The venue is great... reserved seats are well arranged... tight arm rests, but good leg room for when people want out. Parking sucks...they funnel everyone out of 1 or 2 driveways... single file... once on paved road it moves quick.

Love this place! Has a good layout, isn t too crowded or crazy, and they have a good organized system for attending concerts. They have transport up to the site, so security is tight. Good shows, great events, nice location... beautiful!

We live close by and get tickets all summer for all kinds of events. It's easy and a great location to enjoy the weather and some music or a cool show. Getting there sucks if you drive, but we can walk -it's a decent walk but more social and fun than sitting in traffic

This place gets too packed. Seems they want to put in as many people possible in here. I think they overpack it. To get any drinks it takes a while since there's so many people waiting. Drinks and food are pretty expensive.

I remember seeing Joe Cocker and the Steve Miller Band here many years ago. We recently went to see Dolly Parton and the show was great. Unfortunately the traffic problem has only gotten worse over the years. Getting in and out of the parking lot took hours.

Good.

Quite a nice place to attend a concert. Parking is free for most concerts and close to the venue entrance. Gets chilly cause it's right next to the bay so wear warm clothing and carry a sleeping bag if you have lawn tickets.

Sound quality is occasionally bad in the back (there were two blown out speakers last time I went) and food / beer is expensive, but it's never too crowded and has some awesome artists coming through.

ample "preferred" parking, worth the extra few bucks. Easy to walk around, though some more handrails would be great up the general admission hill. I liked the Hawaiian food truck that was in place better than the other installations. Plenty of seating and relatively short lines were great. Restrooms were well maintained, and lines went quickly there as well.

This place is hard to figure out the rules for what you can take in seem to change , we were sent back to the car to leave a wooden parasel that we were allowed to take in last time , that was after the hour wait in line then was made to stand in part of the line again .we also payed extra for a fast pass which they decided to give away to everybody so our fast pass made us miss the first part of the show as we had to stand in line over an hour . it didnt use to be like that ..

Great place.for a concert. They do a great job parking people and getting people in and out. Seats are ok but not comfortable and not much room to move. I prefer the lawn - at least there's room to move and dance if you want to. Food choices are ok - I'd like to see some more healthier choices. Nice thing is you can bring in some food. All in all though I do enjoy going to the concerts. You really need to get close to the stage if you want to get a good picture.

Bob Seger is The Best Concert I've experienced in my life so far all 55 years , acoustics were great , it was a outdoor night concert so the stage light dynamic s were pretty cool, there's all kinds of various seating available and rental lawn chairs for up on the lawn hill that has several large monitor s , friendly staff, drinks are pricey but hey you can drink up in the parking lot before hand . You can your own lawn chairs and sealed water. I've been to alot of concerts at various venues in my life and hands down this place " rocks them all !

Venue was good sound was good although overall thought the shoe was B- good food and drinks but extremely pricey ( my wife and I spent almost seventy dollars for one tall can of modelo, a cheeseburger each and an order of season fries, ouch) not sure they need to hit a captive crowd that hard, but what do I know I'm just Joe blow spending the little expendable income we have on a concert. All in all after parking, transportation, food and beverage, over 100 for us and our tickets were comped otherwise add $40 up to $80 or more. Love the venue Outdoors on the lawn that part was beautiful loved it and excited crowd dancing around having a good time.

Always a great venue. Drinks were off the charts, though! But not so bad, relative to what you'd pay at a sporting event. The best part was how they got us in and out of general parking tonight. And all of the staff were wishing the concert goers a good time and good night! Great job event staff!

Great

Shoreline is one of my favorite music venues anywhere. The sound quality is amazing, even from the lawn. It is totally possible to get seats in the first 15 rows as a normal human being buying regular tickets without any inside connections, unlike most stadium venues. Alcohol is obviously expensive, but you can bring in your own food, which is a huge plus. If you live close enough, ride your bike to Shoreline and save yourself hours of being stuck in traffic (both before and after the concert).

Considering the City of Mountain View owns the venue, a lot of thought and coordination takes place for each and every event. Be safe, always be with a friend, and thank the staff working the event! We are here for your safety and to ensure everyone is having a good & safe time. =)

The Amphitheater itself is a pretty good venue. The problems are with the location, parking, driving accessibility and the clowns that work there. The traffic around Shoreline is horrible, it is surrounded by Google's headquarters and there is only 1 major road to and from the freeway. It is so bad that people trying to get to an event have been known to leave their cars on the freeway so they could then walk to the amphitheater. If you arrive early enough to avoid the nightmare of getting in then you live the insanity of trying to get out of that horrid parking lot and back to the freeway. WHAT IN THE WORLD WERE THE PLANNERS THINKING? So, if you have a MUST see event I suggest putting the bike rack on the family truckster. Then, haul the bicycles into downtown Mountain View, way, way
early and have dinner. After dinner bike in and out of the Nightmare Amphitheater.

Entertainment drives inflation. I could stop there but I'll elaborate. $70 preferred parking, $15 beers, $23 shots... Even as f'ed up as the prices are, I recommend both. The preferred parking is for your sanity, trust me on this one. And the beer, well it's beer, gotta have it. At least they have great choices.

Not appreciate everybody smoke pot and makes it unbearable and makes me sick. Also positive that after people smoke pot for couple hour non stop I am very concern about them driving and sharing the road DUI leaving the theatre

Coming here is never a good experience and the parking situation continues to be a clusterflak. You have to plan on arriving at least two hours before doors open to attempt to park in their ridiculously undersized parking lot and then you get to listen to the show on an outdated sound system. I come here as little as possible, even traveling out of state to see artists I like before coming to this venue.

Went to see Santana, he had an amazing performance. We had lawn seating with plenty of space for dancing. This an open venue so come prepared. Chair or mat, comfortable clothing and shoes. The uncomfortable only thing was the smoking everywhere.

Went to see Dave Matthews Band. first time ever seeing them and at shoreline ... Had a wonderful time loved the feeling all of these people give off. Sweet friendly crowd. Had lounge passes really nice would of need great if man next to me wasn't constantly touching me. It's too small .but very cool crowd..lol great time loved it and my wonderful frien @Marlene for taking me.

Great venue for music but food and alcohol prices are very high. Even bottled water is overpriced.

We saw SFO Symphony, who were AWESOME, but those of left side must have had horrible view of fireworks since they were behind them.

Parking, while reasonable AR $10 per car, was anarchy leaving. Took us an HOUR to get out, and there were still LOTS of folks still trapped in parking lot E. Plan on 1 hr MINIMUM to get out of there, plus 30 minutes to get to car from venue.
