds, down to a simple oil change. The friendliness of the staff can t be beat and the quality, time and effort put into each project will amaze you. Domestic or import, bring your car here because they do amazing work. My 2015 WRX is making strong, reliable power with their tune on it!

I've been coming to this shop for almost 3 years now and all I can say is to look no further. The very first time I stepped into their shop they treated me like I was a close personal friend and not a dollar sign. They deal with you on an extremely personal level which is amazing in this line of work. My car has been built and tuned by them for the past 40k miles and I've never once had an issue with quality or service. I can call them with a concern I have with the car and end up going in the same day just to see whats going on. Corey, the owner and tuner is by far one of the most knowledgable tuners out there and his tunes are OUTSTANDING. He tunes conservatively and safely to make sure the car stays healthy and happy. Mandi and Drew, and the rest of the crew there are so incredibly knowledgable and never leave you with any doubts, the guys behind the scenes that work on the cars are incredible, they all do such great work and genuinely love what they do which is reassuring because it definitely shows in the quality of their work. They go above and beyond to make sure i'm taken care of and even reply to questions in the early morning and evening, and thats something thats near impossible to find now a days. By far the best customer service I have ever encountered. Definite customer for life.

In March I bought a used 2009 STi, this car has been the bane of my existence, constant check engine lights, poor performance, etc. The crew at Slowmotion took on the task of trying to fix this steaming pile of turds and they did just that and plenty more. This car is night and day different from how it was when I got it, it is smooth, fast, and happy. Thank you again to everyone there for helping me finally enjoy this car and making it the car I had been hoping for.

Brought my car in for some major work, they were patient and willing to work with me on paying the cost of the work. I was kept up to date on all the work that was getting done to the car. They even made suggestions on parts that would make everything easier for the tuning and health of my motor. I was given price quotes for upgrades I had inquired about and the price wasn't bad at all. Knowledgeable staff and were willing to check any concerns I had with the new build, would highly recommend and definitely will be returning for more upgrades!

The owner Corey really cares about his customers and goes the extra mile to get the job done right. He was able to get the power and torque That I wanted With a smooth linear dyno graph. Brad did a fantastic job rebuilding my Fa20dit engine, he was very organized and definitely knows his way around a Subaru. I will definitely be going back for any Future tuning or engine builds.

Slow Motion is great. I was referred by a friend and it was a one-stop shop for my build. They machined a flywheel for me, cleaned/flow tested injectors, fabricated my exhaust and tuned my car. They are all genuinely friendly and helpful. Its obvious this is a business that is focused on high quality work and customer service.

2003 Mitsubishi evolution 8

Not sure why people review this place, as par to their name, they have countless customer cars run 10's in the 1320 or faster.

I've dealt with many vendors building several cars and getting parts, I do most of my own work and sometimes regret it but I like to learn and learn from my mistakes, but they can pretty much get anything you want and need in a timely manner.

I recently built or put full bolt ons on my Evo to reach a personal goal of 450awhp+ and run high 11s, I went to another shop before going here and I wasted $500+ On a basemap and it was a waste of time and i felt like someone just giving someone money, well I talked to the guys at slomotion they had me in whenever they could squeeze me in for a tune, I ended up making 480awhp and 460torque, needless to say they take pride in their work and spend a lot of time on cars that aren't even their own they also treat you just as good as they would their friends, I highly recommend this shop to not only specifically Evo owners but any make and model, if you have a goal and of course the budget they can get you there!!!!!

So a little back story as I am from Fort Wayne, Indiana. Years ago, a friend told me of a place called Slowmotion Motorsports who tuned his Honda Del Sol over in Sunbury Ohio. He was super pleased with the results, so my dad and I thought hey...lets check them out with our Honda to see if we can get the same results. Upon our first tune , we were very happy with the outcome! Not only did it put smiles on our faces, but it was also the same time we knew we became Slowmotion Motorsports repeating customers. My recent back story is that I purchased a 2005 Subaru Sti and I knew exactly where to take it! Around November of 2016 I called the shop and was politely greeted by Mandi. She was very knowledgeable and we discussed initial steps and then we went from there. She had promptly given me various quotes all from an oem rebuild to a street race car. After telling Mandi what I wanted, she did exactly that. She gave recommendations for all of the parts to order, they handled all the block and head work being shipped out, did a fantastic job on the assembly process, installed a custom fuel system and needless to say when the time came to dyno the car performed beyond my expections! Mandi was consistantly on the ball for updates on the vehicle, as well as going above and beyond to supply me a collage of pictures of the build! The facility is very nice/cleanly and the staff were very respectful/professional. If you're looking to have someone work on your vehicle, they are worth the drive and I would highly recommended them with 6/5 stars as my overall recommendation! Thanks Slowmotion Motorsports!

I recently relocated to Columbus and had done a fair amount of research on a shop that I would be comfortable working on my car. When time came around for some exhaust fabrication I called around to other performance shops" and didn't feel as comfortable or as appreciated as I did when I called Slowmotion Motorsports and spoke with Jack. Jack was very informative and honest from the beginning. Jack requested I come in for the guys to inspect the vehicle for a proper estimate of time and parts that were needed. After the inspection I was informed of the estimate for the particular work and they were even able to do they work the same day! I am very happy weeks after with the work and experience I had done with Slowmotion Motorsports. I will definitely be back!

Took my 08 WAX to simply get stage 2 and tune. I was estimated 3 days for it to be done but took 3 weeks because they forgot to order a part( it's called slow motion for a reason). Tuning was done wrong and they wouldn't fix it and tried to blame me so I took it to another shop where they tuned it properly. From everyone I've talked to, this place breaks more than they fix and I regret ever going.

Took My Sti there for some bolt-ons and an e85 tune. Jack was more than helpful and guided me through the process as it was my first time getting a pro tune. Pro tune has just over a 1000 miles to date, and no issues to speak of. Really appreciated them getting me a quick appointment, and getting the car done back to me within a couple days.

I took my WRX to Slow Motion for a clutch/flywheel replacement. Long story short, a few weeks after install something went wrong with a part on the clutch and it broke- leaving my car immobile. Slow Motion was quick to send a truck to retrieve my vehicle. They ended up upgrading me to a better clutch/flywheel, at no cost, and covered the labor. Even though the part failure was not their fault , they still covered associated costs and definitely made up for the inconvenience that I experienced. I m very satisfied with the new clutch and definitely plan on returning for more mods.

Slowmotion installed a manual boost controller and performed a stock ECU reflash on my 2004 WRX. I'm very happy with the performance of the car, boost is now available at partial throttle and overall the driving experience is improved. Friendly and knowledgeable staff who took the time to answer my questions and discuss details of the tune. Overall good experience. I'll be back!

Went in to get a magnaflow cat back exhaust installed as well as a PRL cold air intake and a Hondata reflash. From start to finish the shop took care of every question and need that I had. They were knowledgeable, helpful and extremely professional. Mandi also went above and beyond to answer questions and find the parts I needed when parts are difficult to find available for my car and back ordered. I usually worry about taking my car into shops because mechanics in the past at other businesses have tracked dirt and mud inside of my car, scratched the clearcoat and got dirt all over the exterior of the car etc.... Slow-motion motorsports took great care of my vehicle while they worked on it, which goes a long way with me. Great shop, excellent people! only shop i trust to tune my car! they can get about any part you need usually next day with amazing prices. Their fabrication and welding is top notch. I cannot say enough good things about Corey and the crew at slowmotion!

I cannot say enough Positive things about the guys at Slowmotion Motorsports, and the work they performed on my Corvette. They recently did a major overhaul and removed my transmission, and other various driveline parts to replace a leaking input shaft seal. While they had the driveline out, They advised me on a few items I could benefit from that cost me no additional labor, and all I had to do was buy a few parts. The Technician Brad did a flawless job, and was extremely detail oriented with all the work he did on my corvette. Every panel he worked around was covered, and he treated my Vette like it was his own, If you have a Corvette, or another high-performance GM vehicle I highly recommend giving them a shout for any work needed.

I couldn t be happier with the work done by Slowmotion on my Evo 8. I recently took my car there for a speed density conversion and a dyno tune. They fit me in very quick. Corey took his time with my car and made sure the tune and driveability were perfect. The previous tuner screwed the tune up and Corey fixed it. My car also had small issues I wasn t aware of and they were fixed on the spot. I had questions about what was being done and the guys there were all very friendly and informative. Nobody was in a rush and the employees took the time to make sure all my questions were answered fully. I cant wait to come back to add another map to my car. Thank you for letting me become a member of the Slowmotion family. There s a reason all of us guys from central Michigan drive the extra distance to Slowmotion. I wish I could give 10 stars but 5 is the max. I had been having problems with my tune on my Lancer Evolution, after visiting 3 different tuners I was about to give up. I ran in to Mandi from Slowmotion Motorsports at a race I was attending and she convinced me that Corey (their tuner) could have it running great in no time. I have to admit that I had my doubts but with in 30 minutes Corey had the car starting better, the AFR s dialed in, and the drivability was like stock. After the tune was done I have still been in contact with Mandi for parts, oil, and other things. They customer service has been great and they have earned my business for life!

I've had my fair share of mishaps with my now 13 year old Subie, but fortunately I live within 40 minutes of Slowmotion Motorsports and since I started taking the STi there a few years ago I've never gone anywhere else. They've installed a larger turbo, injectors, intake, and of course taken care of all my tuning needs. They are more than willing to help meet your performance goals as well as budget goals. I take my car in for literally everything aside from oil changes. If you live around Columbus, Oh and have a Subaru in need of a solid tune Slowmotion Motorsports is a no-brainer.

I brought my 2018 STI to Slowmotion to get a downpipe installed Ended up doing a Turbo upgrade along with injectors and TGV and egr deletes. Work was done super fast did a good job on my tune. Customer service is great. I would highly recommend them prices are fair work quality is excellent.

Slowmotion Motorsports is the most helpful automotive shop I have ever experienced and they always go above and beyond my expectations. I have never had a bad experience with them and my car has been in their shop on numerous occasions. I could talk about how my car runs a thousand times better after a SlowMotion tune by Corey or how Drew and Jack worked with me on the pricing of my tune and accessories. I could also tell you about how they have a perfect balance between organization, car enthusiasm, professionalism and customer focus but I really just want to convey that all of the people at SlowMotion are just that: people. They are wonderful, decent people that truly want to help other people with car tuning and performance, they spent hours just talking to me about my car and theirs, what I could be working and what they themselves are working on. I ve gone to several other big name shops around Ohio recently and SlowMotion is by far the most knowledgeable, courteous and communicative shop, on top of being excellent at what they do and doing it without overcharging the customer or delaying the process. I just bought a 2004 wrx and it was running lean I brought it in for injectors and tune they found three other things wrong and gave me a list of options I decided to fix all three including wiring to my alternator replacing my alternator and my turbo inlet, I don't want a race car I want daily drivability and my tune with new injectors is just that with plenty of power to get up and go if need be. The pricing was very fair and they even made it to where I could stay on budget without sacrificing answered all of my questions and helped build a plan for future repairs and future work. Customer service was amazing I am beyond please with the work and the drivability of my car and my tune is everything I asked for and more. I cannot stress that my costs are way less then other shops would of charged me and everything was done quickly and properly and I got my car back in no time. And they fixed things the previous owner did that were wrong. I even had a compression test and numbers were good, they found a few more little problems and gave me solid solutions and fair prices my car will go to no other shop not even for a oil change I will be returning to slowmotion motorsports because of how I was well taken care of and how well my car was.
