Lots of cool vendors, the entry fee pays for itself if you plan on buying equipment there. It's a fun event that's worth stopping buy if you love winter sports. Went last year, looking forward to this year's show!
Great selection. Prices slightly higher than other retailers with similar brands. helpful staff.
2016 Ski dazzle was a great show with great discounts. For some reason Ski dazzle 2017 was a much smaller show and the "$89.00 value on lift tickets free with entry" was horrible. Most of the season was blacked out and there were a lot of restrictions. It wasn't worth it. Most of the "sale items" I was able to find online for a cheaper price. Definitely do not recommend you wasting your money.
went last year and got hooked up with all new gear for less than what I found online. defiantly going again this year. cant wait for the season!
the promotion gets more stingy every year, barely even worth going to the ski convention anymore. With so many black out dates, and a very short time window in the 1st half of january to use your ticket, dont get your hopes up to goto any of the nice resorts such as bear or mt high (which is only a 2 for 1 deal anyway, still have to buy a ticket). after jan 12, your only options are the lesser or smaller resorts. half the time SoCal doesnt even get more acceptable snow until February! of course the mailing address is in Laguna Beach because some rich schemer is rakin' it in!
Why is anyone rating this convention anything but 5 stars? This is the coolest convention of the year. I look forward to this damn thing every year. It comes in right before Christmas, just before all the mountains open. Get you excited for the snow year. I don't know what these individuals have been abused by, but this thing is outstanding.
The virtual event (2020) is a total scam. The website is a couple pages of snow weather info and links to 5 merchant websites, no discounts or way to buy anything as you'd normally expect from a ski dazzle convention. The prize wheel thing doesn't event recognize my email I signed up with. I tried complaining to their online customer service and was ignored, and commented on their Instagram asking for help and they blocked me. Oh and the "free lift ticket offer" is a free discount...for money off a ticket. The ticket isn't free, the discount for the ticket is. Spend your $12 on literally anything else.
Prices aren't that good. Most of the equipment isn't that good either.
