Quality products. Friendly staff. But... need more than one person on the checkout counter for a store of that size.

Always thought this was overpriced outdoor gear. Pleasantly surprised it is not

Great deals on outdoor clothing and items. Need to be flexible and not have a particular brand/item in mind when shopping, sizes and styles are limited by stock on hand or that can be ordered online, it is like a Ross for outdoor goods. Their coupons are great if you sign up for their mailing list. We always walk out with great deals.

Great deals on select hiking shoes and sandals with special discounts for repeat customers.

I like the store. But No stroller or handicapped access to the store. And door is so heavy.

Not the internet sierra trading post, but an ok place for low end camping equipment and clothes. Kinda like cabelas meets Kmart.

I came in for waterproof boots and found exactly what I was looking for. I also found some warm socks and a nice winter cap! I had to get customer service for a price check on a pair of boots that I did not end up buying, but the staff was very helpful and remained calm and reasonable while helping me as the line grew longer behind me. A very pleasant experience! Staff is helpful!

Good as always great close for reasonable prices in a variety of sizes

First time in the store, usually order online. Prices were good. The lady who checked me out at the counter was funny and friendly. Not one employee asked if I needed help the entire time I was in there, not with trying on shoes or in the dressing room.

Great store! I feel so lucky to have this store here in Reno. You can also order online from their website and pickup. I love shopping the clearance and checking out the seasonal items that come through.

The WORST Return Policies!!!! I purchased some slippers through Sierra Trading Post's website that I really liked, but were just a bit on the small side - so I initiated a return online. First of all - I was charged an additional $3.00 to return the shoes and get a bigger size THEN after I'd sent the slippers back, I was charged for the slippers a 2nd time. I called the customer service department and they let me know that I was charged, but the charge will fall off once processed. This is extremely unacceptable to me. In an day and age where Amazon rules, I don't see why a company would charge me again after being able to see that I used their shipping label to return the slippers. Furthermore, I fail to see why I was charged an additional (small) fee to exchange the product I purchased. I will not be shopping with them again.

Love the staff and the deals! Don't be afraid to sign up for the emails because you will be rewarded handsomely for it with excellent coupons on already low prices. I honestly don't but anything without a coupon and I have averaged 60% off retail prices on all of my purchases. High quality products as well.

Selection at this store has dropped off for my needs in the last few years. There are still good finds and some deals on equipment and clothes, and unfortunately their coupon program changed which drastically altered how much you can save.

The best store for outdoor gear and clothing. Very good quality at excellent prices. They also have housewares. I like it even better than REI Garage. If you are not located in Reno of Cody Wyoming, check out Sierra Trading Post website. They run 99 cent shipping promotions from time to time if you are signed up for email.

A great place to find the right gear at a low price for any adventures you want to seek out.

You have to be willing to do a lot of looking around to find what you're trying to find. Great prices when you do come across a find.

Shoe section isn't what it used to be. I used to love shopping for my shoes for all seasons but now it's a tragic mess, looks more like a Ross's sales rack than the well organized shoe department it used to be.

It's like REI, but run by Ross. Hit or miss on the camping gear, as they seem to carry more clothes than gear now. At least the prices are good.

Amazing deals on outdoor gear from bike racks to climbing gear to tents and kayaks. Only 4 stars because the selection is totally random, like going to a garage sale. Best to check their shelves once a month for new who-knows-what kind of gear deals.

Used to be an excellent source for outdoor gear but now it is not much more than a glorified clothing store.

Decent place with a variety of outdoor gear. There are usually some great finds.

Save the shipping costs and visit one of their stores. Or have you order delivered to a store for pickup. STP sells overstock and clearance items at greatly reduced prices. As such, their inventory changes frequently. So if you see something you like, better get it soon or you might miss out.

Not as diverse of selection since new ownership took over, but can still find gems in the clearance.

The sales were not as great as expected. Not a good selection of shoes. Very friendly service, clean organized store.

Awesome shop with outdoors/sports clothing and some pretty good deals. Unfortunately they didn't have anything I wanted but my wife bought a few things.

You don't get hassled by shop assistants at every step and the cashier was pleasant. Once they saw that a queue was starting to form, another person came to the cash registers to serve the waiting customers.

Apparently it was recently bought by TJMaxx, so hopefully that won't affect the store itself and it will mean they just get to open more branches.
