Rochester City Ballet is amazing and a true treasure for our community. It's rare to find such high quality ballet outside of NYC but we are lucky enough to have it here in upstate NY. Over the years this company has produced world class dancers like Sarah Lane a principal dancer at American Ballet Theater. It's awesome to see traditional and modern ballets being performed here including RCB's annual Nutcracker which is a staple in holiday traditions for many families. Ticket prices are reasonable and venues RCB performs at like Nazareth College fine arts center offer an excellent view of all the action. If you enjoy the ballet or are looking for something new to experienceI would highly recommend attending a performance.

There is an artist & athlete named Jessie Tretter in the company that I've had the honor to be a witness of, and she's utterly breathtaking.

I attended the performance of Dangerous Liasons on Saturday 3/23. Very unusual but wonderful performance. Special praise for Christopher Collins for his fantastic performance. Wonderful strength and talent.
