We took our 3 kids 5 years & 2 year old twins. They absolutely loved it! We spent about 3 & 1/2 hours there. They had a lot of things to do. A little haunted house, large jumping bubble, zip lines, Humongous slide, lots of little parks to play in, a spiderweb climbing thing, lot of animals to visit and feed. Apple cider donuts and coffee for mama lol everyone was happy.

We took our almost 2 year old son today and we had a blast! All of the workers were super friendly, we got an awesome pumpkin and my son couldn't have enjoyed the day more! We will definitely return next year!

Absolutely not worth coming here. $15 entry and that doesn't cover anything other than some things for the little kids to climb on. Don't waste your money. I saw the reviews before coming and decided to test our luck but they were spot on. It's pretty evident about three minutes after you walk in that you've made the wrong decision.

I seriously don't understand why there are so many bad reviews. We have been taking our kids here for years. We have been to many pumpkin farms over many years and this is the only one that has it all. Amazing for the kids, a corn field maze that is actually good, and the food is amazing. Stuff is closed during the week which we found out one time but it's because they are not busy during the week which is understandable.

When I came to this farm I thought it would be a great time but I saw how the older woman were treating there employees horrible and were yelling at them in front of my kids and I . I had a bee in drink while they were handing it to me and i am allergic. I saw these two kids kissing that were supposed to be working and I felt very uncomfortable. I regret coming to this farm .

Don't be a whiny wuss ass and go enjoy yourself

Great place to hang out with young children, we actually went as a whole family with college students as well and everyone enjoyed the time. My 10 yr loved the petting zoo and the long elevated slide! Felt a bit pricey foe the entry ticket vs the value that we cant give a full 5 stars. For this money we can go to many other places with a lot of rides.

We love the place and so do our children. It is close very convenient and offers quite a bit for the price. However, more of the food and drink stands as well as the pony rides should be open during the week not just on the weekend. My husband is off on Thursdays and Fridays so that's when we can go but yet our daughters can't enjoy a funnel cake or pony ride because it isn't offered then. He works 10am to 10pm every other day of the week besides his off days. Hopefully this can change.

I ve been to all the local competitors and we love this place most! Hands down the best experience for any family looking for some genuine fall fun.

You pay one price up front and don t have to worry with digging money out as you walk around. My kids really enjoyed the different themed play areas they had.

Space is abundant and you never feel crowded. Oodles of fun!

I took my son here on Halloween for Pumpkin Fest since he is too young to trick or treat. My son had a great time! He bonded with some goats, devoured a bucket of kettle corn, and went down a huge "mountain" slide. The slide was the highlight for him, of course. We plan to come back next Fall so that he can enjoy more of the attractions.

I went here with my daughter for a preschool field trip. What a waste of money and time!!! The farm would not let us do anything we wanted. We were forced to only see the attractions they wanted and only allowed to do it in their time frame. We barely had time to enjoy the limited attractions that we were so lucky to have done. We were also told that we would get a medium sized pumpkin for our child (since that is what they had done for us in the past), as well as ourselves. This did not happen. Only a selected few got 2 pumpkins and they were the size of an apple. Again, total waste of time and money! I do not recommend coming here, with a school or on your personal time.

As a member of the law enforcement community, I want to extend my thanks on behalf of myself and my family for your complimentary admission to your farm on October 1st for First Responder Day. We thoroughly enjoyed all that your facility had to offer and we had a wonderful experience. Every staff member that we had contact with was courteous and friendly and my children were completely worn out at the end of the day.

It is a great feeling to see that a community oriented business thought of, and cares enough about, first responders to offer a day of free admission. Please share my gratitude to all employees and especially to the management at Cottonwood Farms.

JUST GO TO BENGSTONS!!!!! This place is a complete waste of money.. Never go during the week because they have 2 people working there and nothing is open. There's garbage everywhere in corn maze. Don't even waste you time or money. It cost me 25 bucks for me and my girlfriend to go and we weren't even there 20 minutes and went and demanded my money back and they said there was nothing they could do and blew me off. Never going back here again.. Bengstons is a million times better...

Recently visited Siegels Cottonwood Farm and had an absolute wonderful time! So much to do, exceptionally clean, excellent staff, I can go on and on. Would definitely recommend this place over other local places we have patronized in the past for a day of clean family fun. And did I mention the donuts, pies, etc. are a must purchase on the way out! Delicious!

Our car keys had gotten stuck on the slide due to poor construction of the slide. They had gotten stuck in between the the poles due having an opening. Also, since employees refuse to check the area before the next person to go down, it snapped the keys off which made the keys fall into the poles. When asking an employee they reluctantly wanted to get help, and when speaking to the supervisor Milly or Miley, she REFUSED to help due to spending time with family. If you are working, especially being a supervisor, you would think they would do the best they could to help paying customers. Instead of trying to help, they refused and responded with attitude. When I asked if there is an owner or another supervisor she explained that there was none. I had called the facilities number asking if there was another supervisor or owner, to be told there was more. They wouldn t direct us to the other supervisors at all. They wouldn t give us a refund at all. We spent $160 all together to not get any good service. WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD! They had also called security to keep an eye on us due to constantly asking for a manger s to help. It is ridiculous to be seen as a threat because people don t want to do their job. I advised people to not come here, because once you give them your money, they don t care after that.

What a fantastic experience! My second visit so far this year with many more to come before this season is over. I loved this place and how it brings families together for safe, clean, learning and fun. It was a wonderful experience I had with my granddaughter. We had a blast! I can now proudly say I went ziplining as a grandma! The food was good and reasonably priced. I found a great deal online 2 entries for $15, (if searched for properly.)for the tickets. I spent less than $70 for 4 entries, food, drinks, gift shop and 4 small pumpkins, not to mention the lifetime memories and fantastic fun we all had. Plus the option to get a bounceback ticket for a chance to return for only $5. What an outstanding place! Also there are days when grandparents, military families, first responder and many others are FREE! It truly is a great family experience offered by a family with big hearts. Can't wait to go again!!

Went for a school trip. Good place overall and great price. Staff was friendly, we were there during week so there were absolutely no lines, which was great. Lots of food options and the donuts were great. Zip line, ginormous slide and bouncing pillows were our favorite spots.

One aspect of our experience was a bit, odd , to say the least. We were with a public school, with a diverse group of children. During the beginning presentation and education of how a farm works, the farmer asked where we get our food? The kids all gave great logical and science based answers, I.e. fishing, farming, seeds. Which is where it took a weird turn. The farmer suggested a great answer would be god and kind of intertwined this idea into the the rest of his presentation. I am happy he has a religious relationship he cherishes, but we have a group of public school kids. It is kosher to keep the religious factor out of this educational part of the experience.

This magical place is truly affordable family fun.... If $44 bucks is affordable for your family... my bad that is for two tickets. But dont you worry, they have free stuff you can do there... right you paid for that in the admission... ok well the Funnel cakes are awesome (probably because theyre the only thing actually made to order). I mean imagine paying 16 bucks for fries and cheese curds to find out they just sit under a warmer. so after I go back to get new food they had the audacity to try and pull from the same pile. so they made fresh (fresh frozen). well they made them so fresh they were still partially frozen. I mean come on... Im glad my two yr old had fun but i would advise you from coming here to the farm that thinks theyre like six flags.

Absolutely dreadful and a complete waste of money!...

Absolutely dreadful and a complete waste of money! I'm pissed!
In short- DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY AND DO NOT GO HERE FOR ANYTHING. THEY STEAL YOUR MONEY, ARE RUDE, HAVE POOR SELECTION (ALL ARE DAMAGED, AND THERE'S LITTLE TO CHOOSE FROM), AND EVERYTHING IS CLOSED ON WEEK DAYS.

In depth- I wasted $15 on two "weekday tickets" that got us literally nothing. The girl at the ticket booth said everything was closed on weekdays except the snoopy maze, and some animals were out. We also couldn't get a refund or come back, even though we drove 40 minutes to get here.
Apon entering around 5:15pm, it was dead. No one was around. All food stands, shops, and attractions were "closed. open weekends only.' We couldn't make it over to the snoopy corm maze either, because the last hay ride to go get pumpkins was at 5:30pm.
After following ticket girl's instructions and getting lost, we found a map and made it to the hay ride. We waited and waited. Around 5:40pm, the tractor pulled up. On the short, short drive out to the field, however, I was pretty nervous. I can't believe we didn't get stuck in the mud. It was nothing but mud and water nearly up to the floorboards. Everyone got splashed more than once. I can't believe they'd allow their paying customers to be subject to this. Then we get 1/4 away around the circle-shaped pumpkin patch and the driver (who was quite rude) asked "Anyone gettin' off?" ...Well, yeah. Obviously. We need pumpkins. We stepped off and he said "We close at 6pm, so hurry up." I asked "So, you're only giving us 5 minus out of this entire field to choose?" "That's what I just said, yeah." Alright, a**hole, thanks for nothing. The pumpkin choice was also completely embarrassing. Plenty smashed, and 100% were bruised or scratched in some way. We were really mad. There was a small section that seemed acceptable, but we couldn't access it because it was cut off by the tractor's muddy tire prints. We picked out the least sh***y pumpkins we could find, after giving up. From the start, the driver was standing by the gate with his arms crossed, waiting for us. We got back on and asked if we asked if we could go to the better patch. He said no. Even though we ended up passing it anyway... What made us even more mad was the fact that it was absolutely beautiful out. Sun shining, cool breeze, and 75 degrees. Forbid they possibly stay 10 minutes past 6pm, right?
Then we get back and picked a few smaller ones in a mini field as soon as you step off from the horror hay-ride (even though those were just as damaged). We then attempted to find check-out. Gave up, then went through the exit where it turns out they ring people up.
The pumpkins were over-priced. The staff didn't even know what the charge was at first. We ended up getting two semi-large pumpkins and 4 small ones for over $35. A complete waste of money. Then include the $15 "unlimited attraction admission tickets" we HAD to buy... I'm incredibly livid. I regret even buying the pumpkins. We should have gone to Jewel, Target, or really anywhere except this place (or Wal-mart. Obviously no one in their right mind would shop there, either).

Welcome to a church-run, anti-abortion farm. Where money over rules all and ignorance is galloping through the fields.

Had fun during the pumpkin festival but recently stopped by for Christmas tree to find out their prices are outrageous. $15-$20 a foot is not worth it for any Christmas tree when you can get them for half that anywhere else. We just paid $55 for our 9 ft tree at Tammen Treeberry Farm.

After standing in line for the Zombie Paintball night haunt, the lady said we couldn't use our Groupon at night. Nowhere on the Groupon does it say we can't use it at night. I contacted Groupon and they said I was able to use it at anytime. Pretty pissed I lost $45 and stood in line 2 hours to just leave with a very upset nephew. And numerous other workers saw the Groupon and none of them said we couldn't use it. 2 hours! Uggh
Sure hope no one else had this happen cause 2 hours in a line is a long time to be turned away.

Overall, this place is pretty good. It's very similar to Johansen Farms. The only reason why I gave three stars instead of four or five was because on the day we went it was particularly windy and kicking up quite a bit of dust. I don't expect the entire area to be paved, but anytime a wind gust came it blew a bunch of dust into people's eyes. It would have only taken them about 30 minutes to water down the pathway so that it wouldn't kick up dust whenever the wind blew. Other than that, the rides and food were good for the age range of children.

Very cute farm and affordable, but the owner was very rude to us. I ve never been here before, but didn t want to spend $200 at Goeberts. Saw this place, drove 45 minutes & paid online. My mom came with us since I bought 5 tickets. I went online to see the hours and saw that grandparents are free with a grandchild admission. I asked if I could use the paid admission towards something else here and was told no. That I should come back or give my $12 to someone else. Don t see what the big deal is about putting it towards something else. I didn t want my money back, just not lose it. We re a family of 5 and I m a stay at home parent. I didn t appreciate it. The owner was very unfriendly; not the kid working in front. Also, there s not much to do during the week since stuff is closed. There are many other choices and I don t care for people who are rude to me for no reason. I will spend my money elsewhere in the future.

Typically I don't post for businesses. But I couldn't help but to notice the negative post recently. Makes me wonder if their competitors are doing this. My family and I have visited the farm for over 4 years and look forward to this event yearly. The pig race is a must see, and the animals are very well taken care of. We love the apples and popcorn on the way out and the staff is friendly. This establishment is very busy this time of the year for obvious reasons and the location is very clean and organized. They also staff local police to help control the heavy traffic. My recommendations are as follow: take a good camera, comfy shoes and buy the apples and popcorn on the way out you won't regret it.

Wish I didn't have to give any stars...
Purchased LTHS fundraiser coupons sold at the start of football include free VIP upgrade at Siegels / Statesville. How disappointing that we attempted to use it Sat. night only to be told it's not valid, can only be applied on Thursdays. Yet there is no mention of such terms on the coupon and when questioned we were told that the school was not authorized to print this coupon

Have since reached out to the school, only to confirm what I already knew; Siegel's not only had to authorize the graphics used but also the text!

FYI Owner/managers, they have documentation of all communication regarding your approval and no such mention of "valid Thursday only". Upon speaking with others iin the community, it seems as though this misleading nature is your thing, so greedy!!TERRIBLE marketing and customer service on behalf of Siegals Cottonwood Farm!

We were in line to get into Siegel's for over 45 minutes. We had purchased tickets online and understood we wouldn't have to wait in line. It clearly said on the ticket, "BY BUYING YOUR TICKETS ONLINE YOU DO NOT HAVE TO WAIT IN THE TICKET LINE. Go to window 3 or 4 to redeem your online tickets".

This was not the case...ticket booth #4 wasn't even open. Everyone was directed to wait in the same line. The Security personnel were very apologetic, but the Siegel's representative that I spoke with had every excuse imaginable. Yes, it was Columbus Day, but knowing that kids are off school and you will have a big crowd, there is no excuse for a such a poorly managed situation.

On the positive side, there were plenty activities for the kids to enjoy. Because the farm covers such a large area, it didn't seemed crowded once we were able to enjoy the activities.

This place is amazing, so much to do and enjoy not just for toddlers either. My teenage kids had a blast. They loved the sports zone place they were able to challenge their father in basketball which was entertaining! I really enjoyed the relaxing hayride to the pumpkin patch. It was awesome being able to pick a pumpkin out in a field. The food was amazing so come hungry it was hard for all of us to make up our mind. I had the turkey leg which tasted just like ham and my husband had chicken and waffles. Be sure to grab some kettle corn and apple donuts on your way out. It was nice to munch on, on the way home. Oh and the staff is so friendly, they always had smiles on their faces and very helpful. We can t wait to go back for the pumpkin drop next weekend!

We had our annual Company Picnic last August here and it was nothing but AMAZING! From the first email to the staff to the last form of communication, the staff and owners were nothing but helpful!! They made it so easy to plan our event, they made sure that anything we needed was taken care of and our employees had such a wonderful time! It rained 1 out of the 2 days that our event took place so a lot of people did not show up. Because of this, the owners reimbursed us for those employees who did not come by giving them future passes to their Pumpkin Patch which was so nice of them! I cannot wait to have another event here, August cannot come soon enough!!

Siegel's Cottonwood Farm is a class act! They offered a special needs weekend and we were unable to stay any longer than one hour due to the record breaking heat and the toll it took on our son who had open heart surgery 2 months after birth. Due to the extreme 92+ heat on Saturday, they turned around and offered a SECOND weekend in late October for these same families with special needs kids to take advantage of their great Pumpkin Patch Festival. We loved the one hour we were there and can't wait to go back in October during hopefully cooler weather to stay the full day and give them the support they so deserve because of their generosity. This farm has won a family customer for life thanks to their generosity and understanding of the delicacy of our special needs kids.
