My family thanks the staff at Shorrock for their care and concern for my mother during her stay for rehabilitation. Steven and Simone were extremely accommodating with my mother's dietary needs; Lorette and Ron were so positive and supportive during physical therapy. Nursing sraff was attentive and caring. Thanks to Elsa, Marguerite, Michelle, Dan, and "K" for their patience and expertise from the family if Jane Gallagher.
The staff is caring and efficient. There always seems to be something for the residents to do if they are interested. We just had a family birthday party for mom in the private dining room. We brought the food and all was fine.
I think they should pay more attention to patients so help me I think they will be the cause of my dads death I don't know how this star thing works. But many stars are being extinguished by living there

This place dehydrated my grandfather which led to his death. DONT EVER TRUST THIS PLACE WITH YOUR LOVED ONES!!!! THIS IS THE WORST PLACE FOR SOMEONE TO GO DONT EVER EVER EVER TRUST THEM!!!!!! My poor grandpa had Alzheimer s and there was so many problems there one night he went to the hospital and I was actually sleeping over my grandmas house and we had to go to the hospital. The day after we found out he was starved and dehydrated I spend a whole week at my other grandparents house and then he passed away. THESE PEOPLE ARE MONSTERS YOU SHOULD NEVER RELY ON WITH YOUR FAMILY!!!! KEEP YOUR FAMILY SAFE DO NOT WVER PUT THEM HERE!!!!!!
I was a CNA at Shorrock when I was going through nursing school. The staff there were incredibly dedicated to the residents they cared for. It is that level of dedication that made me want to come back to work for SGCC once again. Just a great place to be!
My dad has received both kindness and professional care from the staff at Shorrock's sub-acute care center. Support from the nurses, therapists, aides, social workers and housekeeping has been very valuable through his stay. They all work together to get the help the patient needs in order to improve. A very doubtful outlook when he arrived has turned into a very hopeful return home in the near future!

As the Administrator at Shorrock Gardens I can truly say that it is a warm, caring atmosphere. The staff, resident and families here truly become an extended family while being here.
A relative of mine is in Shorrock Gardens. It it an awful, poorly rune place, and the staff are often rude. One staff member calls my relative by her last name. One night, she asked for help, first time that night.... and the nurse said, in an annoyed tone 'what do you want now?" My relative is a little reticent, so she gets lost in the shuffle sometimes, ignored. In this world, I've discovered, only the strong survive.
My father is currently here for rehab. I must say I am very pleased with certain staff members, as they are going above and beyond to help my father and my family while in his rehab process. Nurse Michelle, Patty, Marguerite, and Daniel are so helpful, kind and considerate. The director of social sevices Jamie is also so helpful and considerate. She also has been extremely instrumental in handling my father's ongoing care. I truly appreciate all their care and hard work I personally notice on a daily basis while visiting with my father. Thank you again and continue to be the excellence and heart beat of Sharrock Gardens. You guys are truly the best!!!!

I have to say that Shorrock Gardens and the staff there have been awesome since our arrival on a Saturday in the evening. My mom is very happy with the care she is receiving. She also cannot stop talking about the window and view she has in her room. The grounds are beautiful and the place is very clean. Each time I have gone to visit, the staff has been very professional and friendly. Everyone comes into the room to introduce themselves to us and to ensure everything is going well. I cannot thank them enough for the care they are giving my mom and the improvement I am seeing in her. PRAISE GOD!!!
My mother was there for rehab and every time I went there she was in her room sitting in her wheel chair. They are terrible. Also a neighbor was there also the same exact thing was happening to her. No care no rehabilitation.
Definitely go somewhere else. I cannot express that enough.
My mother was sitting there with pneumonia and they(staff and Dr ) there said she was fine but was not. My mother went back to Brick hospital and it was confirmed she did have pneumonia.
Shorrock Gardens was wonderful with my father. His nurses, therapists, activity directors, volunteers, and staff were all very kind and compassionate. The therapist was very understanding of his needs, and goals. He went from a wheelchair to not only walking again, with just a cane (if needed), but thoroughly prepared for home (including able to climb stairs) when he left their care. His meals were healthy, and he enjoyed them. The family activities were always well thought out, and nicely executed. I highly recommend Shorrock Gardens for your loved one.

The staff and management are extremely helpful and caring I have every confidence because I know that my wife is receiving the best care possible something I couldn't possibly do at home and I will forever be grateful what they do for her before my wife came here I checked out several other facilities in my opinion none of them compared with shorrock and this is two years later my wife has been here for 2 years
My mom has been at Shorrock SNF for a over month, receving physical therapy. She is doing very well, soon to be discharged. I am happy to report that the staff is exceptional. They care deeply for their patients. She also had a picc line removed which was done successfully. Shout out to the following care givers/staff: Patty, Marguerite, Michelle, Dan, Elsa, Karen, Natalia, Derrick, Joanne, Kyssan, Akosswa, Laurette and Maggie or Naggie. Shorrock Gardens is the place! My Aunt stayed there and did not want to leave. The care was great the staff were caring and the activities kept her so busy that the time flew! We will continue to visit Shorrock Gardens for many years to come.
My husband has been at Shorrock Gardens Care Center for 3 weeks so far, and we have been extremely pleased with everything. He is well fed, cleaned and tended to properly.
The facility and rooms are maintained meticulously clean.
The staff is always pleasant, informative and attentive.
Although the day rooms, where meals and activities take place are a bit understaffed (in my opinion) the aides remain polite, patient and respectful with the residents.

My dad is being released today after being a patient for one month. The service and treatment he received was excellent from top to bottom. All staff made my family feel comfortable and at ease in this difficult situation and I really appreciate it.

My father stayed in almost all wings of the Shorrock Garden Care Center for an 18 month period before his passing in July 2018. Taking care of someone s loved one at a terminal stage in their life with all of the challenges they face is very difficult. Most families are not equipped to do it. The directors and staff there treated him with the utmost care, compassion, responsiveness, and dignity the whole time. In all circumstances they were patient and understanding to my father s needs and the many questions and concerns that his family had. My father really loved the nurses that took special care of him. I pray that God blesses the staff at the Shorrock Garden Care Center because they are really doing His work there.

My father has been here for about 6 weeks now and he has gotten very good care. The place is clean, everyone is professional and friendly and I feel like my father is being well looked after.
My mom has been at Shorrock Gardens for over a year. I have nothing but good to say about this facility. The staff is considerate, caring and professional. I had the pleasure just last night to be a part of their Thanksgiving Dinner event. It was nothing that I would have expected. The staff did an awesome job, beautifully decorated and the food was delicious! It felt like home. My family is very happy and confident with the care my mother is getting

My husband & I went to Shorrock Gardens for the Thanksgiving Dinner with my Mother who is a resident there. Everything was wonderful. The place was decorated so beautifully and the evening was planned out so beautifully and very well organized. The food was excellent and the perfect portion was given. There was also wine, soda & water provided. All the staff were very accomodating and caring throughout the evening. It was really an enjoyable evening for all. My compliments to the chef!

After moving my father from a previous nursing home, because he fell 5 times. Fifth time resulting in a hip fracture. I am so happy with the care he is getting At Shorrock Gardens. I have a good feeling when I leave there. I know my dad is being cared for. The staff is great and friendly!! Highly recommend this place.
Shorrock Gardens share all their Holidays with all their residents and do a great job of it.
I am a private CNA working privately at Shorrock for several years and see all the wonderful care the staff gives to the Residents. (medically all the way to entertainment) either way, it's from their hearts. To see the smile on their faces certainly warms your heart. For example.....every year they serve a Thanksgiving dinner usually a week before and this year Steve (manager of Diningroom)and his wonderful staff to Cindy (Administrator) along with her wonderful staff did a magnificent job. Steve and staff cooking and both his staff and Cindy's, serving over 120 residents and guests. Never did a smile or kind word leave them.
Whatever the Occasion or Holiday is, they do it with their hearts and the residents love it.

My mother was a patient at this facility for approximately 30 days. When my family watched her wheeled into the front doors, she was alert. She was brought in for therapy for a broken leg due to a fall. We center to this facility because they say they specialize in Alzheimer s and dementia which my mom suffers from both diseases. Due to the COVID-19 we cannot visit her at her bedside. When she was finally released from this facility we waited for her to be wheeled out through the front door she came in through we thought you d be excited to be home but what we noticed was that they turned her into a zombie, They had her so drugged up that she could barely open her eyes it was raining that day and when they wheeled her out they didn t have her shoes on I asked the staff wear are her shoes. The response was we don t know mind you my mother is bedridden and was in the room by her self so it s not like she had them someone took her shoes and she never got them back along with a crystal vase that we kept flowers and we also never got that back either. Also, when she first entered the facility she had no bedsores when she came out of the facility her body was covered in bedsores and since we could not go in and see her they took a vantage of this I never bothered to move her out of her bed. In closing I would never recommend this facility to any of your love ones. They say they specialize in dementia and Alzheimer s and I found out how they specialize in it they just pump them with drugs. They ruined my mother, She left this facility totally changed and never recovered.
My grandmother has received good care from this facility since she moved there.
The people of this facility take very good care of my father. I know that they have a lot of work to do to care for their resident's, and they do a fantastic job .
I am pleased to have my Dad be in their care.
