Silver lake resort Reviews

Called 2 days before arrival date confirm room it had a walk in shower and tub. On way to Resort called to let them know on way and again confirm room accommodations. Was told room all set shower and tub. Get to resort room was given. Get to room no walk in shower. Couldn't get in tub because of health problems. Call front desk gave a temporary key to new room with shower and tub. Had a pool view and nice room. Returned key told check in desk would change next day after activities. Was told no problem room was tied to existing reservation. Would be saved. Got back to Silver Lake Resort some incompetent front desk clerk gave the Room to someone else. This was after it was only to be there for the move. No one could tell what happened to the room why it was gone. Then clerk tried to give a unacceptable room looking over the parking lot. Then she said there was a free upgrade from the room at check in . Was told they mixed it up it was there fault they gave the wrong room to begin with. Then gave away the replacement room . Had to move rooms at 10:00 pm that night. Because was afraid that room would disappear too. What bad management at the resort I would be afraid to go there again. Too much incompetence. I've been to other hotels and resorts NEVER had an experience like this. And they want you to buy here. They got to be kidding.

An excellent resort for families visiting Disney World Animal Kingdom Epcot center. Very well located with lot of good amenities in the facility.

Silver lake is a beautiful hotel, perfect for a getaway. The rooms were clean and friendly staff. Their breakfast outlet sold your typical breakfast items with affordable pricing.

The security at the entrance post was good, however, there was a few times where my husband and I saw vehicles coming in from the exit because no person was at the exit.

The pool was big and spacious. There are approximately 4 pools for all guest.

Last weekend, I and my Daughter, Grandson & his wife and 4 yr. old son were guests at Silver Lake Resort. I am handicapped and needed an electric scooter. The personnel at Silver Lake were so helpful and accommodating and it was wonderful. Our Suite was clean and fully stocked with very nice and WORKING items which made things so much easier. Thank you to all the efficient and competent staff!!!

I stayed at silver lake for the proximity to animal kingdom/animal kingdom lodge (where friends were staying)
It was literally a short 5 minute drive to get to them. I stayed 2 nights and enjoyed my time there. My room was very clean and updated. There was a nice balcony. We did not have time to enjoy all the amenities but looked like a great place for family fun! I would definitely stay again!

Excellent resort! Clean Condos. Freiendly service. Each building is a mini hotel with lobbies, snack machines, security is excellent. Quiet relaxing resort. Easy access to get Lyfts to the parks. Water pressure is awesome even on 3rd floor. Kitchens have everything you need.

We spent 2 nights at this resort and it was amazing. The team members (front desk, housekeeping, security, maintenance) were outstanding. We stayed in the 1700 building and found it immaculate. The pool area is fun with games and a wonderful Cabana bar. The location could not be better, the back entrance is adjacent to Disney parks/Springs property.

Normally I would write something positive about my journey.. So today I'm going to write about what was missed.. There was no Ice machine in the building? We had to go to the pool to get ice.. I didn't even have an ice bucket in my room... Everything else was nice and clean..

Resort was clean and comfortable. The pool and jacuzzi were very nice and there is a mini store and arcade on site. It was conveniently located with lots of stores in a short 5 minutes Drive . As far as the tour is concerned, it was not good. We never were shown around the property. It seems they were having some staffing problems. The person who work with me was amazing. Such a great personality. Her name was Rose Margarita and she really knows her stuff! Overall a very pleasant experience. I would definitely visit here again.

Only had a view of the parking lot from the balcony and the beds are too soft for people with bad backs. The bathroom jacuzzi is great. There are pools for every building, but the main pool area has 3 large pools, one kiddie pool with a fountain, and a hot tub. Good food is served at the pool Cabana and good music. There's a game area and a convenience store that also serves food.
