Simon Karls Review

So far very impressed with all aspects and very happy for this company to represent us in the renting of our bungalow....

This bunch of cowboys let my house - They told me that they had a nice professional couple with good jobs and contracts were signed.. When they rent didn't get paid I visited the house to find an unemployed pregnant 21 year old single mother with a herd of smelly cats was the tenant.
I would not recommend Simon Karl at all - avoid them!

Worst agent ever.

He does nothing to resolve dangerous issues in the houses he lets out. we had a serious issue with the gas boiler and he did send someone out but it was never fixed . we had a period of 41 days without heat or hot water and all he could say was it was not right we had to suffer this. under his instructions , we had heat and hot water after 41 days but at a cost. the gas fitter stripped down the boiler, left the bottom of the boiler off and we could see and hear the flames when the boiler went on. We were assured that this was all ok but we decided to call an expert gas engineer and Simon Woodham arranged for the boiler to be rebuilt within ten minutes so the gas board didn't see the dangerous situation he had put my family in. He does not take responsibility for anything that goes wrong and blames his clients. He informed me that his client was not going to sort our heating and this was in the middle of November last year and it was still broken right up till we moved out on march 2014. The oven didn't work from December 2013 and the white goods can only be described as death boxes. They smelled like an animal had died inside them as the mess inside was putrid. I hate this man with a passion as he is a cheat and does not deserve to serve the public as it is only a matter of time before someone dies due to faulty appliances that he could have sorted but they put money before safety. I have not over played this situation regarding this worm of a man but this is my honest review of the man and the agency he owns. Beware, you have been warned. OHHHH and he doesn't like giving your deposit back. I will continue to add more to the story as it gets my blood boiling just thinking how little he cared that we had two daughters and a grandson living in the house and he couldn't give a damn on our safety. HSE are getting a copy of all photos regarding the heating.

Simon woodham contacted me by Email to ask if he releases my deposit that he has would I stop this review and other material that I have . I suppose he doesn't get it, Its not all about money but a safe level of care.

When we moved to the area 18 months ago we used Simon Karl. There service has been exceptional and professional. And made our move less stressful. We have decided now to move to a bigger house and we are using them again. Still there service is very good. I would defiently recommend them to anyone. Carley who works there is an asset to them really helpful. Always has time for you and answers any questions you may have.

Used them as a rental agent, worst service I have ever experienced. Poor communication, just didn't seem to care!

We instructed Simon Karl 5 years ago to rent our house out, they found the perfect tenant who pays every month on time and has kept the house in pristine condition. We have recommended friends to them over the years and they have been equally as happy. From our experience I can wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone renting or selling their house.
