Only put a star, as to, add my opinion. See my repairs they done. Only 2 repairs I've uploaded. Re-plastering living room, an kitchen light repair. There's loads more repairs a lot worse. My 3yr old & 1yr old having to live in this. How about house swap for 2 weeks with manager of six town housing. Really show bury of best of bury/the house what jack sorry bury built.

The worst council homes management company in Gtr ...

The worst council homes management company in Gtr Nanchester i have ever dealt with. Middle and Senior Managers in neighbourhoods department and complaints department, dishonest manipulative and self serving by subverting the the Complaints Process. They "trap" complaints in the "infomal" stage indefinately, thus preventing accurate data being logged for annual reporting to the Council and Housing Ombudsman. Even when i submitted a formal complaint, mere tokenism followed and the Housing Ombudsman was told they had not been given enough time to resolve the issues. No surprise Covid19 was the convenient excuse. Despite the Ombudsman Decision the only issues addressed were by Repairs Direct Manager and his team are constantly let down by the staff in the contact centre and complaints teams.

If this were a true Public Body and not a Limited Company, it would have been put in special measures by now. Unfortunately, unlike a "true" Limited Company those in council homes cannot go to another housing provider, a fact exploited by the Business Manager for Neighbourhoods, at the expense of the elderly, the disabled, young children and the most vulnerable adults in society.

It is an Arms Length Management Organisation with Bury Council having a 75% share in it, so it is Bury Council who are ultimately redponsible for this ALMO not merting legal obligations to tenants. As such i have now asked the Council to refer the CEO and Business Manager to their Standards and Ethics Team.

I have written this review to provide other tenants information that hopefully will enable them to hold Six Town Housing to account

So many obstacles to get through to get heard, long delays in getting any repairs done, and don't get me started on communal aerial repairs on ancient, inferior equipment that isn't fit for purpose, I had a sky engineer assess the signal....I can't use the words he used to describe it.......just not good enough.. 2days later, no communication no repair no resolution, what is the point of this pathetic organisation
