Thought this place was ok til I went to Six Flags Fiesta Texas and realized this place is a dump. Fire everyone and ship people up from there. And hire better security. Pretty sure 90% of the issue is people are just acting a fool and y'all are letting them. Everything else could probably be fixed with a coat of paint.

A very amazing experience my children and I had with the zombies and clowns. The lines were short and we were able to fully enjoy the rides. The dipping dots were delicous and i love how there were multiple stands for them so the lines werent long.

Early in the season so there were not many lines. Roller coasters were great! Park was clean and well staffed. Only downside was the slow food. I expect to overpay for the park food but why does it have to come out so slow? Pretty good smaller park.

I love amusement parks and live in the DC metro area Kings Dominion is too far and the traffic is awful. I think Six Flags America is a much better park and only 20-30 min away. The Staff is young, polite, and fun with the kids.

Had a great time, went in the last week of September where they had fright fest, it was well decorated.. Was disappointed with the food and service was super slow.. may be they were under staffed and it was expensive for the quality of food provided.

So becuse someone died on the two face is the reason why it's down. Once again. The Joker Jinx has gotten stuck. Lucky people Try being stuck on it for hours UpSIDE Down. Yet after all those years , I am suprise to see it open still. Wow that thing broke down and got stuck alot of times.

Even the SuperMan got stuck.

Moving forward I don't see any improvements, still Ran down, dirty and ran by kids, who rather not be working there.

The price to park and Buy a ticket isn't worth it.

Terrible. Much of the staff seems miserable. Some rides were abandoned without attendants even though they had open signs. Definitely doesn't compare to any of the other amusement parks in the area.

I happened to see that a season pass to Six Flags America was only like $60 and I knew I had to get one!! Since my first visit, the service of the employees was HORRIBLE!!! Their attitude shows that they do not want to be there! Bathrooms are disgusting, and the attendants there do not care either. Rides are fun but don't expect to be able to understand what any of the employees announce to you before the ride starts. Nothing at the park makes up for the service... Would rather spend a little more money, drive 1hr instead of 2, and get a Hershey Park Season Pass where even the employees are "Hershey Park Happy!"

!PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY!....This is the worst theme park I've visited. This is obviously a cash cow and the company has no interest in providing a positive experience. I would have rather gone to a county fair.
The rides are corny. The food was so horrible, I didn't let my children finish. The soda machine was broke, so if you wanted to get something to drink you had to walk across the street. 2 burgers, 1 grilled cheese and 2 waters cost $45. I discovered all this after being "sold" season passes.
Everything is in disrepair. The floors are horribly dirty. It was like walking into the third world....and I've been there. Being from Texas, it angers me that this place carries the Six Flags name.
Knowing this, I looked up the Headquarters and it is on Park Ave in New York City? Seriously? Another example of how we Americans will accept crap no matter the cost and then say....that was good...may I have another.

This is absolutely terrible service. They have false advertising with a poster of a combo with a large pizza, 4 drinks and salad. We get up to the register and the girl has no idea what we are talking about. She gave us 5 drinks with no ice, I asked for ice in our drinks, and she brought me a small cup of ice to share between 5 cups. I asked for more ice for my childs drink, and she said she already gave me ice. I said well we already split that up between the 5 of us. Terrible service for the price we paid. Next time we will wait until we leave to eat if we want pizza. Terrible service for the price.

Small wonder, not many exciting rides. We went on a Wednesday and that allowed us to enjoy extremely short wait times. The park needs a fresh coat of paint for the rides and there were a lot of attractions that were closed on a sunny day. I did not pay regular price because I am a member, if I did, I would say it is not worth the $71 bucks for one day entry. This park is basically set up to be just above a amusement fair. One serious issue was that a woman fell in front of us before we entered the park. My sister and brother in-law, both RN's stepped in to help, but it took over 10 minutes for first aid to get to the poor woman who took a nasty fall. Once we entered the park the First aid building was a minute walk from where she fell! That is scary. Good park for little kids, not adrenaline driven adults.

The process of getting into six flags was efficient with absolutely no wait times to get in. The employees welcoming us in were very friendly. There were no lines for the rides that my children wanted to get on. The only problem was that the rides were very very short. We make it a habit to come every year but this year was kind of disappointing. On the sky jumper ride, they were literally on that ride for about 30 seconds and then the attendant stopped it, I guess she was hot and over it but she had a fan, there was no line at all,and she was in the shade so I'm not sure what was up with that.

After we did the amusement park we headed to the Waterpark. The Waterpark was perfect for the hot day that we went on. Social distancing was being followed for the most part, although l do understand how hard it can be in a Waterpark. My kids definite enjoyed Hurrican Harbor more than the park but can I blame them? We will be back next year!

There water park is amazing. The wait was annoyingly long at times but hey safety first. The scariest water ride is the one you have to step into and the floor drops. Needless to say I rode every ride more than once except that ride. Other benefits include semi clean bathrooms, fast entry to rides, good music played by the DJ etc.

Moving on to the BAD.

As with any amusement park locker rentals and food are super expensive. Ain't nothing we can do about that. Unfortunately the wave pool produced No Waves! I refuse to swim in a child infested peepee pool with out waves. #GirlBYE. The day we went it seemed as though some of the Rollercoasters were or of commission.

All in all, me and my friends had a great time and would definitely go back!

Went this past weekend with some friends.. I don't know if maybe they dump the grease from the grills on the park grounds or maybe they need cadaver dogs because the smell was horrible. It made me not want to finish my food. But besides that we still had a nice time. Maybe I missed it but it would be nice if they had a larger ferris wheel.

Came for fright night because I won tickets. I felt like the park nickle and dimes people. Parking $15, go-carts $10 per person, hunted house pass $25 per person. I just feel like they should just charged a higher price and include all the stuff.

*GHETTO* LAZY AND RUDE are the only words to describe the people that work here. They act like they're making you a favor with that attitude. Ha, they're the ones working there like if you don't like your job go back to school I will bet 1/10 of them are working to pay college and if I'm wrong prove it with some manners...Seriously, if you have a car why are you even coming to this place. I'd recommend save up a little more and go to a place that is actually worth it. They seem to forget we the customers are the ones paying their check. Yes, there might be one of two workers that actually do their job but still customer service gets a 0.5/10.
Don't even make me talk about the dirty, smelly and old rides that barely work... Even if it was for free I'd think twice before coming back here...

I don't know how they have a 4 star rating. First off isn't handicapped friendly!!! Wouldn't even rent me a wheel chair!!! Park is small. Most rides wasn't working. Flash pass was not open. Staff is slow as dirt and ignorant. Food is poor. Very trashy just like this sidewalks leading up to this place and all over this state. Don't waste your money on a Diamond Elite season pass they won't honor it... this place is a dump just like the state it is in... threatened to lock my daughter and myself up for walking out the wrong exit which they clearly did not have any marked... save your time, money and go to GA or NJ... I will never come back to this horrible place.

Absolutely one of the worst staff ive ever seen. None of the staff acted like they cared and all had bad attitudes. Security harassed everyone and yelled at some kids. Literally. All of the young staff were on their phones and talking. One was talking to a friend and forgot to give me my change and I had to wait for someone competent to show up. HUGE disappointment. Good luck if you ever go here, its $10 for TWO bottles of water.

Six flags is a great place to spend the day with y...

Six flags is a great place to spend the day with your family or friends. They have the bezt rollercoasters, shows and water park in the D.C metro area. The downside is, be prepared to wait in long lines between 1-3 hours per ride on either side of the park unless you invest in the Flashpasses. Be prepared to spend at least $100 or more on food, snacks drinks, games and souvenirs as a bottle of watwr or 20 ounce bottle od soda is $5-6 each. During the peak summer months the park gets extremely congested, people get rude towards eachother. The shows are worth watching multiple times throughout the days as alot of effort and work is put into putting on over the top shows.
There are so many different season pass options to fit into individual or family budgets and the season passes pay foe themselves after going just twice. If you get one of the season passes, investing in a season parking pass as it will also pay for itself after two visits with parking being $20+ per visit.
Overall its a great place, they are always expanding and building new and more thrilling rides so thrill seekers will want to come back.
Frightfest changes the park into a creepy haunted park as the spirits come alive after dark during the Halloween months. Having a season pass includes Frightfest.

It's really run down. They ran out of ice pretty much everywhere by the end of the day. It was hard to find a place before noon to get a drink. Someone threw up on a ride and they loaded the car before even cleaning it up. Just nasty

My visit was terrible and I have been a pass holder for about 6 years. the customer service is done because no adult manages are investing these sassy teenagers. I literally stood in line at Beachside burger for 1 hour, only 2 cashiers who were struggling and no manager jumped on a register and assisted. i did say something to ther manager and she did nothing. Food was actually done and waiting on them. I told one young lady it was not sanitary to be wiping sweat from her brow with a napkin or not and touching her hair with gloves on and serving food. She got irate, commented about me to co workers and was rude. I addressed it and she said she can do what she earned, they get fo workers. A teenage manager came out, not caring but more as a responsibility to just pacify me and act like she was listening. Funny, I ran into a colleague who had an incident at another stand waiting in line 20 minutes. Don't get me wrong, they have fun rides for the kids but if you are an adult, you may mind paying your money to a company half stepping on staffing their facility and enforcing customer service that promotes the best experience possible.
