I want to give a big 6 stars to the staff that cares for the restrooms. Not once did I walk into a restroom that was disorderly, out of stock or yucky wet. What a huge job for such a big park and the staff there does a great job. And thank you for all the hand sanitizers... very nice!

Silver Dollar City has been part of my life for well over 50 years now! My parents started taking us there in early 1960's when it was much smaller but still so much fun! As an adult and then a father myself, I knew I wanted to share the atmosphere and good times with my new family too. And, as the years progressed, I have been fortunate to be able to take my grandchildren there now for those same reasons! Oh, what memories we have made! Take a trip back in time to the 1880's and enjoy the shows, the rides, the food, and make memories of your own! Did I mention the food? It's wonderful! Did I mention the fantastic atmosphere? It's awesome! I could write a small novel about my memories at SDC, but I just want to encourage everyone to discover this place for yourselves. It's an experience that you'll remember for life! Five Stars!

It had been years since we had been able to visit and had been looking forward for months to finally being able to visit SDC. And truly it didn t disappoint.

The employees (overall) were very friendly and helpful. The shows (granted there were less than normal) were good. The shopping was fantastic. And the rides were even better than I remembered. And the limited capacity at the park made for a very empty park (nice for us as visitors). The free tram rides out to all the parking (not just paid parking) were a great bonus. And the mask free zone was awesome.

The biggest changes are (of course) due to COVID. Face coverings are required. Temperature checks upon arrival at the park (and they give you a bracelet to wear proving you passed). They require you to use the provided hand sanitizer before getting on every ride. Social distancing on the ride vehicles. Frequent sanitation of of the seats on the rides. Social distancing in lines and shops. Plexiglass barriers at cash registers. Frequent sanitation of tables after guest use (often between every guest). Limited capacity at park.

Exceptions to the above: a couple of the water rides let you take the masks off - while you are in the boat. They are not as stringent about enforcing proper use of face coverings while you are outside in the street (as soon as you enter a building or a ride line they are pretty strict). Occasionally it is up to you to enforce your social distancing preferences - which is super easy, just politely ask someone if you can have a bit more space.

Ok - now for a bit of my opinion. If you read the above and are concerned that they are not doing enough- you probably shouldn t visit (or possibly leave your house...ever). No matter what they policies they add, there is going to be a little bit of risk. Life comes with risk and Silver Dollar City has implemented more than enough safeguards. I would feel safe bringing a newborn or grandparent with health issues...even during this epidemic.

I've been going here since I was very young and while they have not changed much on the theme and style, the constant addition of new rides and the events the park has throughout the year gives the place a very friendly and happy vibe that keeps me coming back year after year

Overall, our extended family had a great time here. The park was very clean and the majority of the staff were awesome.

We had to cancel the second day from our two day tickets due to weather, which was a simple process.

To anyone who decides to do two day tickets though, be aware, that two-day tickets are not sold at the park. You need to call the SDC ticket call # to order those tickets. This delayed out entering the park by about an hour the first day, but other than that, our family had a great time for the 2.5 days we were in the park.

Always a good time! Love the History and the fact they they have added a new ride since last time we were here. The classics are fantastic and the food options (a little light for non-meat-eaters) is awesome! Blacksmiths and Glass Blowers are great to watch. [Prickly Pear Juice..SO Good! ]

They have a great range of rides for all ages; I loved that! They do need more covered area's for bad weather and to eat at. If you love to spend money or window shop there is plenty of places to do that, you can not walk ten feet without seeing or walking right into some sort of booth. The one thing that I did not like at all is that there are people every where including right in the front gate stopping you to take an over priced picture. Paths need to be clear from workers; if I want a picture I will ask for one, if I feel like I am being forced to take one every ten steps I am going to get rude and will absolutely not buy one. Now with the being said the ride operators and entertainers are amazing and always in character. They also need to make the exit and entrance signs a bit more view-able as many of the rides are confusing as to how to get in the gate. The first day we paid 13 dollars to have preferred parking which is still about a .25 mile from the gate up hill. The second day we got free parking with front door shuttle service! This makes no sense at all. do not waist your 13 dollars.

It was pouring rain, but we had a good time. Phoenix Fire was a great show! Steam train was good. We did a cooking class that we both enjoyed. Looking forward to going back. All the park employees were friendly and informative.

We love the rides and entertainment here at SDC. They offer water rides in the park area too which are good for the hot summer days. The crafts they do around the park are enjoyable to watch. Plenty of places to visit in the park. The parking is made easy with the trams they provide.

Very fun park, all the rides were fun and shows were great. My favorite rides were outlaw run and wildfire. My favorite show was the one with the magician. Great park, hope to come back again! (I went 2 days and the second day they shut down everything because of weather. If I went just one day and it was the day where they shut everything down, I wouldn't be happy. So make sure to check the weather before going, once they shut a ride down it doesn't seem like they reopen it.)

Been coming her for years. The Dickens Christmas Carol at the Opera House. These folks put on a spectacular show all the time! It's always a must see. Very talented singers! The white "Spirit" is always HILARIOUS.... A huge thank you to all the cast, musicians and everyone else involved.

Pumpkins Nights was a brilliant SDC idea. It was a bit like the popular christmas lights, but with a pumpkin theme. Lit up, carved pumpkins EVERYWHERE, plus lights in the trees and green lighted buildings. Silly fun music playing through speakers anything from "One eyed purple people eater" to theme song of "The Addams Family." A FUN atmosphere for sure.
We started the evening with the amphitheater show, which was great, then walked around the park. Great time. Again, brilliant SDC idea.

I would recommend this place for a little bit older kids. My three year old wasn't a huge fan. They have a few things for littles, but he wasn't interested in them. I will try again next year when he is a bit older. It is a lot of fun for big kid and adults if you like rides and crafts.

I've been going to SDC for over 30 years and it still remains one of my favorites. They have come a long way over the last few years in adding more roller coasters. They have some good ones now. Deducting a star because they don't have a free "fast pass" system.

Pretty disappointed. Website said celebrate the New Years with them, and they closed at 7pm. Charged full price when only part of the rides were running. A lot of businesses not open. Lights were great though.

SOOOOO GOOOOOOD. This is my second favourite theme...

SOOOOO GOOOOOOD. This is my second favourite theme park on Earth, beaten only by EPCOT. The theming, the decoration, the immersion, everything is just so authentic and rustic feeling, while at the same time having just enough modern flair and accommodations that you'll be in this sort of limbo between the 2020s and the 1920s. The coolest thing is that SDC actually started as a real mining town, and you can still tour the cave it was built around through an entrance in the gift shop, which I have never seen or heard of at another park in my entire life.
The only issues are with a couple of the ride systems not working properly. Just small things, like the surprise right at the end of Fire in the Hole not working past the first few rows, or some of the guns in Flooded Mine being bugged out or not even working at all. Small complaints, but I can see how they could irk some more picky visitors.
This is an absolute must if you're staying in or around Branson, just make sure you're ready to walk up hills, cause this place doesn't know what terraforming is.

This is the best theme park I've ever been to. I've been to many. Including Disneyland many times. SDC really takes you back to a time that you're familiar with in history but have never experienced.
It's such a clean park. It's so family friendly and oriented. The food is amazing, especially Clara Belle's famous cinnamon bread. I love how they stay pure to the historic displays and crafts. They have a real blacksmith, an old time candy shop as well as taffy shop, a glass blower a leather worker and more. All of these places perform their duties as they would in the late 1800s.

There are so many good things to say about this place. The rides are amazing. Outlaw run is my all time favorite rollercoaster. Their new raft ride is so fun.
The only thing I wish is that they had a few more dark rides. They have a couple and they're awesome. But overall this place is amazing. They have great entertainment as well. I recommend everyone see the homestead pickers while there.

I also recommend eating at the mill, right after you walk through the gift shop after you enter the park it's on the right. We had dinner there. It's served family style. Everything was delicious their brisket and fried chicken was perfect! Their mac and cheese was so good. I couldn't stop eating!

Surprisingly good and plenty to do and see inside. Definitely worth it for kids and adult. You can bring your own food and drinks but they have lots of of food choices inside. Marble cave was a great bonus and a must see! Just be ready to take 750 stairs up and down! My 3 year old brave it just fine. One day is not enough we went on a two day access. Yes parking is free!! If you can go on weekday its not too crowded. Friday was super packed!!

Great theme park that takes you back to the 1880s. The craftsman and little shops provide a delightful backdrop. The rides and shows are also excellent. Great family destination. Be sure to do your research before arriving.

We were at SDC today and I have to use an electric cart. The cart stopped working so I did what I was told to do and went into a shop to report it wasn't working. The ladies were trying to find the number to call and one of the men says don't call yet and goes outside to try to fix it. So I follow him outside and he can't fix it. When he went back in to call, I tried to give him my cart card with the # on it. He told me he didn't need it. So then he had to come back outside to get the number off the cart. I guess the ladies inside told him I was irritated because he came back outside to "apologize" in a rather aggressive manner. I told him he needed to back off with the aggressiveness and that I was unhappy because I was in pain and had to do more walking than necessary because he wanted to fix the cart. He told me he was there to apologize so I wouldn't "go up there and tell them." I continued to make it obvious that I wasn't interested in speaking to him but he kept talking. So I just started saying thank you in a match to his tone. As he was walking away he said I'm sorry you're having a bad day. Very sarcastically.
I have been a long time season pass holder and I know that is not the level of customer service that SDC strives for.

Went during the holiday season. Crowds were terrible, of course, but expected. To save my knees the pain, I rented a scooter, which really helped. Unfortunately, while the park appears to have some handicap accessible areas, few shops accommodate scooters, and the crowd is such that if you cannot stand for a long time waiting in line, you need your scooter. The park is otherwise great for all ages.

This place is pretty cool. I would recommend going on wild fire of all the roller coasters. And for places to get snacks, I would recommend the taffy place and Hannah's icecream. Overall this place was pretty good.

No matter what season you go to S.D.C. it's always great. The staff is friendly & helpful. Grounds are kept clean & attractive. Plenty of bathrooms spread over the park. Food is good with reasonable prices. Shows are always enjoyable! My husband is a Vietnam veteran so when staff says 'thank you for your service' it means a lot!

A lot of fun! Great for families, but not many rides that aren't roller coasters. Definitely needs more signage. We had a great day with short to no wait times, and it did seem crowded, not sure how it would be on an actually busy day.

I ve been to silver dollar city probably 15-20 times. We just went yesterday and it was disappointing because we paid FULL price for our tickets, for maybe 50% of things to be open. Nowhere online does it list what is closed. Be honest about it so people can know what they re spending their money on. The marvel cave, American plunge, swinging bridge, old schoolhouse, petting zoo, kids play area, and grandfathers mansion were all closed, as were other shows and attractions. Mystic river - the new 2020 ride was also shut down throughout the day. It s probably not a good sign when the newest ride has to keep having maintenance done and is out of operation.

I just went to seaworld a few weeks ago and they were very upfront online about what was closed, and were charging half price for tickets.

I know covid has changed things but that is something SDC could have listed on their website or been forthcoming about; OR had a discount on their tickets. SDC definitely has lost its charm.

We were on tram 6 today and when we boarded we were told each parent to set on both sides of our two toddlers age 2 and 3. During the tram ride my wife was holding the kids jackets and one blew off. We told tram driver to stop which he did. I was going to exit tram and get jackets but thought I wasent supposed to get off so I didn t. The worker and back just stood there wouldn t get jacket so I got off and went to get jacket. While at back of tram I told the guy I had to get jacket he shook his head and said tram couldn t wait and told the tram driver to go and left me there. I m not upset at me being left but I am very upset my wife was left with both kids in a unsafe ride for them to the front gate. When I arrived 20 mins later I asked to talk to someone that was in charge. I waited 20 mins and no one ever showed up and the worker I was talking to told me that that tram should have not have let me get off the worker should have got the jacket and they should have never left my kids with one parent. Very disappointed to say the least!

Even though it was incredibly hot and it SEEMED like a lot of people were there, the lines weren't that bad. All the employees were friendly, despite the period clothing/costumes they wear. My only complaint were inconsiderate guests, which is not anything the business can help (but seriously, if you are a guest, be considerate to others!) Everything we ate was great, everything we did was fun! Also, they offer a great deal on tickets to active duty military if you buy on post.
