Sino is excellent Chinese cuisine with good food, a fun atmosphere and a night club feel. The dim sum here is excellent, as are the lobster pot stickers. The sea bass and salmon are also both excellent. Great bar and quality wine list. This place is definitely a hot spot on the weekends (really all the time) and you will occasionally spot a 49ers player here. Pricey but not break the bank bad. Service is good and atmosphere is lively.

Our waitress was rlly sweet, the customer service and ambiance were great. The food was also delicious. There was a small mishap, but were given a full refund. One of the best and affordable places to eat in Santana Row.

Great Chinese food! Chinese is my favorite and I was very pleased with all the food I tried. I recommend the duck and the orange chicken. The restaurant may have a wait or even a line out the door but it is very short and the service is very friendly and quick.

Pros: Delicious food, deep house/pop music, friendly staff, clean bathrooms, and Prosecco for $45 a bottle!

Cons: I will happily pay for good food; however, do not sell yourself as "family style" when the portions are only enough to feed one or (maybe) two people, max. For example, the char siu sea bass was very moist, flaky, and overall delicious. I'd order it again. But you literally get a palm-sized fillet for a cool $40. Instead, call it what it really is... A "meal for one" and I'll have a good idea of how much to order for the table. Perhaps I am just spoiled from being able to catch my own fish or eating slabs of steamed sea bass from other Chinese restaurants, but still... For a good "family-style" example, look at Buca di Beppo.

Trendy. Nice for weekday lunch. Food was fine but nothing spectacular. Prices were high for average food. Restaurant has some romantic seating areas, but many areas were sectioned off and closed. Backround music and style of music was too loud for afternoon lunch. Female server was a bit rude.

Really pricey fancy-seeming Chinese food and dim sum. Not sure if it's worth it, especially since you can get much better tasting dim sum elsewhere, for much cheaper.

If you're barhopping in Santana Row though, then Sino is definitely one of the places to stop by, for the ambiance and a change of scenery.

Started out ok, but I had ordered a basil and beef dish and some dim sum, we got the dim sum within 10-15 minutes but after 30 minutes I asked if they forgot my order and I was told that it s on the way. I waited another 30 minutes and at that point I asked for the bill and asked that the not charge me for the beef I didn t get. They removed the charge and after we paid, a server shows up with my order. Not a good impression since I was in this business for over 18 years.

Awesome food for a fair price. The vibe here is "clubby" towards the entrance, but there is actually a nice eating area in the back where it is quiet enough to converse.

The menu had several things I'm looking forward to trying in the future. The service was great too!

Didn t get seated until an hour after our reservation. Once we sat down, another 30 minutes to get our order. Once we finally got our small and overpriced food, they turned off the lights as a sign they closing. As much as we wanted to leave, we couldn t because we hadn t received our check yet. Very unprofessional

A famous Chinese style restaurant. Start from food, It's not traditional Chinese food actually. They designed dishes more friendly for non Chinese people. Not so oil, so spicy but more salty and sweet. The declarations of this restaurant is very good. On the sentana row, they should keep this kind high-end style to keep customers coming, for sure, the luxury style reflects on price.
Its a good place for business talking or dating.

Our experience was a little mixed. They didn't have any tables, so suggested we sit in the lounge. But after 5+ minutes nobody had offered us a menu, and we decided to move on. The bar manager noticed us leaving and made sure we were set up properly. Then after 5 more minutes, a table had opened up.

The cocktails were good, especially the bourbon and chambord one I had. The food was mostly quite good too, but we were disappointed by the lobster and shrimp dishes we had (dumpling and pot sticker).

Overall, worth a return visit but can't count on everything being equally good.

Great food, delicious and delectable every time. The service can be slow and take a long time sometimes especially if you sit in the lounge couch areas or at the bar trying to order a drink, but my fav is the lunch experience. Your food is quick, and your server will check on you, just hard to find tnem when you are ready to leave and close out. $18 for lunch which includes soup and the portion size is so filling! They also have good happy hours too! I really love the food here. I ve had some bad experiences coming for dinner on a Friday or Saturday night but def enjoy HH or lunch best.

Love the char siu smoked seabass here! I come here for dimsum too once in a while. It's pretty over priced for Chinese food and dimsum but where else can you sit outside and enjoy this type of food :). It has a trendy atmosphere and the bathrooms are pretty quirky. I definitely did a double take when I realized you could see the men's room on the other side when you are washing your hands!

I will never go to this restaurant again! Dim Sum Collection tastes very very very bad, like frozen food got over-steamed. Fillings of dim sums keep leaking out when I try to pick them up using chopsticks. Services are bad too, we waited more than 20 minutes for our dishes because a servant said he made a mistake on our order. Well... he shouldn t make a promise to say that our orders will be ready in 10 minutes when we first made our orders. After our dishes finally came, he kept asking us how we feel. Which is very bothering! Based on food and services we experienced, we would highly not recommend this place.

Overall the food is so so or more to bad. Shechuan chicken is not recommened. The serving order was wrong. I expected dimsum then main dishes, but dimsum was served in the middle of eating the main dishes.

Had a date night with the woman, so she wanted to try Sino. The inside was very nice and we were seated right away. We each ordered a drink, can't remember which ones...must've been a good night! . For dinner the gf ordered the Mongolian beef w/steamed rice. I was stuck between the salmon or the Char Siu sea bass. The waiter recommended the sea bass, and I got the Buddha's fried rice and string beans as well. Food came out quickly. Mongolian beef was good, my gf had no complaints. My food came out a little after hers, but when it arrived...man!!! The fried rice was tasty and a sort of healthier version, and that sea bass....delicious!!! It was flavorful and soft and flaky. The rice and sea bass were so good that I noticed my girl starting to eat my stuff!!! Smh! String beans were good. Waiter was a little slow, but overall a good place to try.

It s literally normal dim sum served in a fancy setting to up the price. Didn t eat anything that made me feel like I m paying for better quality and taste than normal cheap dim sum. The servers and food runners spilled a thick sauce on the chair holding all of the table s jackets, purses, scarves and even a graduation certificate and didn t say anything until WE realized.
Wouldn t come back here. I would much rather pay for an authentic dim sum experience in Cupertino that has servers and chefs who have been doing what they re doing for most of their lives, and more importantly know how to hold plates without spilling anything.

Food is expensive and mediocre for me , but it s my personal opinion.Presentation of food was good. Service was way too slow. They gave our birthday cake to someone else even when the name was on it .They replace with other cake .Overall,Place is nice.Onetime experience is good enough for me.

Great place for Chinese food. The atmosphere is trendy and lively. The bar is amazing and has everything you would want. The dim sum menu is awesome. The chicken drum sticks are super addicting. The Brussel sprouts are super tasty as well. Staff is attentive and knowledgeable.

Not sure I'm digging this place. This used to be the spot to impress your girl with the nice decor, well dressed people, trance like music. Now it's not quite what it used to be with the completely casual crowd. Some people even wearing shorts and flip-flops. It closes too early at midnight, not enough space to dance. it's definitely in the bar/restaurant/lounge category. The drinks are decent and the music they played on Friday was hip hop which can be good depending on the crowd/people.

Great for drinks, Not recommended for Dinner: The atmosphere was fun and lively, with great music and crowd. This is definitely a great place for grabbing drinks at the bar. However, we went for dinner on a Saturday night and found the food and service were sub-par, at best, especially at the price point. To start, they were out of the appetizer (mushroom dumplings w/ truffle oil) we planned on getting prior to our visit. We quickly found a different appetizer (lobster pot-stickers), which was nothing memorable. For the main course, we ordered kumquat chicken and chow fun with chicken. The kumquat chicken was overcooked, chewy, and dry. The chow fun with chicken wasn't too bad, but again nothing we would be excited to get again or come back for. Overall, the food came out pretty slow (which we didn't mind that much) and the service was also slow for taking orders, refilling water, etc. Definitely won't be coming back for dinner- will consider coming back for drinks.
