I called to pay off my car today. I was told the payoff is $5,532.00 but there are only 14 payments left on the car. 14 payments at $330 a month is $4,620. So where exactly is the rest of that money coming from? I asked for a supervisor to get on the phone (Had to wait 20 minutes) and what I got was an extremely rude woman who I could not understand. They claim they are in Texas NO their call center is in the Caribbean. I have asked several times to speak with someone I could understand and I keep getting told to hang up and call back with the same Caribbean people answering the phone. They are shady as all get out. RUN away from this company.

they sold most of their accounts to another company and didnt bother to tell anyone, so when I attempted to make my payment as I do every month, (on line) I got the pop up that said it couldnt find my account. took 2 month to finally be able to connect with the company, because the phone # I had was taking me to the new company, whom told me they have no record of my account. Now my account is in collections and only a balance of $600 out of $22,000... What kind of a company operates like that? I would advise NO ONE to finance through Sierra Auto Finance. My credit suffers their lack of professionalism and responsibility.

This is the worst finance company to deal with. They do not care or try to help you out one bit. I refinanced my loan through my bank to get out from under them and the refused to take them. They "lost them". My bank had to send a new check and they finally delivered. My contract was for me not to have to pay for 1 month, but with Sierra being as horrible as they are, I had to pay that month so it did not affect my credit. Sierra cannot do math and WILL NOT refund it to me. I have a car payment floating in the air and they will do nothing about it. Worst company EVER!

Well as for me I've been with Sierra Finance for 2 years and two months. and I've been very impressed with they service. even when a car dealership was trying to get extra money from me due to my credit being not so good. they put that car dealership in check personally. Mr. ballet don't owe you all anything so stop trying to get extra money from him. It was very impressive for them to be sticking they neck out for me like that. By the grace of God two years and two months I never been late matter fact I'm 2 months a hay with my payments.the interest is high.but in all do respect is a good company.allso my credit score have went over 700...

I'm so mad right now.. I will not care about my credit.. I will not pay 30000 for a used car... worst place ever......

What a joke! So glad their business went under because the women who worked for them were so freaking ghetto and rude, it was like ordering crack from a drug dealer every time I spoke with them. I should have known better when they kept referring to my vehicle loan as a car note. Also, started receiving rude messages and harassing phone calls after I busted the manager pocketing money that I was making toward my payments. Also, made super homophobic comments pretty regularly. Oh well, guess those women have gone back to collecting child support from their baby daddies.

1st Very unprofessional customer service, I called one evening and there was so much background noise , I could barely hear the Agent. All I could hear was laughing! Then The agent told me they were having end of month contest to explain the noise.
2nd I requested a deferment and the Agent was pretty much telling me it will most likely be denied before evening submitting the request, the following day it was denied (keep in mind, I ve been making my payments on time for 3 years) This is the 1st time I ve requested an deferment, I feel that they didn t take the time to actually review my request, nor take my situation seriously.
Called again today To make payment arrangements and the Agent who was very difficult to understand said I still will be getting collection calls even though my account is noted.
Please if you re going to be in Customer Service, please learn to communicate and speak clearly.

Since I first heard of this company when seeking financing for the vehicle I got through a local dealership in my area, I have come to regret ever hearing of their name. They literally are the worse possible company to deal with when it comes to automotive financing. For each card transaction you make, both on their website, via mail or on the phone, they charge you an extra $6.95 for the process. As far as their APR rate is concerned, it is very sky high, currently at around 23%. Their initial terms mandate that you be put into a high mileage older car that is at high risk of developing mechanical and electrical problems as well. They really don't document much, either, unless it has to do with a payment you're making to them. Multiple times I have sent them copies of my insurance, and they haven't even bothered documenting that for who knows what reason. I'm pretty sure that they are just barely above the line of what defines legal, that's it. Go through a private owner if this company is seriously your only option for financing a vehicle. Save up, even if it means scraping together bits and pieces, and go with a private owner if you're looking to get a vehicle. Don't go with these people. They'll burn you in no time if you're not careful.

Sierra Auto Finance apparently contracts their customer service phone calls to the "Caribbean" and whatever agency they are using has horrible employees as well as supervisors matching plenty of previous comments. I've worked in a call center for 2 years for Bank of America and I well aware of the shenanigans that go on. I simply called to speak with a supervisor about the concerning issue of untimely processing of mailed in payments. Today's experience leads me to believe that the payment processing could also be contracted out as well. If there's a 8.00 processing fee for online payments, then I guess it's too much of an expense for Sierra Auto Finance to locally process payments when they are already charging customers high interests rates. I was hung up on by one "supervisor" in the "Caribbean", called back to only get another customer service agent blatantly lie to being located in Dallas, TX and I then asked to speak to a supervisor again. The customer service agent continued to not honor my request stating that she needed my information. I told her that I would gladly give my information to a supervisor once they're on the line. The "supervisor" quickly stated her name in a blur, and I asked if she could repeat her name. She repeated her name and I asked her what location she was in. The "supervisor" then stated that she didn't see the importance of answering my question of her location. I explained to the supervisor of my call center experience and a true member of leadership would know that when a customer asks for a location they have to truthfully answer the question but with a general, not exact location. The supervisor then stated she was in the "Caribbean" and that I "should've been able to pick that up from her accent." I'm no longer calling Sierra Auto Finance for no assistance! You try to call the cooperate number listed on the website and a voice recording states that they are closed, however the time I made the call was within the parameters of the hours of operation. Sierra Auto Finance, I will now call the Better Business Bureau in hopes that they can help you straighten out the apparent kinks you currently have in your business operations. It's absolutely horrendous that myself, a disabled United States veteran that has not missed a payment nor made a late payment for three years now have to tolerate such lousy customer service from an outsourced agency doing business for a domestic company.

Can someone tell me if it is true that First Investors Servicing Corporation is taking over Sierra Auto Finance. I've noticed that at least 1 of Sierra Auto Finance's numbers is answered by an automated system claiming to belong to First Investors Servicing Corporation. Just trying to make sure there's no scam being run.
