Skydive Twin Cities Review

We had a blast! My group consisted of 5 people; my son and his girlfriend, my two daughters, and myself. As each of my children graduated from high school, as a graduation present, I took them sky diving(I did it 12 years ago and loved it) My daughters had each sky dived already. Now it was my son's turn. My son and I are both outer space enthusiasts so we decided to sky dive on July 20th, 2019 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing and, of course, wear our NASA Apollo 11 t-shirts as well. I was hoping that Bergy(hope I spelled that right) was going to be at Skydive Twin Cities to do our video. He did my video 12 years ago and did an outstanding job. I was ecstatic to learn he was there that day and so I immediately requested him to do my son's video. The video turned out amazing! Such great actions shots! Not only did he film my son's first sky dive but he filmed each one of my family members jumping out of the plane and also each of our landings as well. He didn't have to do this so thank you Bergy for extending us this kindness and also for the amazing video. It looks awesome! Also, I want to thank Tyler too, who was my tandem instructor, and all the tandem instructors who got my family down safely. We had a blast and look forward to doing it again in the future!

I did my first Tandem jump yesterday and absolutely loved it. My instructor was Xbox and he was amazing, he had me laughing the whole time he really put my nerves at ease. I will be going again this week and hoping to have him again. Very friendly and caring staff I highly recommend this place.

I did it! I actually took the dive. I m 72 years young, & fulfilling my bucket list. My grandson turned 21 a few days after my birthday, so he & his friend took the dive with me. Words can t explain, you just have to do it. That free feeling as I am floating in the air is beautiful. I felt very safe with my instructor. Smilingly & laughing the whole time. Indeed! Super awesome place. I did my first tandem here 15 years ago then came back for another. My experience was amazing both times. Decided to return a third time to take the Accelerated Freefall Course and get licensed. Best decision I ever made!

My husband and I did tandem jumps a few weeks ago, and would highly recommend it!! The staff were fun and informative, and made you laugh so you almost forgot about the risk involved:-) The pictures and video were worth it if you only plan to check it off your bucket list. Otherwise ; I would practice your moves for a few jumps before getting pictures.

My daughter went skydiving for her 18th birthday. The place is organized and well run. We did have about an hour wait but that was to be expected. It was a beautiful day and her experience was stellar. She jumped with X Box, he has an amazing personality and made it really fun for her. Totally recommend Skydive Twin Cities. If I get the courage this is on my to do list next year for my 5 year breast cancer free anniversary.

I skydived for the first time last week in order to celebrate obtaining my Bachelor's Degree. The staff were all incredibly helpful and friendly, but they also calmed my nerves. The service was speedy, but personal.
I definitely cannot wait to go again!!

I hate to give them 2 stars because my experience with them for tandem jumping was incredible. I would love to give my tandem instructor Nola a solid 10 stars she made everything from the take off, the jump itself and the landing easy!!!! So thank you Nola you rock. The downside was I payed from my video & pictures from my the skydive and the camera malfunction which happens, but when calling for my refund and being told that the pictures where gonna be uploaded to find out they never were.I called 3 days in row and was told they would get back to me after my account was fixed and never received a call back. It got so bad when I called back they knew my name by heart, today I finally got my refund back after 3 days. unsatisfied with customer service If there was a way to give them 0 stars it would have happen.

My instructor was Carl and he did an amazing job, thanks to him I enjoyed it. It was my first time (Oct 2015) Skydiving and I was not scared AT ALL, not sure why though. I definitely recommend this place.

This review is specific to the Skydive Twin Cities handling of the COVID pandemic and not a reflection of the jump (which was 5 stars).

Upon my arrival, I was shocked to find they are taking no precautions to mitigate risk. It's business as usual in Baldwin. The front desk, where most people pile up as they are checking in, has multiple large, sliding windows that could easily be converted to outdoor check-in. Later in the process, groups gather in a small room to watch a short video and fill out paperwork. Again, as sky diving is good weather dependent, this could all be outdoors. Finally, when the process is all said and done, you must sign a form that says Skydive Twin Cities is not accountable for any COVID transmissions. By the time this form is signed, you've already been in and out of the building half a dozen times, so I'm not sure how the form could be valid unless it was signed from the very beginning, outside.

If you have any health concerns, I would postpone your skydiving adventure until the pandemic is over.

Amazing . The staff were friendly,helpful and patient.There are simply no words to describe the feeling of jumping out of a plane.Had a great time and will be back.

The staff was very knowledgeable, had at least 3 safety checks before getting on the airplane, and made sure we all felt very safe. The sky diving itself was also amazing! The instructor, Connor, asked me what I was comfortable with as far as spins, stalls, and steering all the way down. I had a great experience.

I have never thought about sky diving, I was offered the last 2 years and said no thank you, this year I said YES, and I am so glad I did. My instructor was Fabulous and if I ever get the chance to go again I pray I get him . Thank you all for such a great time, IT WAS AWESOME!!!

Never thought I would make the jump, but it was the best way to start my bachelor party. The staff was very nice and relaxed which in turn made me feel very comfortable jumping out of a perfectly good airplane. one of the best experiences of my life

Had a group of 8 come out. Super coordinated, very friendly staff. Jump was AWESOME!!! Highly recommend. Plus, size of plane used meant we could fall from 12,000 ft - SUPER long free fall.

All three of my kids and I went skydiving at Skydive Twin Cities for my daughters 18th birthday. We enjoyed every part of the experience from start to finish. Great dropzone, amazing customer service and just all around fun place. Highly recommend!!!

I cannot say enough good things about Skydive Twin Cities! We chose them for our first tandem skydive experience based on their exceptional online reviews. We live in Fargo, ND and knew we wanted to look at something a little prettier on the way down ;) Baldwin, WI is beautiful! The entire staff was amazing to work with. I was so nervous and DJ (my tandem instructor) explained everything so I was comfortable and made me laugh to calm my nerves. He is wonderful at his job. Matt was my videographer and did an awesome job capturing the dive and my proposal afterwards. Everyone in the staff is super friendly, my instructor (and my tandem partner) was insightful, informative. They did an amazing job in making the first skydiving experience memorable and as smooth as possible. Videos and photos came out really good. Overall a great experience.

Super slick training and check in! My coworkers and I all did tandem jumps- all the guys we jumped with were awesome! My first tandom jump (8.5.17) was with Joel. It was the most intense, intoxicating, emotional, fulfilling event I have experienced. Joel showed me how to guide the canopy and let me make some turns. I was flying. Highly recommend.

This was my first jump, and it was a great experience! Helpful instructors, everything ran fairly quickly and smoothly, and I made it back to the ground in one piece!

Such an amazing day! The group I went with were all first time jumpers. We chose tandem skydiving. Super easy to check in and loved the friendly shop dogs. They were the best support animals to ease the nerves. Once checked in and paperwork all signed, we had about an hour wait which was perfect as we could watch all the skydivers before us make their jumps. It was so amazing to see the sky full with colorful parachutes. Instructors and photographers were so amazing, thoughtful, and funny. I wish I would have gone skydiving sooner as I feel they have made me a skydiving addict! Bring your family/friends to watch you jump or Jump with you. Skydive Twin Cities has lots of shaded or sunny areas to hangout, play some yard games, talk with people for some great conversation, or just watch the skydivers do their thing. Such a perfect and memorable day!

This was my second tandem jump. This was a gift from family for my 70th birthday. WOW. The ride was a blast! My son, John jumped at same time and took great videos and pictures. Free fall went faster than I remember. Once under canopy, we got to turn and see the whole horizon. Beautiful way to see the world! You can't beat the staff for professionalism and safety consciousness, but best of all is the humor and fun they make of it for you. Highly recommended! Also, Bert was a fabulous Tandem Master! Fantastic experience with fantastic instructors! The wait time was a bit of a drag, but it was fun to see the others jump before me.

Does it get any better than jumping out of a plane at 13,000 feet? All the instructors are very experienced and have high hundreds to thousands of jumps. Very fun, I highly recommended. This is the only place to go, no one can compare. You can jump tandem or solo on your first jump!

July 19th 2020 Went sky diving for our daughters 19th GOLDEN birthday. We can not say enough good things about Twin Cities sky dive!! EVERYONE of the workers there treated us so kindly!! We had a blast and we would go here again to sky dive!! They are real people here!!! and like to have REAL fun. But keep it safe at the same time. Much appreciated Twin Cities sky dive!! Loved it!

Skydive Twin Cities is top notch! What fantastic way to spend the day. I would do it again.

This was my 2nd time skydiving (first time was when I turned 18, I m 35 now). The overall experience was amazing. The reason I m giving this 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the fact that all of my free fall pictures were blurry. The video turned out great and I was able to salvage some stills from the video, but was just disappointed that the focus seemed all the way out on the pics they took during the free fall. They also did refund me $57.50 (pretty much half of the photo/video package) which was super cool of them. The only other reason for 4 stars is because my Tandem guy didn t tap me when he was going to open the chute so it was kind of a shock, and resulted in a not so great feeling from the harness to my inner thigh areas lol. All in all though an absolutely exhilarating experience that I recommend everyone to try at least once!

My daughter knew I always wanted to try skydiving so she bought me a jump for my 60th birthday. I jumped with her and another friend. It was an awesome day and we had so much fun. Sam was my instructor and she put me at ease and was great. I would highly recommend Skydive Twin Cities! It was a blast.

I've jumped here two times now and it was a great experience. The tandem instructors made it fun with their sense of humor and I wouldn't jump anywhere else! They even let me drive the chute! I loved every minute of it!

They wanted to make each second of my Special Time, EXTRA Special! The Staff is fun loving, knowledgeable and love doing their jobs, you can tell! They know how to calm any fears, and make jumping "out of a perfectly good airplane" seem totally natural! I have never laughed so much, or so loud, and never wanted it to end!!

Don't let a health condition stop you from enjoying Life! I have a severe heart condition, and my Dr fully approves my skydiving! She said that my numbers are never so good, as when I go skydiving! I don't know if it is the Pure Joy, the Excitement, the Adrenaline Rush, the feeling of Freedom, or the entire package, but you feel SO ALIVE when you are seeing the entire horizon unimpeded, the patterns in the land below you, and you are totally free of earthly concerns! It is the most Alive I have ever felt!!

I plan on going back to them each year on my Birthday, and Celebrating Life by Flying like an Eagle! They are Fantastic! My Highest Recommendations!! Thank You to the Staff at Skydive Twin Cities for making my Golden Birthday the BEST one I have ever had!!! <3

My daughter and I did a tandem jump yesterday. Can't stop thinking about it! It was an amazing experience. The staff did a great job. I'd do this again in a heart beat. Adding a videographer isn't inexpensive, but I paid for one for my daughter, and am very glad that I did. The video and photos are very cool, and well done. (Thanks, Noel)

You do have to be prepared for delays. We originally had an appointment for Sunday at 11. Things were already backed up when we got there at 10:30, and then wind gusts started, which stopped jumps all together. (Of course, no one can control that.) We waited until 4:30 Sunday, and it didn't look like the weather would improve so we rescheduled. If you can go on a week day to avoid crowds, you should. My daughter and I were the only jumpers there at 3:00 on a Monday.

Amazing experience! It took me more than 13 years to finally jump but it was great! Everyone was really fun. It took a couple hours to wait for other groups but well worth the wait. Would highly recommend and would definitely go back!

This an expeireance that everyone should do i have a new outlook on life, and the staff is very well experienced skydivers with every detail, and walks you through every step to ensure you the safest jump and free fall that you will make, and you will want to do it again. Absolutely Amazing! I have jumped before but took my son, niece, and sister-in-law for their first jumps! This place is great! The people are all fun and professional. They truly make it fun for first time jumpers! If you choose to get the jump recorded on video, they do an amazing job. They get great shots from ground to plane to jump and touch down. Detail review. First time tandem jump experience

Booked tandem jump for three, but rescheduled to next day due to heavy rain and thunderstorm.

After check in ( weight, ID, etc), you can opt for photos/videos for extra 100$.( worth it. Read completely).you will be sitting in a small room for video presentation regarding thrills and risks involved.( I thought then "is it necessary for me to do skydive?" ). Then you have to sign around 30 signatures(initials) including lots of clauses such as "cannot sue if anything happen to you" etc.

Next they suit you up tightly (omg very tight..!!! ). You can ask for jump suit if weather is cold. I didn't and I was on tshirt and Jeans with comfortable shoes. Wait for ur turn atleast 30-40min (busy day for them). Watched other jumpers landing on parachutes and their glowing faces. Finally my turn. So excited.



The most scariest part is when you about to jump from plane. Try to avoid looking down while u jump ( but it's not possible ;) ) videographer will jump just before u and start taking photos so give a good smile and good stills to photos and videos as they gonna be with you for lifetime. Try not to open ur mouth or else, due to wind at 120 miles/hour, u'll look like a balloon stuck inside ur mouth. There'll be a sudden upward lift when he opened parachute might someone cannot handle if they dont pay attention to his tandem jumper. And the best part is when ur flying with parachute. U can request him to drive the parachute for a while and he'll take over before landing. While landing, pay attention to him on how to land properly. There was girl at office, while we were waiting, hurt her leg. U'll get a certificate and photos and videos are uploaded to a link.

Over all, skydiving was always my dream from childhood and this team made my dream come true. Kudos to you guys. You are the best. They handled everything perfectly and they have very good sense of humor which decreases ur tension a bit.

This experience inspired a lot of my friends when I showed them photos and videos, they'all excited now. 'll definitely jump again with them. Cheers. :)

This was AMAZING!!!!! This was my first jump and was one of my bucket list items. I am so happy I picked Skydive Twin Cities in Baldwin. The staff was so friendly and fun.
Me and my group of three other ladies had such a great time with our guys. Love that they joke around and make it easy for the nerves. :) I had Conner and he was very fun and defiantly knew what he was doing. Made my feel very comfortable and safe.(helped that he is a little hottie too!!! haha)Thanks Conner!!! Also thanks to the other guys that kept my girls safe (Robby, Nick, and Ryan).

Knowledge and very friendly staff. I went for a Tandem first jump but it definitely won't be my last. I was on a plane within 30 minutes of walking in the door at my scheduled time. Great experience.

It was straight up incredible. I don't know how to review this other than to tell you that if you have ever considered skydiving before, you 100% should and this group of people that lead the jumps are very professional and are experts at what they do! I can not stress enough how cool this experience was and I'd recommend everyone try it! I personally thought it was less scary than any rollercoaster I've ever ridden on!

This was my first time sky diving. Everyone there was amazing and helpful and tried their best to relieve certain tensions.. My Instructor was Kevin Blake , Ret.. US Navy Seal (I think.). either way. it was the most fun I have ever had, and a one of a kind experience. I will be coming back to jump again.

You would of got a 5 star from us because everything was perfect, Connor was awesome and the experience great!. Sadly, you failed to capture my son on video, which was more important to us then the 209 pictures. It was his Birthday.

Amazing experience! I drove about 4 hours to get here and it was completely worth it. Everyone is super nice and helpful. I booked a time to skydive to surprise my girlfriend and propose her. I called the staff several times, and every time I called they were extremely nice and helpful on the phone and worked with me to figure out ways to make sure this proposal can go well. As planned everything went well. This was the first time my girlfriend and I went skydiving. I am so happy that I chose this place to Skydive and propose my girlfriend. She loved it! We will definitely come back again.

I skydived here for the first time at it was an amazing experience! All of the staff members were super helpful and experienced. We waited for a little while to watch, but they get people through pretty fast. My parents came to watch and it was a really great viewing area to hang out and watch other people. The skydive was so worth the money! The only thing that was a little rough was the landing; we did a little bum drop from a few feet up and I was a little sore after, but otherwise the entire ride was fantastic! Would highly recommend.

Brought family and friends!! Two turned 18 years of age and one going off to college. What a great way to commemorate and live the metaphor of free falling safely into a new chapter of life for the kids and parents and extended family who took the leap as well and why not! Twin City Skydive owners and staff are great hosts and we were well taken care of and its worth coming here! Go with the flow and arch your back and enjoy the great element of the sky & retuning to beautiful Mother Earth!

Complimentary free drinks at Ras' and their fare was a great way to finish ... skydiving made us hungry!

My mom really enjoyed her jump with Skydive Twin Cities, so we got her a gift certificate a few years ago. She wasn't able to use it right away, so when she tried to use it this summer they told her it was expired. I am incredibly frustrated, as this was an expensive gift. Also, legally gift cards cannot expire for 5 years, and it definitely wasn't 5 years old. This is completely unacceptable business practice. So beware, do not buy gift cards and expect them to be honored.

UPDATE: I reached out to the Baldwin location and Cheryl was a huge help. She was able to find our gift certificate number (which was a chore since I really didn't have the info of when/how it was purchased, thank you Cheryl!). She is not sure why my mom was told her gift certificate was expired as it was only 3.5 years old. Something probably got lost in translation. Cheryl said they do their best to honor even expired gift certificates, and now they no longer have expiration dates. They plan to send me the gift certificate info so my mom can put the paid value toward a jump next summer. So, overall a little frustrating that my mom couldn't jump this summer due to some misinformation, but I sincerely appreciate the work put into making it right.

So happy I chose to do my first jump with Skydive Twin Cities! Not only did I feel safe from the flight to the jump, but the staff made the experience unforgettable with their positive attitudes and love for the sport. I will 100% be jumping again and will be referring all my friends to Skydive Twin Cities!

I did my first tandem skydive with 3 of my other friends and Baldwin location last weekend and it was a lifetime experience. I was little nervous at first but they made me very comfortable and answered each query very patiently. My trainer Kerry was the best. He not only told me about all the safety instructions clearly but also made sure that I got good photo shots and have a lots of fun. Also my videographer Connor, took amazing video and pics. Hats off to you guys. If you want to skydive and you landed up here, then look no further just go ahead and have an experience of a lifetime

I had an amazing time today jumping with TCS! I jumped tandem and felt completely safe and prepared the whole way through, all in all a good experience!

My wife and I did tandem skydives last week and I must say that we had the most amazing time we could've hoped for! The staff was professional and friendly and we could tell that they really loved what they were doing. We will be back!

For my 50th birthday I wanted to go sky diving. There was 11 people jumping. Only 2 had jumped before. The experience was better than any of us had expected! Very knowledgeable which made us relaxed. We are already planning our next jump. Definitely won't be disappointed!

Seriously the coolest experience I ve ever had. I was paired with Andries for my first tandem jump and he did an incredible job at walking me through everything, which really helped calm my nerves. I could not have asked for a better experience. (Also their hoodies are crazy soft!)

This was my first jump ever & I was encouraged to go by my friends who have done it before. It was a great experience, and I felt well-prepared for the jump by Sam who went over my responsibilities several times before our jump. It definitely made me less nervous than I thought I would be when I was up in the plane. The best part was the plane was big enough so we could all go up together & cheer each other on! The only downside was we arrived at 1:00 for our 2:00 jump & had to wait until 4:00 to go up. Although I appreciated that we got to watch other groups come down, we all felt the wait was a little too long. Thanks for helping me mark off something on my bucket list :))
