SCAMMER ALERT!! Please MAKE SURE you count your money and always ask and double check the RECEIPT before leaving. I had a bad experienced with one of their money exchanger guys. It was Sept 2, around 10 to 11am. Semi-bald hair, 2nd counter from entrance. He tried to scam me. He didn't give me the correct conversion amount, he didnt want me have my receipt, but i waited, and i waited for TOO long. Started to feel that there was something wrong. Then, I noticed $$ was missing, it didn't match to what was on the receipt. So i went back to him and when i was about to say a word, but he suddenly he handed me the missing amount. It was on his other hand. Then the person at 1st counter and him were looking and smiling at each other... hmm. Partners in crime?

The best currency exchange I have found in Singapore. They have excellent rates, which are usually within one cent or less of the actual rates for the day. The workers are very thorough and counted my money and other currency multiple times for accuracy. There is a lot of activity on that street, so make sure you hide you money well and that no one is watching/following you.

even though they might have the best rates they have no manners and very rude and they cannot even calculate while listening to the customers which I feel is a basic skill a money changer should have. Do not recommend even despite their reasonably good rates

I used the money changer opposite here on September 23, 2018.
The rate at this time was 0.01209.
There is also a money changer in Mustafa Center, but the rate was better than that.
I took a look at the money changers around Little India, and this was the best rate.
When I was looking at it, I noticed that the money changer next to the hotel had a bad rate.
Well, even if it's bad, it's only a few hundred yen instead of 10 yen.

Bad

Used to be the best place to change. So went back and this time got treated as an imbecile who don't know how to count. Was told a rate, then when money changed 2 more decimals were added behind. Asked for refund and left feeling smacked.

I found it an interesting place to buy a little bit of everything, although I don't know if the material (especially photographic, which was the one I noticed) is real or are copies. They are places where I would only buy cheap things. The good thing is that there was food from many countries and the prices in general
