We've been coming here for years and it's always a really great experience!
There's alot to do, but way too many people for our taste. There was barely room to walk in between people to find a spot to sit down.
One of the best summer beach stops. A super neat splash pad right next to the beach.
It's an awesome beach. The sand is perfect, their are some volleyball nets, restrooms, you can walk to the pier and a little place to get food. The downside is their often is so many people you can't enjoy any of it. A 5 star beach with a 3 star rating due only to over crowding.
It's like a Florida vacation just a short trip from home!
Fun, family friendly beach with swimming areas, nearby attractions, food and clean restrooms.
Excellent views. Nice water park. Try Silver Beach Pizza for the best za in SW Michigan.
The water fountain park is really awesome. Clean. Parking pricey if you are out of country resident. Need Moe food choices for sure. Pizza place had a captive audience and charges for it
Always so crowded with rude people, fights every weekend, not a safe place to take your kids during the summer weekends.
Beautiful beach with picnic areas and plenty of things to do
Beautiful beach with food and fun stops nearby. A bonus is the Amtrak stop just a few steps away.
Good getaway to simply enjoy some beach time. Volleyball is set up in the sand, play area for the little ones, and plenty of beach and water
Great, clean, ideal for all I love that they do not allow the use of alcohol and that people are very respectful
Great place to spend with family. Had high quality courts for sand volleyball and one group of competitive players actively playing. You may have to pay for parking.
Cute beach area next to downtown St. Joseph. There are volleyball courts, a carosel, bathhouse, place for refreshments, and a large playground in the sand. Pretty clean for a beach. My only complaint is having to pay to park. We did not know that our park passport would not cover it since the cost is not on any advertising brochures. They need ti be up front about costs.
Went there with daughters and friends it is a clean beach and lifeguards. Had a great time.
Good place to go see the sunset, play with your kids, hangout and have fun!
Great beach. But Jean Klock beach just north is better. Check out the lighthouse tour.
The quintessential Beach Park. Not really time for fun in the water but the waves were exciting to see.
Nice beachfront for families. Play structures for kids. Perfect sand volleyball courts. Nice bathrooms and changing stalls.
This beach is beautiful, love everything about it, the sand, the water, security, the area, the shops, the bathrooms (but only in the early hours or non-busy days) but overall it s a beautiful place to spend the whole day or weekend or just an afternoon watching the sunset. I love it and I keep going back because it s one of my favorite places to visit.
What a great beach. It's generally crowded so pay to park and take the first spot you can find. The sand is nice and the views are beautiful. There's a carousel museum and a splashpad you won't want to miss. And make sure you walk out to the lighthouse for some amazing pictures.
Great recreational place! Fantastic beach and sceneries!
Great views of lake michigan, beautiful sand, silver beach pizza, carousel, splash pad the list goes on. Great place for families, a must visit.
Not from the area we stopped by there on the way home looks like a very nice park!
Nice beach, great view of Lake Michigan and lighthouse
concession stand, tons of volley ball courts, kids playground, life guard stands, clean sand,... nice view of lighthouse and ships leaving port.
Beautiful beach with plenty of room for everyone to social distance during these hard times
Went to Antiques on the Bluff. Great views of the water.
Beautiful. Make sure to watch the sunset over Lake Michigan!!
I really liked this beach, I used to go to South Haven but I found it more rewarding coming to this beach since it's cleaner and there's no mosquitoes, many volleyball courts.
Nice beach area with sprinklers and carousel. Good pizza with lake view.
Beautiful beach with food consessions, several restrooms available, cement walking paths from parking lot to beaches with plenty of benches to sit and observe. A huge splash pad, indoor carousel.
Beautiful beach. It gets really busy on the holiday weekends, but is nice during the week.
Sand was dirty an bathrooms was not kept up with at all
Beautiful...even on a chilly rainy day! Feels like you are at the ocean.
Beautiful town and beach to enjoy by yourself or with family and friends
Silver Beach Pizza, great place for pizza but make a reservation for Upstairs (but only for adults). Otherwise very long wait for downstairs on weekends.
Beautiful, peaceful, and tranquil. Loved watching people play volleyball and watching the sunset on the lake.
They have the best beach ever first time there want n the water but beautiful place.
Really nice spot. Parking sucks but the shops on the top of the hill make up for it.
Fantastic beach. Lots of room and excellent amenities.
Nice place gets crowded at times but good family place.
Nice beach..but way overcrowded by Illinois and indiana tourists..they need to find their own beaches...a real irritation for the locals..unless you are selling to out of state people..of course..
Beautiful sandy beach, play equipment, volleyball courts, huge sprinkler!
Sandy beach, beach volleyball, close to bars and restaurants
I love running here in the morning! Kind people out and about and they take pretty decent care of the place.
This is our favorite Michigan beach!!! Perfect for families!!
Great place to take the kids out for some fun in the lake
My partner and I decided to indulge in a little day trip to Silver Beach and it did not disappoint. Even with all the covid-19 insanity going on right now, their facilities were cleaned and everyone seemed to be engaging in within appropriate social distancing guidelines. Parking was easy to navigate and accessible and we were able to utilize Third Coast Paddling s on-site kayak rental and the nearby Silver Beach Pizza for a follow up meal and drinks!
Nice public beach with pay parking. Rather crowded on the weekend
