Superb products and wonderful customer service. Have had other name brand docks and lifts and ShoreMaster is clearly the sturdiest and most innovative. When you have a question or concern, their customer service is second to none--I wish other companies still had the service that ShoreMaster displays.
So disappointed in the lift I purchased from Shoremaster. Be aware, they do NOT make their own lift motors and will not stand behind them if there is a problem. Sent in my lift motor, which was still under warranty, to Extreme Boat Lifts who actually make them for Shoremaster. They said the lift had been submerged and would not cover the repair. It has NOT been submerged as it was hanging on the frame of the lift at least 4 feet above the dock and about 6 feet or more above the water. NO WAY it was submerged as there was no flooding. I went to Shoremaster since I bought it as a Shoremaster product (big Shoremaster sticker on the front!) and they would not do anything about it. SO....BUYER BEWARE!
Follow up on my review....after the response to my original review from Shoremaster I emailed their customer service as they suggested.. No response, of course. I don't know why I expected anything else. Again BUYER BEWARE! They will not stand behind "their product" they sell as their own but actually isn't...
Nine years ago I purchased a ShoreMaster hydraulic lift from Lakeshore Equipment for my boat on Lake Minnetonka and it has never worked right. Every season for nine years, I have had to call to have the lift serviced. When asked to help correct the problem, the customer service manager at ShoreMaster refused to help. If you buy a Shoremaster lift and it is anything like the one I own, you will be on a first name basis with the service tech for years to come. As well-intentioned and pleasant as the service guys have been, they ve never figured out why my ShoreMaster lift doesn t work consistently the way it is intended. Of course, they never had any factory training or training in hydraulics something I learned after 9 years of problems with the lift. Meanwhile, my boat is sitting in the water, being bashed against the dock by waves and wake, fading in the sunlight, and getting a scum line all the things I was trying to avoid by buying a lift. My next lift won t be a ShoreMaster lift.
This is an amazing Company. By far the highest quality dock and lift supplies we work with. If you want a quality product, that with last year's and be the safest for your family and water toys, go with ShremasShor!
