I m having a cup of gorgeous Assam this morning in the middle of quarantine thanks to Simpson & Vail s excellent service. Thanks for this wonderful product, fantastic selection, and quick service even in the middle of the apocalypse.

Wonderful selection of more teas and tea accessories than you can imagine! And the people are very helpful -even for tea beginners like me.

Great selection of high-quality whole leaf teas and house-roasted coffee. Leaves Teavana in the dust! A real hidden gem, and a must visit for tea and coffee lovers.

I am a tea drinker, no coffee for me. I decided to give this company a try for the first time as I saw the high reviews. I must say overall I was very disappointed in their products. I gave them three stars as overall the prices are quite reasonable, otherwise the rating would have been lower. I should say my tastes are towards flavored teas, both herbal and caffeinated. I found their blends to be weak and nondescript , nothing I would choose to purchase again. The only tea I would rate slightly higher was the White Ambrosia, it was nice, but still not one I would purchase again. One tea had a horrible taste, Creamy Toasted Coconut oolong, it tasted bitter and burnt, even when brewed as directed. That tea I would rate a 1.

I have received holiday gift's of their tea's from friends each for year's. It was time to make my own trek to the store. Wow. Their tea selection is next to none. Special blends of Coffee's too. They'll explain the intricacies of brewing a perfect cup of tea and, if you wait, will serve you a smidge from their selection. Tea type and best practices can be found @ their website. If you drive up, you'll see a nondescript structure. Once you walk in, you'll find a welcoming hot/cold drink center set on the shore of a peaceful pond.

A slice of Heaven! So many loose leaf teas & coffee beans from all over the world! The coffee is ground fresh for you. A family owned business, and they are so helpful and friendly each time I visit. I love to hear about the blends of teas, and there are always teas & coffees set up for you to taste. If you haven't stopped in yet, you're really missing out on such a wonderful place!!

I worked with Simpson and Vail over the phone, and they were just wonderful! My mother gave me a tea that had fallen into the abyss of her tea collection, which was about a decade old - it quickly became my favorite tea. When I ran out, all I had to go on was a Whole Foods bulk label marked "Blue Mist". After much searching, I finally found a photo of a blend that looked the same, and it lead me to Simpson and Vail. They confirmed that they did indeed sell in bulk about 10 years ago, to the specific Whole Foods where it was originally purchased! I loved the 'old' tea, but I couldn't believe how aromatic and flavorful the blend was fresh! Their customer service was above and beyond, and their tea is phenomenal. I'll absolutely be ordering from them again. :)

I come here whenever I need tea. My favorites are Edgar Allen Poe, Sunny Afternoon, and the Dragon green tea.

5 Star tea for sure! I recently had a sample of a root beer tea by another company and loved it! But when I went to reorder it, I wasn't sure I wanted to sell a kidney just to get some tea, so I started looking for other companies that had root beer tea and found Simpson & Vail. They have a great selection and great prices so I decided to give it a shot. Oh my! The dessert teas are amazing! The Caramel Walnut Shortbread and Carrot Cake are my favorites so far; the Almond Sugar Cookie has real almond slivers in the tea; and the root beer... smells and taste just like old fashion sarsaparilla. I highly recommend picking up a couple of their teas to try.

Thank you for posting updates and informing us the steps you guys are taking to ensure hygiene and safety of your coffees. We have been buying coffees from you for the past few months. Our coffee consumption has gone up by quite a bit since we have been mandated to work from home. I was getting worried that we would be without coffees! Thank you for continuing to serve your "printed-catalogs-serve-us-no-purpose" customer!

Very inviting quaint tea shop with quality loose teas delicious and reasonably priced... the owner is wonderful I love listening to his stories of history and is very knowledgeable of the surroundings and business.
The staff is very friendly and accommodating ..
I highly recommend this place for gift giving or just to have something to sip in your own quiet time...

This is such a pleasant place to spend time. The staff is lovely and knowledgeable, the old quarry setting is beautiful, and they offer a wide variety of teas, coffees, and gifts.

Excellent loose-leaf tea blends at a very reasonable price. I ordered a bunch of floral blends the first time, because they had so many delicious-sounding mixes. But I was concerned since I'd never actually tasted their teas. No need to worry, they were all excellent!

A doctor recommended that I take Tylenol for my G.I pains (not happening). I purchased Rooibos-lemon ginger! Oh my GOODNESS my pain subsided after my 1st cup!! Plan to return very soon! I got my eye on the West Africa Rooibos. Thank-you for waiting on me few minutes after closing :) also, I raved to all my tea lovers to check you guys out!
