They say they create jobs and help people with disabilities but they honestly do the complete opposite. It started out as one of the best companies I ve ever worked for. I was hired as production control clerk and eventually promoted to material coordinator until I was fired for not being a team player. Which is funny because I did nothing but go out of my way to help everyone at the company. I even received the skookum presidential award a few months after being hired. I learned multiple positions so that I could help out where ever management needed someone. I worked overtime and off the clock to get things up and running properly and they let me go like it was nothing. Now that they have changed management and grown to be a bigger company they have lost sight of the most important reason they became a company... to help people with disabilities. You get in trouble when you need to take time off for mental health reasons, and you get pushed to do things that your disability prevents you from doing. There is so much favoritism and management could care less. Overall, you do not want to work for this company. They do not care about the people that work here or their disabilities and if you try to get help from HR they ll just fire you. Believe the bad reviews.. I honestly thought I would retire with this company..

The help I've recieved, before even working a day for them, has been unbelievably amazing. They even went above and beyond, and helped me with something I don't want to mention on here. But it was so greatly appreciated. Leslie is the best!!! I can't wait to start work soon. If you are limited in your computer skills, or need help attaining employment with Skookum, I highly recommend you check them out
