I'm a student at the center and I think that it's a wonderful experience that I'm very lucky to have. There's nothing like having a place to express yourself. I have always loved the center ft it's originality and if anyone has the chance, they should find a way to take art classes.

A wonderful neighborhood arts center, just blocks from the heart of AdMo. Plenty of music rooms, large art rooms, and a faculty that cares about enriching young people's lives and the community. You can also rent the theatre or other spaces for events.

An amazing space with the potential to better understanding for a better world. As I sit here, speaking to the young professionals I trust will help change our world, I see the energy of this place fill everyone with an excitement and ambition to be change agents. This year, Sitar hosted TEDx AdamsMorgan. Check them out: @TEDxAdamsMorgan

A full-service center, good for children, young people and adults, it would be good for parents to participate more so that the center continues to grow, a healthy place where children and young people can learn a lot and better than it is for parents who cannot pay for a special class of an instrument or dance. Congratulations on your anniversary and forever and thank you for all the support you give us.

About Sitar Arts Center

Sitar Arts Center is a non-profit organization that aims to provide opportunities for children and teens who are born into a world of unequal access to opportunity. The center offers high-quality visual, performing, and digital arts programs that engage students in creative expression while teaching them critical life skills.

At Sitar Arts Center, the focus is on empowering young people through the arts. The center believes that every child deserves access to quality arts education regardless of their background or financial situation. With this in mind, Sitar Arts Center provides scholarships and financial aid to ensure that all students have the opportunity to participate in their programs.

The center's programs are designed to foster creativity and self-expression while also teaching important life skills such as teamwork, communication, problem-solving, and leadership. Students can choose from a wide range of classes including dance, music, theater, visual arts, digital media production and more.

One of the unique aspects of Sitar Arts Center is its commitment to community engagement. The center partners with local schools and organizations to bring their programs directly into underserved communities. This allows more children and teens to benefit from the transformative power of the arts.

Sitar Arts Center has been serving Washington D.C.'s youth since 2000 when it was founded by Drs. Sharon Robinson and Timothy Jones. Over the years it has grown into one of the city's most respected non-profits with a reputation for excellence in arts education.

The success of Sitar Arts Center can be attributed in part to its dedicated staff who are passionate about providing young people with opportunities for growth and development through the arts. Many staff members are themselves artists who bring their own experiences as performers or creators into their teaching practice.

In addition to its regular programming during school terms throughout year-round classes on weekends too which makes it accessible for working parents too; Sitar Arts Center also hosts summer camps where students can immerse themselves in intensive workshops focused on specific art forms such as filmmaking or musical theater.

Overall if you're looking for an organization that truly cares about empowering young people through art then look no further than Sitar Arts Center!
