The show was great. The woman that played Undine...was spectacular. The rest of the cast was also very good. Now the theatre has a lobby where there is a bookstore, gift shop, little bar with snack basically a cafe. It is so very cute, and cool. You can chill out there before and after the show. The actors even come out and chill. It's a very hip place.

I was particularly impressed by the show that I went to see called sweetie. The back up band was flawless as well as all of the actors. As you walk up the stairs there is a baby grand piano which was being played along with the trumpeter for the ticket holders before the show.

A great place for high quality theater from well established material to newer works. The complex consists of three great theaters of different character connected by a communal meeting, dining and gift shop area. The environment is an experience.

We went to see 'Curse of the Starving Class', a play written by Sam Shephard(1943-2017 RIP) and we were blown away. The theater itself is very modern and classy, and has a adequate snack bar/beer or cocktails area. The staff were super-friendly and cordial. As for the play itself, it was a deep look into how addiction ruins families and friendships. Kudos to David Warshofsky, who played Weston.. Great Acting! Thumbs up to this whole experience.

Such a great theatre space, and for one main reason: there is SPACE to move around in! Entrance is huge. "Lobby" is huge. Hallways and walkways and huge. Bathrooms are.. well, you get the point. The place was designed to accommodate people and therefore be able to handle multiple performances at once and not have the patrons squashed together like sardines.

But, the performances, performers, and scripts have to be good too. I just saw the now closed "Octet"..very nice piece. Cant wait to go back for something else now!

I gotta guess this was for Our Lady of 121st Street, a Harlem soap opera, which was hilarious, while gut punching. Signature offers a huge set of performance spaces that they fill with some very challenging material. Uniquely civilized commonspace as well.

Great Off-Broadway theater center located near Theater Row on West 42nd St. Loved its bold and modern interior design, large lobby with a cafe, a gift shop, and plenty of sitting spaces. Don t worry if you arrived early for your show - you won t need to wait outside on the street. There are three small theaters within.

Amazing location. We saw Be More Chill in the Diamond Theater and while small and intimate the viewing angle are all amazing and the sound system is the best I've heard on Broadway so far.

The theater was clean, sleek and very modern. Unfortunately, the show mediocre at best. It was "Because I Could Not Stop: An Encounter with Emily Dickerson." Stop, they should have before they wrote it, staged it, and made the cheap costumes for it. It has the potential for being a great show; just not on the night I saw it.

A group of friends all attended the new musical "Piece Of My Heart" last Saturday at the Signature Theatre. Without a doubt, it is one of the best shows I've ever seen. Obviously, we all recognized the music (Hang On Sloopy, I Want Candy, Cry Baby, Piece Of My Heart, Here Comes The Night, etc.), but this play tells the story of the man who created all of these hits. Bert Berns was a charismatic and creative force of nature, who achieved the highest level of success in the music business in a short, seven year span. Bert passed away at 38 from a heart issue, so he was on a mission to achieve all he could possibly achieve knowing that his time was limited.

The story is told through the eyes of his daughter, Jessie, who never knew her father because he passed way when she was a baby. Jessie learns the true story about her father, both the good and the bad, from his best friend Wassel, who fills her in on the sordid details of his life that her mother, Ilene, glossed over during Jessie's childhood.

Bert comes alive through Wassel's words and the audience gets to share Bert's loves, laughs, tears, and triumphs with Jessie as she learns who her father really was.

Along with Jessie, I laughed, cried, and cheered throughout this play. I highly encourage everyone to go see this "Piece Of My Heart"...I promise you will love it!

I saw 'Be More Chill' in their 299 seat theater. I was in the back row and I can honestly say there is not a bad seat in the house. I've been to many theatres and I think this place has the best sound system of any I've ever been in!

Okay, realtalk: this was the perfect venue for Be More Chill. It felt like the actors could jump into the audience and interact with everyone. It felt so connected and...well...real! It didn't feel like we were watching a show, it felt like we were all PART of a show!

There are a couple of modern intimate theaters housed inside of a large building with a spacious second floor lobby. The bar has some decent food and drink options, and there is a lot of space to chill. Every time I've been there, there have been a surprisingly large number of people hanging out before and after shows.

This theater puts on really interesting work in a really interesting space. Becoming a subscriber is a good way to force you to see shows you might not have seen anyway, and at an extremely affordable price. Plus, being a subscriber gets you a discount at the cafe and bookstore.

Saw the play, "The Hot Wing King." (Great opening, slow middle, powerful 2nd half.) Nice, cozy theater. Seems like there are three theaters on the premises. Friendly staff. The cafe could expand their menu a bit to include more vegan and nut-free options. Lovely restrooms. Theater Row. Closer to 10th Avenue.

Best Off-Broadway shows I've seen consistently. The venue is welcoming and beautiful. The curation of the shows, as well as their productions, are unbelievable considering the affordable price tag.

Very well run theater clean with comfortable seating and a nice public lounge. Ticket pricing is reasonable compared a Broadway show. Location at 42nd & 10ave makes getting free street parking with short walk a reasonable expectation.

Very interesting building with multiple theatres. ...

Very interesting building with multiple theatres. The only neg was the wood in the decor looked cheap. Anyway, they have a little bar with drinks and chips and some candy. (The iced coffee was really good.) And they have a really cool gift shop with lots of Kikkerland and other cool products and stuff from their various shows, like t-shirts, mugs with RBG (Ruth Bader Ginsberg), a seven-year pen that says F#@k it. (but actually spelled out), and lots more. I got a dish towel that says "Hangry", a Kikkerland pocket magnifier, a cool pencil that apparently you don't have to apply as much pressure when writing, and something else I can't remember right now.

We saw Cambodian Rock Band, which was in previews, last night. Really cool. The concept, script, actors, music, set &, especially, the lighting designs... all were on-point. Little hickup with the set so intermission was a tiny bit longer than originally planned, but otherwise it was fantastic. (The longer intermission gave us a chance to socialize a bit longer, so no complaints. )
Highly recommended to see this show while you can.

Great theater. A excellent place for American play writers to show their stuff. New theaters designed by Frank Gehry. Tickets are underwritten so ticket prices are excellent. Some of the best plays I have ever seen.
