I don't know. I feel this place is stuck in a time warp. Everything feels dated. Can't wait for the new science center to be ready and see if they manage to update the overall feel to be in line with the new millennium.

A very interesting Centre where science is expressed or displayed in an easy understanding manner.
Science in space, anatomy, electricity, physic, dinosaurs, astronomy, biology, robotic and many more.
There are many competition, interesting display, omni-movies and activities to wonder, feel, touch, feast and appreciate.

It is a very good place to take your children to walk. It also allows children to learn a lot of scientific principles. There are many departments in the department. You can choose to go all the way or a small part. Adults also learn a lot from the science. It is a good place for a big family.

We just spent an entire day exploring here. My three children enjoyed exploring, playing and learning. A few of their favourites were the movie, We are Stars, the mirror maze and the VR rides.

Every time I find science related facilities I try to visit it.
When I went there, I thought it s so Singapore!
I can imagine how Singapore government put priority on educations.
There are a lot of exhibitions, interesting pictures, science shows, etc..., even 3 or 4 years old kids can enjoy themselves.
Worth to visit.

We went to the museum and the butterflies upclose. The museum is too mind blowing for young kids so i think its best to go to the kidz world if you have younger kids. The best part in the museum is the butterflies upclose where young kids could enjoy the butterflies. And i think there's a waterpark also which is included in your museum ticket so best to bring a wetsuit and extra clothes for kids if you plan to just play there.

I really wanted to give this place 4 or 5 stars, I really did, but it just didn't meet the standards I had for it. While the center itself is impressive I was disappointed that many of the more interactive and impressive exhibits we're broken. The shows should also be more frequent allowing more people to see each of them. The kids most certainly enjoyed the center so there is that.

5 star place for kids to know, play, love science, tons of useful and informative events, one of the best place for parent with kids to go. Strange few tourists come here. Look forward to the new science centre plan at jurong area.

The location is a bit inconvenient and not very popular, but the inside is large and varied.
You can learn science while actually experiencing it, and there is also a planetarium and an indoor playground, so children are delighted as well. The arrival was late and it was only 3 hours and I didn't have enough time at all.

Great place to expose yourself to Science. Since it's free entry for Singaporeans during non-peak period, it's worth a visit. Regardless of age, you will still marvel over the wonders of modern science.

It's a nice place but I had higher expectations. I am commenting on this as two adults without kids. We like science centres and we wanted to see what it offered to also adults. We also had a lot of spare time so we visited it. I wouldn't put this as a must see on any tourist list if you are short on time or visiting for few days. But anyways, you can see most of what it offers within half a day.

We liked their fire tornado show and the robot arms show was cool (though its targeted to kids), and we also liked some exhibitions which were educational and informative. However, I felt some of the exhibitions were more heavy on the reading text rather than interactivty. Some of the interactive tools didn't work especially on the robot exhibition.

It also had extra exhibitions like the butterfly exhibit which had separate tickets and I thought that should have been included in the original ticket.

The labs offered in the "be a scientist for a day" exhibit were very disappointing and basic. But the staff that worked there were very nice and helpful (all staff there were very nice).

It's mostly made for an audience of children, but I felt 30% to 40% of it is suitable to adults too (though expect to read a lot). I think this place needs a lot more effort to catch up to the level of science museums that I've seen in London and Amsterdam.

The first and original Singapore science centre. They have several permanent installations as well as several guest installations.
There are shows such as the fire tornado, tesla coil, and other shows. Worth to see.

This place is amazing, not just for kids. There is also a hidden outdoor space with material explaining tropical botany and a great place for a picnic. One tip: food options at the museum are terrible. Jurong East with all its shopping malls is 10 minutes away on foot

If you're heading to kids top there are 2 sessions. Do take note that that there are only a limited number of tickets before they are sold out. Best to give them a call before heading down to determine how crowded it is.

I visited this place in the summers of 2008. It was a lively place with lots of models, real-time experimental labs, live shows, and gift store. I had the pleasure to compete with my peers in the Forensics lab, and Robotics labs. We also had a fun time in the outdoor space and spent almost 5 days in the centre during our educational tour. I would suggest a visit for about 4 hours.
