Administration staff are good for nothing. Its worse than a government office. They are so slow in doing their job. Being a leading private university one expects a certain standard from the university, but it is not so. If you are unable to go in person to get something done, its going to take ages for you to get it done through emails.
I wish i didn t study here. None of the other institutes give such a hard time to their own graduates.

This is where my daughter had her studies for the first degree in IT. It is an excellent University campus with modern facilities.

Never studied there but looks like a fine institution as per the things people say about SLIIT

Spend 4 years for Bs.c and another 2 years for Ms.c. nothing to complaint, everything went smoothly, the best thing is if they tell that they gonna have the exam on these days that is happening on that day without any delay. No ragging, everyone respect each other. SLIIT is a good example for people who are telling that from a private institute we can buy a degree, you should go there and try it, then you will realize.

We are a leading non-state degree awarding institute approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under the Universities Act. We are members of the Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU), as well as the International Association of Universities (IAU). We are also the first Sri Lankan institute to be accredited by the Institution of Engineering & Technology, UK.

SLIIT was established in 1999. We opened our doors to 400 students in Metro Campus in Colombo. Currently, we offer both undergraduate and postgraduate courses and accommodate over 7000 students, including international students from various regions in the world. More than 9000 alumni have graduated from our three faculties: Business, Computer, and Engineering. We take great pride in producing graduates who make meaningful contributions to their communities and professions.
