We've always loved the food & service in Silantro. Loved the beef nachos & chicken caliente in Glorietta branch but tonight we tried their pork ribs & paella. The paella was good enough for 3. The taste was good w/all the toppings & the fajita. But I was disappointed w/the pork ribs. The meat was not so tender & it was a bit raw. The taste was just right. I informed the waiter that I'm not happy w/the ribs. He immediately reported it to the their management & to my surprise they did not charged it to me. He said the kitchen was already informed regarding the ribs & to compensate my experience they are not charging it to me & promised to make it better. Kudos to kuya waiter & hopefully the ribs will be better on our next visit.

Food tastes great

Food tastes great
Price is ok
Long lines do not have area to wait.
Staff needs to be more attentive, try smiling dn it'll make a difference.
Do not use the restroom as well. Since in food business you would plan me at times like that. The restroom is integral part especially food biz kau. So please be careful about this ..

Food is great for its price. I a must try restaurant! The burito has a huge serving and the taste is awesome. I love the triple dip that they are providing though the guacamole can be a bit 'watery'. I would suggest visiting at off peak hours since the waiting line can be a bit long. Also the service can improve a little since the food takes sometime, worth the wait though and they provide a warning and estimate of the wait, and sometimes the service crew forgets the requests from the customers. A minor bump that will not hinder you from enjoying your meal. Happy eating!

Craving for some Mexican or Latin American Food in...

Craving for some Mexican or Latin American Food in the Metro? Drive and find your way to Silantro in Kapitolyo Mandaluyong City. Do try their Lucha Tacos and have the liberty to choose your meat from beef, pork, fish, lamb and etc. Enjoy unlimited dips of Guacamole and yogurt. Do also try other food in the menu example the grilled porkchop valued at 200 pesos or 4USD. Meals are fairly priced and you will surely enjoy the experience.
The Restaurant offers limited parking so better try it during non peak hours and also to avoid the line during lunch and dinner hours. Trust me it gets busy during those hours due to volume of people. One of my favorite places to eat and chill out with friends and a comfort food.

After approximately 1 hour of waiting this has to be worth it right? Worth it indeed it is! Silantro should be your crash course into casual Mexican food dining - the servings are humongous and the flavors aren't so powerful as to drive you away to avoid a second visit at any cost. Poncholon burger and nachos are the perfect combination and you wouldn't mind ordering that every time you visit. Would be a perfect place to drink and eat the night away if not for the droves of guests/tourists/zombies/instagram artists waiting in front of the store to get a seat at this food oasis. Imagine you're chugging your third bottle of beer and you either see angry eyes or sad puppy eyes waiting for you to tell the waiter to give you the bill. If you're insensitive, well, good for you but otherwise, best to just eat and go.

Food is great however their aircon was not working the last time we were here. We had difficulty dining because it was hot and we had babies with us. The also don't have high chairs for babies and kids and extra chairs for adults

A muat when we are in the Kapitolyo area. Thia is the first place we check for seat availability (and it can be a bit of a challenge). Parking is another challenge. You can opt to park in Pioneer Center and take the tricycle to Silantro.

The food is simply amazing. I haven't ordered anything that I didn't like. Nachos for starters. Has tons of melted cheese and real beef. The burrito is tasty and good for sharing (of you have down one if you're really hungry). But my favorite is the Grilled Prok Chops. 2 pcs of juicy, perfectly grilled, flavorful chops! And that is not the best part. Prices are very reasonable for the amount the serving size. How often do you come across something like that.

When you eat Paella Fajita at Silantro Alabang, they only give you one piece of lime. And when you ask for 1 more piece, they tell you, they are charging P35.00 for the extra lime. Is this a usual practice?
