2for1 Night skiing on Saturday. Not too busy and it seems ski lifts are faster than usual.
2for1 Night skiing on Saturday. Not too busy and it seems ski lifts are faster than usual.
Great place beginner or occasional skiers. FRIENDLY STAFF! Be prepared for an unprovoked "how's it going " from staff
this place is mmhmmm yeah very cash money mmhmmm ok awesome yeah yeah yeah 10/10 would highly recommend
Fantastic community ski hill. Best place to learn how to ski in the Gatineau Hills.
Good hill with many runs. The grooming is always decent, although the chairlifts don't travel as fast as at some other ski hills, like Mont. Ste. Marie or Adelweiss. Some hills are annoying to get to, however, and you need to either skate-ski to the hills or go down a closer hill first to reach the farther ones. This isn't a major problem, but I thought I would point it out
The staff is generally kind. The food service at the chalet is good and the lines are fast-paced. The food is a little overpriced, but that is to be expected at ski hills. The food tastes good however. They also have a bar.
Overall, the hill is pretty good and I would recommend coming here, especially for a night-ski.
Wonderful experience, tons of helpful staff who taught me how to ski, 10/10 would recommend again to anyone
Small hill and the runs are short. But usually the lineup isn't long. Perfect for little kids learning. For adults, you may want to drive to Mt St-Marie or Tremblant.
I always enjoy this place. Great staff, hills and amenities.
This place is just easy and fairly inexpensive. Has hills for all levels.
Nice beginner slope and not busy. Good experience.
Good, Coline of a good size. Perfect for family skiing!
Amazing prices, good runs, and friendly staff. It made me think of the good times I had here as a child.
Been going here since I was a kid, great spot to hit the slopes and close to the city
Great place for family skiing. Never real busy like Fortune. Great service in the rentals although they need more room to put on gear and stand in line during busy times. Hills are great for beginner and medium level skiers. We have family nearby so we come here often in winter. A safe place for letting our tweens ski alone...
Shorter runs (750m long) but good selection of blues and unlike Edelweiss they actually use the snow cannons to make sure they are open.
Minimal wait times on weekends after lunch. Hills are well taken care of and great for beginners-intermediate
Small ski hill but well maintained and nicely laid out runs.
I parked there waiting for a friend. It was the fall, so there was no snow, and therefore I can't tell you if the skiing is good.
Great place for night skiing. There weren't too many people there so there was no wait for the lift. Mondays are 2 for 1 so good price for a family outing.
Perfect for new or young skiers. Lots of runs to choose from. Extremely pleasant staff.
They don t honor the hours posted on their website, at least for the magic carpet in my experience, for *no reason*.
Their website is not accurate. Calls goes to voicemail. Their website says La Pente Douce trail is open. Reality is that only a very small section in its lower part by the magic carpet is open. I had to drive 1:30 hours to get disappointed.
Hill is awesome for beginners and xpert staff is great hop you go
Skiing tonight was great on the open runs, especially given the warm temperatures. No lift lines.
Was my 1st time ever to learn to ski. Back when I was a child. It's a family resort. Not a big hill. But a good 1
Reasonable prices, good location. Not a big place, but good diversity of difficulties for the size of it. The beginner run is excellent and one of the first runs open.
Great friendly staff. Great place for kids to learn to ski
In great shape right now. It wasn't busy, but the lifts are doubles, so I don't think I would want to be there when it was.
Try Mt Cascade instead. Vorlage is a nice hill and has friendly staff, but our experience was ruined by a truly unpleasant experience with the ski patrol.
Was accused of having skied "under the lift line" and gone off piste, and of having cut off a snowboarder. No evidence presented for any of these accusations except that the lift operators said the perp wore telemark skis, which I don't. Vorlage needs to step up its game - hauling customers off the lines to "ask some questions" is ridiculous.
Great small ski resort. It has a couple of nice lifts with mainly blue trails. The lodge is excellent, the staff are nice and I recommend that you come here to ski. They have a nice food court with nice food, though it has a high price, like all ski resorts. If I'd recommend a dish, it'll be the poutine. There is a bar. One of the major problems is that the bathrooms are very dirty and disturbing. In a stall in the men's bathroom, there was blood absolutely everywhere. There are also some ski boutiques and a nice rental service. The best part about this place is that you really don't wait long for the chairlifts as they have nice short lines. The staff are very helpful as they guide you and operate the lifts smoothly. In conclusion, after you've read this long review, this place is excellent and I recommend that you ski here at least once to see how it's like.
A very good experience. Only downside, pay attention to your equipment when there are too many people. My child had his sticks stolen
This is a small ski hill which I've been going to train my 3 kids for about a decade now. It's perfect for that. There is a nice easy trail, a bunny trail with a moving carpet. Then, you have harder trails as well but since the mountain isn't very high, they don't last long. They take good care of their trails. It is easy to access right at the end of the highway 5. Good prices too. I recommend it for young family and/or inexperienced skiers and snowboarders. They also make a snow park. Not 5 stars because their ski lifts are very old but hey, it gets you there!
Short trails, but much better than Fortune. 2 for 1 deal makes visit worth.
Perfect for beginners and family. Easy slopes, but beautiful environment and good gradation of difficulty levels. Much less crowded than other small mountains in the region, and cheaper too
Quite nice. Relatively easy trails except one or two steeper or bumpier sections. Lifts a little old and only with two seats, the queues get super fast very easily. Correct rental equipment. Medium food and super expensive but hey we expect it. Less crowded than Mont Cascades if you want to choose another place to ski.
Everyone is so friendly, the runs are fantasticly groomed and excellent for any level of skier or snowboarder. I always have a great time and highly recommend this little gem!
A great hill for families and people who are learning to ski! It's best to go during their 1/2 price ticket times (Monday day and night, and Saturday night). Season's passes are also much cheaper if you buy them during the summer. Enjoy :)
Somewhat icy. My six year old got yelled at for not taking off his poles when getting on the lift. He's never had trouble getting on. Don't mind the message but the delivery was not nice. Also got told to go take off my skis before ordering food (which is pretty mediocre) even though there was absolutely nobody in line. Still was a good day on the slopes.
Family owned and family run ski hill with a great lessons program and learning area. Awesome for kids. Some top notch level 3 instructors for the adults too.
We love it!! Staff is so friendly and it's so close to Ottawa!! Fun for our whole family!! Highly recommend !!
Vorlage is a lovely gem of a hill. A nice mix of runs, night skiing, nice food and drink, (Wakefield!) eating/shopping blocks away. Fabulous view across the Gatineaus and the river.
The staff give good service. We had an ideal day, I wish you success ...
nice place for skiing great place for begins wish some rides are longer tho.
Went from opening to 1pm. Hills were well groomed when we got there. 1 or 2 runs had icy patches but nothing major. There's a good choice of runs and you can go from 1 lift to the next pretty flawlessly
Small hill but well groomed. Very friendly slopes to newer skiers.
I patrolled at this hill for seven years before moving out of the area. May not have the highest vertical in the area, but it more than makes up for it by way of superior grooming. Above all, it is a family friendly operation. No quads, though, so pay attention to the liftees when it's your turn to get on the chair! A family owned and operated business that supports its surrounding community.
Nice Hill. Great deal two for one on Saturday after 3.00. Didn't appreciate having to wait in rental line just to buy lift tickets.
New season! Even nicer when it is so quite. Not for long
Great place for people who are new to skiing. Helpful staff.
It's not my birthday but thanks for da cake

I love skiing here. Not so crowded and just perfect for my level
Good place for kids to learn to ski. Very affordable season passes for kids. Lots of room upstairs and downstairs in the chalet to sit. Best to bring your own food as the cafeteria can be expensive.
We were a group of 8 and everyone were first timers and the experience was out of this world to try it out .. despite the fact that we had millions of fall.. we will definitely be back.. this place is good for beginners and experts as well.. staff were super friendly and their instructions were precise.. I guess, we as a group found something to make Canadian winter interesting.. Special thanks to the super friendly staff at "Ski Vorlage"
It was way to much ice i busted my ass couple time cause way to many ice
Closing hour was announced 16:30 but we were "invited" to leave at 15:50.
Small hill but the conditions were great and there were no line ups for night skiing
Nice hill, has a fantastic run for beginners. Black diamond runs seemed to be mostly/all closed when I went. Intermediate runs were pretty good. Not too crowded when I was there. Chairlifts are pretty archaic but appear to be well maintained. My daughter fell off one of them as they dont slow down at the bottom like modern ones typically do.
Place is easy to find, hills are not too steep. Perfect for beginners. Cafeteria and washrooms are clean. Equipment rental is maintained pretty good too.
Great conditions, great beginner hill and good staff.
Great ski hill. Great price. My favourite in the area. Highly recommend it.
A sweet hill, perfect place for people new to skiing. Not too busy or intimidating. We rented everything we needed (give yourself ample time to get suited up in the rental shop) especially if you are signed up for lessons). Staff are friendly and patient. Very reasonably priced. My kids enjoyed their snow school lessons.
Great day. Not very busy. Only annoying thing is the employees yelling at people to put their masks on for the chairlift(outdoors).
Awful woman is staying at the entrance of rest room, not polite at all and the snow really too hard for skiing...
The runs are decent and there is a nice selection of them for a smaller hill. Chair lifts are dated, but run fine. The employees working the lifts are nice and helpful. The cafeteria staff is very nice, prices are quite high. The employees working inside the building in both the ski rental and ski school are miserable. I came twice on school trips and had to tell them that they couldn t speak to children this way. Very sad, they were so rude to the poor kids. I also witness them being very impatient and curt with everyone I saw them interact with. Such a shame. The ski instructors seem friendly and helpful, I didn t meet them all but the ones I experienced were fine. Many improvements can me made. Based on the poor customer service, I likely wouldn t return.
Although it is smaller than other ski hills in the area, Vorlage has a special charm that's all its own. I have been skiing here since I was a boy and I still enjoy the variety of runs and the general atmosphere that Vorlage has to offer. I would characterize it as a family ski hill first and foremost; although, it has terrain for both advanced and novice skiers alike.
