Have been here 2 times for Google I / O and this is clearly a nice place. The amphitheater itself is a bit clever, in the morning it is shade and quite cold, but when the sun rises above the sun shade it becomes very hot and easy to burn. Make sure you have sunscreen and other sun protection!

Venue is great. Prices r concessions are scary high and the food is terrible. All of this could be overlooked but the venue's traffic is monstrous and apparently the City of Mountain View can't afford a few police to direct traffic off the interstate. I've never seen a city neglect congestion around a venue like this.

Warped Tour was great at Shoreline!

The stages and setup worked very nicely, the only improvement would be to have more water stations, they was only 1 and the line was insanely long.

I'm still not convinced by this venue, I haven't had the greatest sound experience here and the hassle to get in and get out of the parking lot is annoying. The food and drinks are quite expensive ($16-a-can-of-beer-type-of-expensive). So far, unless its a band that I'm dying to see, and/or if you live/work walking distance from here, I wouldn't bother with the trip.

Shoreline ampitheatre is just a great place to go and see a concert..although ive also seen shows there in childhood and my time off, the past few years Ive been too busy working as a spotlight operator ro attend any shows as a patron...but shoreline has a very laid back amd friendly atmosphere, it only operates during the time of year where the weather is beautiful, and there is just an awesome, fun loving atmosphere that pervades. Tickets are also found to be affordable, there are frequent opportunities to meet world famous talent, and shoreline has no begun dedicating Part of their season to Google's biggest yearly corportate event, and also carrying EDM concerts. One downside to shoreline is the parking situation is regrettable as it can be very very difficult to get in and out.

A bit dated now. Been going to this place since late 80s. Slow to enter. Food options pretty good. View from middle seat area is easily obstructed if the person sitting or standing in front of you is relatively tall.

Great experience seeing Paramore and Foster the People! Definitely know I was "ripped off" by the Asian Fusion food vendor that charged $55 for 2 meals and 2 sodas. They couldn't refund the overcharge due to computer/tablet issues. Whatever, the show was enjoyable nevertheless.

My favorite place for concerts in Bay Area. 4 years in a row we can't miss Bridge School Benefit concert initiated by Neil Young. The best way is to bike there if you're not living far it's the best way to avoid waiting time to park and get there. Open air space is great

I've been to this venue many times and have seen concerts all throughout the venue. I highly recommend checking out their annual summer schedule for all genres of music, as many legends in the music industry have graced the main stage over the years.

Lawn seats are very far from the stage. During the summer, because it stays bright into the evening, they don't turn on the projector until later in the night. Drinks are crazy expensive. Free parking is nice.

What a wonderful spot to see a favorite band! You can get lawn access if you are on a budget. Many seat sections are not under the canopy, either, so if it is going to rain (rare in Mountain View), bring a poncho. There is a food area with a reasonable variety (although not much for vegetarians), and of course lots of pricey booze. There is a nice picnic area, too. It is a long walk from the parking lot but surprisingly quick to get in and out. Make sure you check out the list of prohibited items, and have a great time at one of the premier concert venues in the country.

Fantastic place to go see the fireworks/SF Symphony on Independence Day (July 4th).
Crazy traffic though, so grab a quilt and wait it out in the many lawns available around the parking lots, great way to socialize with a group of people 10-15.

Easy getting around. We were part of the normal crowd and there wasn't a long line at the time we entered, which was a little late due to getting off the freeway off ramp because of all the people cutting in line at the light rather than waiting like everyone else. The amphitheater is a U shape. You enter at the bottom of the U and go either directions for venders and multiple restrooms. So either direction you go gets you too the stage. Both sides are identical entrances to seating and lawn areas. There are a couple screens to see the stage in the vender area and a large one centered in the lawn area. You can't get lost.

First time here. Enormous venue. Saw Lynyrd Skynyrd's farewell tour concert. Very similar setup to other ampatheatres. Can't say it was better or worse than others. Had a good time, enjoyed the show, had some good food, got in and out pretty smooth.

Great venue for seeing your favorite performers. The lawns Seating is a good spot. The seating also provides great viees.

Food selection is not bad, Guy Fieri's burger joint offers good selection and their garlic fries are a good bet.

Beer is pricey ($16 for a 20 Oz. Cup of Craft). So drink up before you enter the gates unless you want to drop some dimes on brews and spend a long time in line.

Overall, I had a good time at the Shoreline. Getting in was smooth. We parked and got through security quickly. Things were well laid out. The bathrooms were adequate and were well stocked. The food was decent. However, despite leaving the concert early, it took us 2 hours to get out of the parking lot. For this reason, I will not return.

Attended Google I/O19 and it was really awesome experience. The place is just about right. During the I/O you'd better come earlier because of the traffic would be enormous. If the shuttle service were available, you'd better to take the first service available just to make sure you weren't late to come to the venue.

Pretty nice place to watch a concert. Food and drinks are subpar and are way way expensive as one would expect at an venue like this. My main problem with this place is getting in and out of it while driving. Traffic is horrendous. Should be an hour and a half drive to 2 hours from where we live. Nope.... takes a solid 3-4 hours. We won't be back. :/

I am just rating the amphitheater... first parking is confusing. Second if you are not in the know it is a disappointing start to getting in. We were an hour early, got in line a waited. A second line started to form, the line for that have been there before and paid the $5 for the fast track or had a AAA. Good for them, we watched as over a couple of thousand people passed us, there was no option to buy a fast track pass if you didn t know about it earlier. Only a 40 minutes after the gates open did our line start moving.... this as to say the least a bit frustrating.
The seats are nice, good leg room .... unfortunately the seats are in a straight line and I was just unfortunate enough to have the only one who stood through the concert right in front of me dancing .... I was glad she was getting some exercise as she was a bit on the plus size for a Layne Bryant customer. Unfortunately I could not see the stage for the night. At Concord Pavilion they at least have screens on the side so that you can see the stage if it is blocked in front of you.
Food was only okay and that is excluding the price, for the price it was poor. Drinks were ballpark price.... fairly pricy.
Good acoustics, not much for weather protection from the environment.

Overall pretty poor experience for the first time. Like Concord Pavilion better, if they can combine the best from both ... it would be good.

Last night I took my son to see Brad Paisley. A friend gave me tickets in the lawn area. My son has autism and when we arrived the lines were so long. I explained my sons not coping inline and his issues with it .They took me to another area and let us in then we went to grass area and he had a mild melt down so I was just gonna take him home. Went to ticket area to see if we could upgrade and maybe sit in a seat. They put us in a box seating area with few people and he had a blast!!!! this people we so understanding and AWESOME!!!! my sons concert experence was way beyond and Thank You for making his evening so special for him.

Great venue. Driving into the parking area is time consuming with major traffic. Acoustics are good. All beverages and food are marked up at least 300%. Very crowded on lawn area. Purchase seat tickets.

It s the house that Billy Graham built. Built in 1986 and has been played by every major musical act since... and has no end in sight.

It s a really nice place for those of us back stage. House crew is top notch.
