Great family atmosphere. All modern computerized lanes worked perfectly.

It's a dingy entrance. Noting interesting a bowling hall, pizzeria, and arcade. The Plaza is also home to a prefabricated home sales, a gym, comedy club and fast food restaurant.

I wemt here for a school trip last fridau, and it was amazing. The place is clean, and they have multiple sizes of bals for everyone. The TVs for each lane work well and have fun pictures for the number of pins you knock down. Theres even a little Tv next to each lane to show whos im 1st and all that. The pizza is delish, super warm and fresh and chessey. The arcade was fun, which is good for 8th graders. So, if you are coming here for a school or work event, or just some family fun, you will be pleased!

Great place for parties! The staff is great! Our party went so smoothly and the food was delicious!

Bar added phoney drinks to my bar tab that I DID NOT ORDER. Told me there was nothing they could do and someone ordered 2 mixed drinks. Absolutely shady place and had to dispute the charges with my bank as a result.

Fun time! Had my son's birthday party here and everything was included in the package. Our guest had a great time

I went here every Friday it's the best place the pizza there is really good and the food is fantastic I recommend this place it's really fun and I can't really say anything bad about it keep up the good work

Showplace Bowling Center ended a school sponsored event for special needs children an hour early due to a "tournament coming in". I stayed and let my son bowl anyway (& had to pay for what was supposed to be free). This "tournament" had their people just arriving even over an hour after the school event was ended early. Extremely disappointing that this place would cut short a children's event unnecessarily. NOT RIGHT TO DO TO CHILDREN WHO WERE LOOKING FORWARD TO THIS EVENT! Shame on them!

Great for some evening/late night bowling! Colorful lanes with an exhilarating A/V system. Fun arcade, too. Only reason it doesn't get five stars from me is because the prices are pretty high for bowling and my lane had some technical difficulties while I was there with a friend (they didn't refund us the 15 minutes we waited for the lane to be fixed and they charge by the hour here).

Ok place to bowl. Would be allot better if they had kids assistance devices. The little bowlers love the little racks.

Great place to go bowling, just look up when the leagues are so you do go when they are full of people and have no lanes open

Crazy busy on a Friday night and games can get pricey.

It has been many years since I've been to the Show Place and WOW was it a very sad return. Place looks shabby, most games in the arcade don't work. This is a spot I definitely do NOT recommend

I just had my daughters birthday party here this past weekend and overall I was very pleased with everything, I want to mention the attendants who helped me; Nevaeh and Jalena they were really wonderful and took care of everything! I would recommend asking for them if possible.
The only thing I would mention is the 15% service charge they add to the bill at the end. It' not a tax or a gratuity so you still would need to tip the staff although you don't have too...but I feel like I am still not 100% sure what that was and it added $50.00 extra onto the bill...so just be aware.
Otherwise it was a nice party for a reasonable price compared to other places and I would come again :)

Good for kids to do things such as bowling, pool and games. Outdated, a little expensive.

Good that's it can be empty at times. Bad because it loses quality when it's empty.

Horrible ,not like it used to be when it first opened

Always have a wonderful experience when going to Showplace Entertainment Center. The atmosphere is very inviting. The management and staff are professional and friendly. They have a pro shop on site as well with top quality bowling equipment. The restaurant located at the Center has fantastic food. The cleanliness of the establishment is top notch. Can t wait to go back. This has become one of my favorite places.

Newly renovated bowling alley very welcoming and fun.

We got married at Grand Oaks on Saturday June 29th and our hotel for the out of town guests was the Fairfield Inn that is across the parking lot. After pricing out several dinner locations, nothing made logistical sense for a welcome party of about 50 people. So we took a chance and had our wedding welcome dinner on Friday night at Showplace.
It was the best decision EVER. Our guests had so much fun! And it was a great way for people to mingle since everyone was bowling so you didn't get "stuck" in a conversation. Everyone got a chance to meet each other.
The staff was absolutely great! So helpful and really, really nice. And the food was AMAZING! We didn't have high expectations for bowling alley food but this was legitimately really good. All our guests raved about it. And we worked out a an open bar package with the staff beforehand which was all very reasonably priced.
I would 100% do another party here. And any future brides out there looking for a unique idea for welcome parties, definitely give Showplace a shot. We can't thank them enough for making our wedding so special!!

The only thing that is a con about this place, is that it's hard to find the right ball size and weight to bowl with. The selection is very limited. But other than that, great place to bring families, friends, or make parties.

My family and I like this bowling alley. Very modern and up to date machines. Well kept and clean. Great place to bring your family to.

Horrible place to have a child's party. They weren't prepared when we got there early to set up balloons and cake, and the manager was an unprofessional douche. He didn't care one bit to make the customer happy. Only 2 of the young girls working there were helpful and caring. We understand you can't give in to whatever your customer wants, but he gave us the impression that "it is what it is, take it or leave it". I easnt going to let my 5 yr old & his friends down, so he knew I had go take it. At least fake it if you're going to be in the position you're in cause people like that are just bad for business!! He put my son's 5 year old birthday party in a lightly dimmed lounge, that they use as a pathetic run down comedy club. I never approved such a party place for my child, who would?!?! HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE

Staff treats you like garbage and lanes keep breaking AND no wifi

For a Saturday afternoon, was not too crowded. People working there weren't very helpful since they entertained each other. Overall, clean and modern.

Showplace Is an awesome place to bowl.the lanes are kept in great condition, the staff is friendly, the prices are reasonable.

An hour of bowling cost $28 for the lane on a weekend,$5 for shoe rental, and a pie costs about $14.

This place used to be fun to come to. Just was there other day and found alot of lanes not working couldn't play additional games because of computer problems. It just didn't seem like it used to be. Place needs to be renovated. Need better management

It is one of few remaining bowling alie on the island and had a direct access to a pizza shop and very clean lanes and friendly staff it a overall great place to hang with friends for the night

I love coming here with St. John's University for intramural bowling nights!! Such a friendly staff and I don't have any complaints :) I can't wait to go again soon!

The staff was helpful and responded rather rapidly when we had issues while bowling. I took two stars away because they only have one slide for younger kids to use while bowling so we had to wait for a family to finish using it before our kids could use it. Also, their arcade is old and rundown. Most of the machines ate our tokens and then we had to wait for the sole girl who was overseeing the arcade and counting tickets and helping the patrons pick out their prizes to finally come over and try to fix the machines or offer our money back. They should have more staff working on a Saturday night.

The bowling alley's looked clean and the place looks good but my experience there was not so good due to the fact that the touch screen kiosk was not functioning properly for our lane, resulting to wasting alot of our timed hour of fun with the kids having to deal with this issue. I asked the girls to check our lane kiosk and for some reason it took almost 15 minutes to reset the game. After we played one full game then it happened again, So she moved us to the next lane. We played half a game then that machine the second lane kisok started acting up by only placing down 4- 6 bowling pins ona new turn, then it shut down.The hour was over so quick. I asked the lady politely behind the counter about it and she delayed to answer, which I found rude but didn't say anything, she looked annoyed like I was bother her when I told her we were having problems with the lane and if we could have one more game to play, for time loss and she relayed rudely we're closing and turned around to the next person. Mean while there was still one hour till closing time with many other people playing in there lanes. There was plenty of lanes available and time to allow us one more game but her response was rude and un polite to me seeing is was just me and the kids. Other than that I would have given a higher rating.
Perhaps the next time we visit, we will have a better experience to talk about.

Fix the cliches so things like this wouldn't happen to customers.

I love this bowling alley. The staff is always very courteous and willing to help. The lanes themselves always look freshly oiled and clean. The midnight bowling with the fluorescent lights is a really nice touch for the younger crowd. All sports are better if you can include black neon lights

Passed this place a million times and never saw a movie there. Not bad at all. Saw a kids movie and it wasnt that crowded.
