Seems more kid-friendly now with Kidstop, a science-based playground, and displays/installations at the right height for even toddlers. Would have liked to see more real-world AI displays for the currently running theme.

This is a good place for children to learn and appreciate science. You need to be there at 1pm at least because the place is really huge and there is alot of activities to do.Butterfly garden is similar to sentosa's butterfly parl but this enclosure is way smaller and you can see butterflies lay eggs more often.
Be sure to try all the activities and enjoy watching documentaries in the omnitheater.

A lovely place to spend easily one whole day with kids. There are so many exhibits to try. Bring extra clothes to play at the water playground. Finding taxi might be difficult at end of day, you can approach the visitor center to get assistance. There is a local style coffee shop inside and a McDonald's outside. Don't forget to check the website to know science show schedules and special events going on.

Never bored of this place! Wonderful ambience and learning or re-learning science is definitely an eye opening experience. Science center has been consistently upgrading and bringing in new equipments and designs to spice up that learning experience. Definitely a great place to bring your children on weekends! And fully aircondition so great for older folks too!

The Science Centre in Singapore has some spectacular big attractions like the Tesla coil and fire tornado to go with numerous smaller activities and displays. It is enough fun that our kid wanted to visit a second time and they appear to host interesting exhibitions regularly. Sometimes the real science seems to get lost in the play and the promotion of Singapore compared to some smaller science centres, but there are enough areas covered that most visitors should get something out of it.

The main Science Centre building is geared towards older kids. In there, the mirror maze and the zoetrope were two of our favourites. The science shows such as the fire tornade were pretty entertaining. The water play area is a get-all-wet kind of place, so bring towels and a change of clothes.

Kid's Stop is a fun place to spend an afternoon with very young children.

If we had discovered it earlier, we would have spent more time outdoors in the smal little park beside the MacDonalds, where there are kinetic sculptures and other interesting contraptions. This part of the Science Centre is open to the public for free.

Would be great if there are better food options in the building. Good thing there's a mall within walking distance and re-entry to ticketed sections are allowed all day.

Really awesome place. My cousins (who are kids) loved it and enjoyed there. A great place to learn science and brain games. Beside it there is an Omni theatre where you can watch shows through a 180 degree screen, basically the screen is hemi-sphere screen. The shows are educational shows like Aurora lights, dinosaurs and etc. Good place for families and kids.

The science centre provided a lot of activities the children can enjoy while give them useful information in fun ways. The place is not very big, but they offer different ways of studying such as movie room, experiment, exhibition, etc. Tried some of the experiment and they did help the scientific learning process.

Educational place for small children and teenagers. The place is good and the plot is okay, the officers are middle-aged and friendly. Suitable to bring children here for learning about logic and sciene.

This is a great place especially for kids or even adults which is interested in understanding science in an interactive way. Personally I've been here for 3 hours and I don't think that's even enough for me to explore the entire place! The Tesla show however is cancelled until further notice (guess they were trying to minimise crowding at the area) ... Was really looking forward to that . And since there isn't as many shows anymore for now, the closing time is actually at 5pm. Do check the website for more information. Other interactive activities such as the Mirror Maze is still open (with proper precautions done, eg. Minimizing the number of people inside). The one activity whereby it covers human phobias are open as well.

Fun place, even though the main exhibits are really dated and needs a revamp to keep up with the young generation. We need to rethink this building. Also needs to be at a more centralised and accessible location.

so so so fun and engaging there

so so so fun and engaging there
walking around the science centre and entering all the different exhibits with my friends was definitely a blast .
i suggest checking out all the mind boggling optical illusions and the mirror maze - beware , you might not be able to find your way out !! they let in a group of people into the maze at one time , so you can just follow somebody till the end of the maze i guess haha

Good
