Pros- Beautiful outdoor seating area. Lawn tickets are dirt cheap and you get a pretty good view. Seat-seating is also excellent and there are cup holders on the back of the chairs for your booze. Lots of cool artists play/perform here.
Cons- If you don't want to shell out $40 bucks for VIP parking, the parking lot is a bit away and a NIGHTMARE to get out of after a packed concert.

Yahhhh

I love Shoreline!!! Love hanging out on the Lawn, spreadung out my blankets, setting up my chairs, and hanging out with my friends, listening to music. Best venue, great parking with the Premier Parking pass.. just love it there!

I'm here all the te for concerts. Can definitely recommend the venue. Lawn seating is usually cheap and it's nice to sit on the grass. They can be rather picky about what they allow in, though, so watch out for that.

I liked venue, but the drinks are way way over priced and the parking situation was off the hook. It took 35 minutes to get outta there because there is nothing but a dirt field to park in. Other than that it was clean and fun.

Audio quality is great everywhere, but you can only really see the people on stage if you are in the first tier of seats. After that the performers are super super tiny, or (on the lawn) you watch them on screens while knowing they are on the stage somewhere in the distance. It is still a fun venue. But if it's someone you really want to go see (and then actually see them with your eyes) I would avoid this venue. For more casual shows, it's great!

I have been going to Shoreline Amphitheatre since it opened and have seen many, many shows there over the years. Last night I went to see Dead&Co, which was a truly epic show. Getting in was another story. I have never had such a bad experience at Shoreline. It took us 90 minutes of waiting in line. Luckily, we happened to find the right line right away. Others weren t so lucky and ended up missing some of the show. They (Live Nation AND Shoreline staff) clearly needed more people on duty to do crowd management and security. The actual security process was as quick as it usually was, once you got there. The problem seemed to be that not enough gates were open. As we were inching toward the main gate, staff let about 20 people go through a side gate. Why? Who knows? The workers couldn t tell me why that gate wasn t open and why more people couldn t go through. There were people wandering around trying to figure it out, wasting a lot of time walking in the wrong direction or getting in the wrong line. When staff was present, they didn t tell people what to do. Why not? Since I m going to the trouble of writing a review, I ll throw this in. Listen, I expect prices to be high, but charging $25-30 for a cocktail and $15 for a beer is just criminal, plain and simple. C mon, charge more, okay, we expect it but don t screw us. And I bring my own food now. Maybe I d buy some at the venue if the prices were merely exorbitant and not rapacious. One more thing, they used to have more screens up for us lawn people but not last night-just one in the middle. WTF?! Throw up another couple of screens, people! These last two rants are minor complaints but last night s travesty of concert ingress will make me reconsider going to another show at Shoreline, which makes me sad because I usually have such a great time there.

great venue 4 concerts! started out at top of lawn and loved the acoustics..also cool to look at sea of people all waving arms in the air...later got to experience concert from box seats..what a difference! could see the sweat on musicians' faces and feel the music from here side note: 4 the price they charge 4 box seats they really should be bigger boxes..they cram 4 chairs in 2 rows...there is no room to move around..if you fold the chairs up and stand the whole time you have a little bit of breathing room

Attended a great concert here, getting in & out of parking ruined my entire evening. They can direct traffic and make it efficient, however they take the cheap way out and let people figure it out.

I hadn't anticipated how cold this place would be, and the food and drinks were surprisingly expensive. There are signs claiming that food can be delivered to your seat through Live Nation app, but it says delivery to our seats in 203 wasn't available.

The Last of many concerts I went to here was Whitney Houston's.
She turned her back on the audience and looked at the Grand piano player.
Ah Oh.
Her voice was ragged.
After a short time she just walked off stage.
It was a Horrible concert!

But what was even Worse as my ticket-connected GF and I walked out was that SHORELINE was NOT offering REFUNDS!!
That is inexcusable.

Traffic after was always a mess, briefly if you relaxed.

The traffic around this place is absurd! One way streets the entire way in. Parking is like 3-4 miles away unless you have a VIP parking pass. We actually missed Cyndi Lauper because it took us over an hour to drive 10 miles...

The Venue was great! We saw the SF Symphony for the 4th of July and the performance and subsequent fireworks show was great! It would be 5 stars, but it took us an hour to get out of the parking lot.

I haven't been here in years. Same horrible parking lot staffed by individuals who do not know how to move traffic. Ren Faire and boyscouts do better. I thought more than once someone would get run over.
The exit is a free for all. Extremely dangerous and takes hours. Why don't they have mass transit or shuttles by now? Great act but I don't recommend anyone put their lives at risk in these parking lots. See your entertainers somewhere else.

A great place to attend a concert! The venue itself is nice, there are multiple places to get food/drinks, and there's even an app that you can use to have someone deliver your food to your seat.

I haven't been to a show in 15 years and the place looks the same and sounds great. Always a good time and great atmosphere. Took my 13 year old to his first show to see Ben Folds and Cake, fantastic set by both. My son had the time of his life. Such great memories of past shows here.

Very long lines and poor crowd management. Many of the food vendors were closed. The lawn was oversold and too crowded. Walking vendors kept interrupting the symphony shouting churros and hot cocoa. This was about two vendors a minute. This is not a baseball game it's the symphony. So disrespectful. Live Nation should be ashamed.

Everyone working here was helpful. The problem was leaving after the concert. It took nearly two hours to leave the parking lot. There need to be more routes out or a better organization of the exit routes.

Awesome

I saw the Fourth of July Fireworks Spectacular with the SF Symphony at the Shoreline Amphitheatre. The music was great, but the venue was terrible for the event. First was the concert, then came the fireworks accompanied by great music - patriotic and even the theme to Star Wars. However, the fireworks were behind the seats, so everyone had to turn 180* in their seats to see. It was ridiculous. Then hearing about how bad leaving the parking lot can be, we waited for a post-show raffle to let the first wave of cars leave. 30 minutes after the show concluded, we finally went to the car. Where we sat for the next hour (90 minutes after the show finished) before we were finally able to get out of the parking lot and onto the freeway. This was unbelievable and unacceptable. The parking lot and exit routes need MAJOR improvements, including more staff to direct traffic flow, and perhaps widening the roads to handle that many cars.
