I love The Club at Shorewood! Evening hours, two nights a week, are awesome! When recovering from two total knee surgeries (six weeks apart) my PT recommended the Hydroworx. I truly believe I got back on both feet so quickly due to the time I spent in water therapy at The Club.

I love this place. My mother has been a resident here for several years. She loves it; we are very happy with the facilities and the staff. Everyone is courteous and friendly. Great retirement accommodations.
Worst job I had in my life... Poor management. They need to improve on appreciating all staffs who work hard for them even if they are NOT full time. The reason i say that is because Jay the manager stated i only worked weekends. So by my statement Im basically saying "it doesn't matter if you're a fulltime or part-time staff you should be appreciated either way, so Jay the manager was very disrespectful and rude. Overall i will NEVER recommend anyone to work there. But I loved the clients I worked for during the morning shift on the Assistance side. I will never forget them. Bless you all!
I only used their warm water pool for physical therapy, but the clubhouse is clean and the employees are friendly. I was very pleasantly surprised that one of them knew my name and I'm not a resident!
Getting older has its challenges; some days more than others. Living at Shorewood Independent Living helps meet those challenges in so many ways: Social, by providing staff/resident and resident/resident opportunities for interactions; Mental, by offering stimulating programs designed to promote intellectual growth and thought provoking discussion; Emotional, by offering daily support and groups designed to foster strong bonds; Physical, by providing a health club with many, many opportunities to keep our bodies active and strong; and Spiritual, by opening up so many ways to grow and be nurtured in our faith whatever our beliefs may be. AND, most importantly, everything is a choice. All opportunities are invitational and without pressure. I m glad I live at Shorewood and thankful that Shorewood is here for me.
