I was after an in-print book that was published in 2006 which Waterstones had refused to order for me. Fortunately I contacted 'Simply Books', which I hadn't previously known about, and there was no problem at all. I would highly recommend this shop.

Nice little independent book shop with a small cafe. You can also have coffee upstairs, quite a few little nooks to have a drink and a cake. Small selection of books, but what they have is interesting. Will visit again

What an amazing place - I just love the smell of new books. The cafe is lovely too and there is nothing better than going here, flicking through some books and having a brew.

I haven't been able to go in a while sadly, but I used to work right next door and this store was always worth dropping in during my lunch break or after work. Everything is lovingly displayed and very modern with a broad selection. It is also run by a nice, helpful owner and his staff is great too! Can't wait to come back.

What wonderful people and a really efficient approach they provide. I often order my books over the phone, when the books arrives, usually next day, they send me a text to confirm availability. Walked in, staff were lovely. Saw a manager yell at their employee for a small mistake. I hope they find some place better to work.

Fabulous local bookstore, even has a small cafe for you to enjoy your new book with a brew or hot chocolate for the kids. Delicious cakes. Staff are all really friendly and helpful
A haven of civilised calm and learning. It is the best of all possible things; an independent bookshop fully engaged with the local population and their children's reading happiness. Bookshop comes complete with cafe and home made soup. What's not to love here?
