I stayed at Chalet Beretta in La Rosiere, between the 23rd Feb - 2nd March. Me and my group were looked after by Ben, Adam and Lauren who were incredible and made the entire holiday.

Ben and Adam were genuine, caring and made the chalet feel like a home with their amazing cooking and above and beyond attitude. Huge thanks to Adam for making my birthday special.

Lauren is incredibly passionate and has an energy that is infectious, she genuinely lights up a room. The guided trip led by herself was the highlight of my holiday and I'm glad I went.

Huge shout out to the rest of the holiday skiworld team, all of whom I met at one point or another they are warm, welcoming and I think all together make a great team... Making Le Rosiere the place to be.

They deserve as much reward that Skiworld can offer them.

Hope I can keep in touch with them all as their outlook and positivity would benefit anyone's life I think.

3 months on and still no refund. Absolute disgrace, what is the point of booking through a tour operator for package holiday protection? If I had booked my holiday individually I would by now have received refunds from each supplier and with a lot less emails and time that I have spent chasing Skiworld.

Would never book with this company again due to the complete shambles getting home after our ski holiday. The coach was late picking us up. We then waited 45 mins for absent passengers followed by 2 toilet stops required due to the toilet on the coach being out of action on a 5hr journey! Consequently, we missed our flight and Ski World were uninterested in making any form of compensation for delays and problems which could have been avoided. Do yourself a favour and book with a company that is better organised.

Absolutely appalling customer service - Skiworld are failing to comply with their legal obligations and refusing to refund customers who had trips cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. No communication from the company apart from being fobbed off with generic emails. When is Skiworld going to respond to its customers and refund them their money???

Just returned from Chalet Aigle in Tignes. Chalet and staff were excellent. Merrick,Jade,Paddy,Martin and all the others were very helpful. We stayed in room 21 which was very good. We used the sauna and pool nearly everyday which was great.
However the holiday was spoilt by the ridiculously long transfer times. It took between 6 & 7 hours to complete the transfer from Grenoble to Tignes and return. I don,t know what the French traffic people are doing but they were using control traffic measures which completely stopped the traffic flow. I have been to Tignes many times and have never experienced such long delays. I will not be returning to Tignes or the surrounding resorts unless this problem is resolved. It seems that more and more chalets/apartments are being built but no money is being spent to improve the roads to the ski resorts.

Spent a large amount of money for a ski trip in March 2020 to La Plagne, 11 individuals booked on.

Holiday was cancelled due to Covid-19. Having been extremely patient, we have remonstrated numerous times with Skiworld that our party need our money back due to individuals facing financial difficulty as a result of being furloughed. We are unable to rebook as two members of our party are pregnant (stressful during a pandemic) and will be unable to ski with very small infants next year.

Skiworld continually reply to emails with we will get back to you . They have no regard for the circumstances of individuals who have booked with them. They are happy to keep their money to help themselves and let their customers suffer.

Do not book with this company ever.

Stayed with Skiworld Chalet Rosmarie in St Anton March 2018. Disappointing and not up to usual Skiworld experience. Poor food, poor attitude from staff at all levels. Interaction was very perfunctory and only paid lip service to our More

NEVER EVER BOOK A TRIP WITH Skiworld.

NEVER EVER BOOK A TRIP WITH Skiworld.
THEY ARE NOT GIVING ANYONE CASH REFUNDS WHEN WE'RE FULLY ENTITLED TO A CASH REFUND FOR CANCELLATION OF OUR TRIP.

MANY OTHER OPERATORS ARE GIVING REFUNDS.

NOT ONLY THIS, THEY'VE IGNORED OUR FACEBOOK MESSAGES WHICH WE CAN SEE THEY'VE LOOKED AT.

BEING SELF EMPLOYED LIKE A FEW OF US ARE IN THE GROUP, WE NEED THAT MONEY BACK.

WE'VE REPORTED THEM TO 'ABTA'.

I STRONGLY RECOMMEND NEVER USING THEM AND FINDING A LOYAL COMPANY WITH GOOD MORALS.

HAS ANYONE ELSE HAD THE SAME ISSUE?

They were ok. They got us there and they got us home. The chalet was comfortable but only just. The food was fine but nothing to write home about. Our chalet host was great but I think we got lucky as his replacement failed to show on his morning off leaving me to cook breakfast for everyone. I would say the service could be hit and miss depending on who you get and whether they have bothered to train themselves up as I suspect Skiworld probably don't do enough. The wifi didn't work but luckily the 4g reception was pretty good. Red wine was undrinkable but they changed that for the last couple of days after some nagging from us. Not really ski in ski out - as advertised but a 50m walk that was no big deal. Overall good enough but not good enough to stop me from shopping around next time.

Had a catered hotel lodge, Aigle, Tignes. Seemed ok at the start of the week but everything got worse as the week went on. The rep was very unorganised and seemed to avoid any questions at all cost! Towards the end of the week there was hardly any choice of food and stuff mysteriously hadn t been delivered but I assume this is a common thing to use as an excuse on the last day to cut costs. Dinner kept getting later and later and they d always run out of options fast. An expensive week for what you get; I wouldn t use them again. Disappointing.

On this occasion i felt this was an exceptional circumstance where the standard of service has been shocking. There was a catalogue of problems which it was clear that no one was taking ownership of nor did we get communication about the issues raised.

The rooms were very basic and small and pokey!

We never had any tea or coffee made for us, at breakfast or at any other point, The plates were never warmed for our breakfast or dinner making our meals cold very quickly, except on one day when someone different served breakfast. We complained about the temperature in the room for 4 days as the radiator didn't work, then on the 5th night a oil heater was left outside our door to address the situation.

We complained about the smell of sewage in our room (5) on arrival at the same time as the radiator and it was clear that our complaints weren't being taken seriously and despite complaining every day the smell was ALWAY present which meant it was very unpleasant returning to our room and apparently skiworld were already aware of this issue of sewage.

One of the days when I came back from skiing several people said they had had to have a cold shower, and when I waited for the water to heat up there was still no hot water, however someone did come around to address this problem. I had to wait a further 5 hrs for the water to heat up to have a short warm shower.

The chalet seemed to be generally poorly equipped, although we were told it had been refurbished this season. It was difficult to see how it had been refurbished since I couldn't see any new items in the chalet. There was mould on the bathroom ceiling also the chalet had very little sound proofing and every morning we were disturbed by Staff arriving and going up the stairs with shoes on and being noisy banging around in the kitchen. No first aid kit in the kitchen or anywhere else and no fire procedure briefing.

No television,. No key for the door to the individual rooms or the communal door for 3 days leaving all our possession at risk, there were 2 guests we had never met before that we were sharing with which made this situation awkward.

No shower gel, but a 1 inch square piece of soap! Initially no Christmas tree or Christmas decorations, and then when one did arrive there was nothing to put on it.

This meant there was no special Christmas feel to our holiday for the first half of our holiday. No firewood for the log burner, and when we asked for some repeatedly, it took 3 days to arrive.

The table has a bench arrangement which means that everyone has to move if one person on the end wants to get out from a corner.

We asked for a change of towels towards the end of the week since we couldn't dry our towels properly due to the radiators and heater in the bathroom being out of commission and whilst we were promised them we never got them.

The skiworld website states the bathroom will be cleaned once a week and this never happened.

Waste bins were never emptied!

We had to ask for toilet rolls and when they arrived we had to distribute ourselves and replenish throughout the holiday.

There was a heater in the bathroom which was meant to keep that very small area warm however it worked for 5 mins and then stopped and never worked again.

There was a snow shovel however it appeared that it wasn't part of the hosts duty to clear the treacherous path from the steps to the door of the property.

The steps leading to the road were never cleared although perhaps the duties for this should be shared between skiworld and other chalet hosts using the same steps which iced up regularly making the steep decent into the chalet difficult.

The afternoon cakes were well made but then this was left out until 9 pm some nights before being cleared away generally by ourselves

On the morning of the last day it didn't seem that it would be a problem to make the breakfast 30 mins earlier to send us off with a hot breakfast instead of a bacon sandwich, which we weren't allowed to eat on the coach during the 3 hour coach journey.

TERRIBLE COMPANY

TERRIBLE COMPANY
We have just returned from a ski holiday in La Plagne which was spoiled by Skiworld changing the entire itinerary (ie. flight times & excessively long transfer -7 hours to get from La Plagne to Grenoble Airport!!).

We originally booked an early morning flight as we wanted to be in resort by mid afternoon. We ended up with a late afternoon flight and didn t get into our chalet until after midnight on the first night.

Be warned what ever flight times Skiworld tell you when you book means nothing. Their T&Cs state they can change your flight to any time they want on the day of travel. Even when you get your flight numbers and flight details all confirmed this means nothing. We had our flight change issued to us 5 day before we departed!!

They refuse to reply to emails and they couldn t care less about the customers once they have taken your money.

A truly terrible company.

Ski world cancelled the day we arrived as a result of the French lockdown. Told my group to claim on insurance, offering no refund or alternative trip. Absolutely disgraceful and against ABTA guidance. Do not book with this company. The repatriation was a joke and the chalet we arrived to was dirty. Would never book with Ski world again.

Following a cancelled ski trip wrote to ski world to obtain a refund as is obligated under PTR 2018. 4 months later and only a partial refund offered. Avoid at all costs. There are other ski companies that have been hit by Covid and have done the honorable thing, why cant Skiworld?

We have just returned from our third Skiworld holiday in Tignes and have never had a bad experience. Chalets locations are fantastic and chalets hosts are always friendly and extremely helpful.

I would definitely recommend Skiworld!

We had a pretty awful experience - Worst chalet I have ever stayed in with the worst staff , terrible food , dirty chalet - sent a feedback form got no response , complained via social media they said they would be in touch and that was August. I don't recommend this company to anyone having spent thousand with them over the years their standards have been slowing dropping and I would tell everyone to use someone else !
