Over the last few years the college has lost its standards. Unrealistic conditions don't allow students to do any good projects or internships .
Faculty is not allowed to teach any good topics they are forced to just bother about marks. No opportunity for skill development. The trust is stingy and doesn't fund suitable amounts for projects.

This time the cut off ranks Have risen from 2k to 8k for ECE and 6k to 18k for mech.

Attempts are being made to improve, but in the current situation it's not a good place to begin your technical studies.

PS. College has no gate. NO GATE!! NO GATE!!???

Ordinary but racist teachers. Had I not dropped out of this place, I dont think I d be a civil servant today.

Not worth, Department of MBA has no recognition, there are no placement opportunities and the faculty tries to support but even they have their limitations.......For Namesake MBA Degree you could apply here apart from that there is no point joining this college.......Maybe by this review I want things to change in the Future.....

Ultimate 127 acre campus with 35 years old classic infrastructure

The worst experience ever .. Don't know regarding other branches but for EC never seen such unfriendly staffs .. Labs n all are hopeless.. Their ego is more important for them then a students life .. The govt. is sanctioning me the scholarship but these gentle people r not willing to give it to me simply making sme new rules n all .. I suggest to prefer sme other better college for EC .. For CS n other branches its good ..

Good infrastructure n peaceful atmosphere with greenery but far away from city .

Sir MVIT College architecture looking nice with standard stone design and Some more constructions are going on at the College Campus.

It is one of the best colleges under VTU affiliation with very good placements. Branches like CSE, ISE and ECE have almost 95-100% placements.

The campus is quite scenic quite and sprawling area. It also carries a reputation of being in top 10 Engg colleges in Bangalore. I happened to visit the campus for a pre placement talk.

Nice college, disciplined students, knowledgeable professors and a large campus with neat hostels.

As an alumnus of this great institute I hereby like to share few words about it. The institute is located off the Bangalore International highway and it is about 16 kms from the Hebbal flyover. The institute has its own transport system which is well connected to almost all parts of the city. It is also well connected by BMTC bus service, with route no. 283A passing through the campus.

The institute is spread on an approx. 130 acres of land along NH-7 adjacent to Air Force Station, Yelahanka. Inside the campus there is a separate men s & women s hostels, staff quarters, a 100 bed general hospital, cafeteria, sports complex - both indoor and outdoor and a bank.

The institute has many departments and the teaching faculties are very good and friendly nature. It offers both undergraduate and graduate courses. It also offers many research facilities and management courses. The training and placement cell is suppose to be one among the best in VTU. It develops students with the necessary skills and placement in top companies.

The institute hosts the famous annual inter-collegiate cultural fest named "Kalanjali" that sees participation from students at institutes from across the state. Apart from this there is an inter-collegiate technical fest named "Technofest" also conducted.

It's a good enough college which comes under VTU. Posses a Big Campus. Some faculties are good. Placement is also fine.

Sprawling campus of about 60000+ sq. Meters of built area and lush green surroundings, this college is a perfect balance of quality education and environment. Friendly and qualified staff with well equipped laboratories. Great place to study and pursue engineering.

Well my life's new chapter began in 2017 in this college. The infrastructure of the college is well maintained. The boys hostel is close to the college and the college is surrounded by everything that a student needs.

Wonderful campus with great placements for cse and ise and decent hostels but message good is average!

Campus exterior looks excellent , visited here for my son's Comed-k exam, and have a few people in my team from this college CS, very talentef

It's one of the oldest college in Bangalore. Good campus but bit far away from city

Sir MVIT ,one of the best engineering college in Bangalore , Very good and friendly teaching staff , very experienced staff , . Library too good and also collection is more so that every student gets proper help . Cricket ground , gym , indoor sports and a lot of facilities available. Hostels are too good , food is ok .
Canteen is also too good .

One of the top colleges in bangalore having very good placements.

Good college. Calm environment for engineers away from the busy city. The biotechnology department is one of the best.

Far from the main city,sitting quietly by the side of Airport Road Sir M.Visvesvaraya Institute of Technology has all the looks of a Government Institution because everything has been kept simple over here.A good educational institution which is untouched by Bangalore's spoilt and lavish life.Unlike other colleges.

Don't join For master here , only preference given here is for Cs, IS branches , if u don't have 60% throughout its utter waste
